The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East Midlands

Took 2 hours to arrive, and every time we called they said it was on the way. Food was cold. Ruined my birthday

Having used Hoi Shan quite a few times we put an order in tonight at 5pm - were told delivery up to 45 minutes- no problem with that - got to about ten past six so rang to check & was told on the way. Food finally arrived & was basically almost cold - had obviously been prepared then left standing for some time. Tried to reheat where we could but basically ended up very poor. Sorry but I don't think we'll bother next time!😔

The restaurant service was chaotic, and the food was undercooked. The staff lacked basic service awareness, failing to provide essentials like spoons without being asked. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Fantastic food! Arrived quickly, on a Saturday, hot, fresh, great flavours.. Cant praise this place enough, the food is always very good.

Food was not tasty here no taste of sauce all products are dry I feel very bed because I feel I have wasted my money

Always gone to the CK house over the years very happy with the food and service, and the staff all ways help, we had chicken chow main with mushrooms it tasted great and was really fresh with plenty of chicken and mushrooms asked for the onion to be left out as we don't like it everything was spot on with quick delivery. Any problems with any orders just call and they will help don't be afraid to ask 🙂

Worst chinese takeaway I've ever had by far . They ran out of rice right after I ordered this was 7.30 on a Saturday night so I changed it to noodles . When I got my order home (mushroom curry) there was about a half a cm of oil floating on top . The noodles were just that noodles no onion or beansprouts and were bland the curry was also bland all everything tasted of was cheap oil . I threw it away and definitely won't be going back .

Lovely, fresh food. There aren't many recent reviews so I was a little apprehensive but I need not to have been, everything I ordered was lovely. I ordered on the website for collection and it was ready and waiting when I went in 20 minutes later. So pleased to have finally found a good Chinese in Northampton.

Was in skegness after visiting many seaside towns like blackpool and rhyl (but holyhead was a horror area) and tried the local chineses which were satisvactory at best. I got a lickle portion of chips, egg fried rice, and curry sauce. After one bite i felt i'd gone from skegness to shanghi. Warra place and servers are blimin ledges couldn't recomend enough. Highly recomend for young families theres a kids menu which is banging. packed with flavour. Also love how the toiletes are close and an easy run/waddle from the tables. this helps ibs sufferes like me self

Very good!! Lemon chicken was more sweet than lemon but it was still yummy, chicken balls were quite oily.
