Great Wall Take Away in Kettering

Such a lovely meal. Very well cooked. And great price. Also delivery was on time. With a really friendly service. Will definitely use again.

They took my order before the restaurant opened my order was for dilevery which was very good, the delivery driver got lost in my building had to find her not that big a deal, but the food was stone cold I mean under Luke warm the restaurant is very close under a mile which is ashame as the food tasted lovely, as I phoned to complain the man tried to say it was warm when it left okay then, I will be going to the only other Chinese in the town more expensive but atleast it's warm, it's ashame as we rarely get takeaway and this has spoiled it

The food is very tasty and prepared quickly. Their chicken in satay sauce is delicious 😋

Excellent tasty food delivered piping hot on time

The chilli chips were undercooked and not spicy in the slightest. The garlic beef was so chewy it made me feel sick, next to no veg apart from peppers. Very disappointing.

The chips were dry, loot warm (almost cold) and tasted as though they were long done before the ribs, very disapointed

We ordered a take away through Just Eat and rang to confirm the order, which when arrived was wrong. I rang the resturant and the male staff member was rude and basically called me a liar. Thankfully there is another Chinese restaurant in town, which happen to be nicer!

Tried both delivery and collection and have not been disappointed.

We have eaten from here plenty of times. My sons LOVE the sweet and sour chicken balls, special rice and the chowmein. Delivery driver is so polite and friendly which makes it even better 5☆

Chicken curry & rice , worst Chinese I've ever had , curry sauce was hot and tasteless , chicken was lukewarm to cold and tasted uncooked, all in the bin , total waste of money

First time ever ordered from here and it was amazing and got to say one of best Chinese I've had .pork balls done to perfectionist not over done in batter like most Chinese it's all batter no meat this was spot on meal highly recommend and will be ordering again

We had previously avoided the Great Wall as we had been disappointed but this time was a big change. The food is now excellent since the new management took over. We will certainly be back again for another tasty meal.

Food not all covered in sticky sauce like so many of it's kind. Delivery was prompt despite being on the edge of their radius. We ordered off of the set menu which provided a lot of food and was great value. Would definitely use them again.

So where does one begin. A lovely pre-Christmas get together with friends and good gin we decided to round our evening off by ordering a £50 order of Chinese food from the Great Wall. We ordered online but then called the shop to clarify our dietary requirements ie: no onions in our food, we were assured that this had been noted. We also discussed with the young lady that we would like the chicken wings as our freebie product which was offered as our order was over £35. They also offered free prawn crackers to all orders over £10 in value. An hour later our order arrived minus the chicken wings, we called just to say we are missing this item only for the young girl on the desk to hang up on us mid conversation. So we called back and the “lovely Liam” answered the phone. 40 minutes of arguing later, £50 of cold food and a blatant refusal to accept any responsibility for the mistake or the hangup. Liam told us that He wouldn’t be delivering the missed food and as it was offered as a freebie they did Not HAVE to supply. Also the manager refused to speak to us directly!!! Great service not

I placed a rather large order this evening and elected chicken wings as my 'free' item. I received prawn crackers. Having spent £15 over the last 'gratuity' limit I believed the crackers to be a gift (as is the way with Chinese restaurants), however once the order was checked, chicken wings were none! I rang the restaurant to explain, only to be hung up upon. I rang again only to become embroiled in a 40 minute debate about my integrity, their lack of business plan and how I had no chicken wings. The member of staff Liam, was very unhelpful and implied I couldn't read his menu, repeated himself and his questions and by the time my food had gone cold, we still had no chicken wings - which in Liams words are 'just a token'. I've never used the other Chinese in the town, but I will now. To be hung up on, accused of lying and with a manager too scared to speak to a customer, this clearly isn't an establishment that cares about their customers!

Poor experience tonight, I ordered the chicken balls and they delivered over an hour 1hr 20mins and let's say that they are under cooked and resemble lightly fried balls of dough! I call to complain and they offered me a 10% discount on my next order. I have spent 5.20 on something I cant eat and they are only offering £2.00 (£20 order) back if I use them again, dont think so!

Chop Suey and rice both greasy and not very tasty, meat was poor quality and doubt as to what the chicken died from. Curry sauce very thin and unpleasant taste. Very large quantity but low quality.

Asked for fried rice, was given boiled rice and told fried rice without soy sauce. Flagrant lie. Delivery driver smokes in her car

The food and price at this takeaway is ok and similar to others in the area However the dishes were a bit greasy and this ruined the experience

We have out take away delivery from here each week and never have a problem,the delivery people always hav a smile

Delivery lady said I will see you next time and she has been so right.We have ordered first time and we will be definitely regular customers.Chow mein dishes are spot on!Portions are big and they all have amazing tastes.

Lovely food, lovely service, well worth the money, plus very welcoming staff and friendly. Must go there, very fast to bring out for food. Never been a disappointment!!!

There is a great selection of dishes and all are good or very good. The previous owners had the edge over the present owners,so by just pushing harder can get there! Very good all the same.

He usado unas cuantas veces, nunca tuvimos una mala comida siempre disfrutamos de la comida, pero el curry podría ser ligeramente más caliente para mí. También tienen un servicio de entrega que me han dicho es excelente ya que solo local en vivo siempre me recogerá. Se lo recomiendo a cualquiera para llevar comida china.

We haven't used this takeaway for a long time and used it recently. We have only marked one point for the good telephone manner. Arrived to collect my order only to be told cash only. (Could have prepared me for that when i phoned)? Had to go and find a cash point. Why cash only in this day and age? (Maybe a VAT inspection required)? Just to cap it all, the food was disgusting. Not recommended.

Had an awful takeaway from here last night. The sauces were watery and lacking taste and the chicken tasted suspicious as my stomach will testify.

Had a good takeaway from here every time. Especially love the special curry, and the Hong Kong style sweet and sour.

Good chinese food. It is quicker if you pick up rather then have them deliver. Also, the plain rice/fried rice is much better than the special rice/noodles dishes

We had just moved here and decided to get a take away. Staff were lovely and friendly and decided to order a few dishes to take home and try. Sorry to say that all dishes tasted the same. The chicken was re formed slushy, previously frozen chicken. It was a waste of money and most of it ended up in the bin - Sorry!! won't use again

Had to let everyone know what a lovely Chinese food this place delivers. Found them on 'Just Eat' and have ordered quite a few times now. Every time the food has been delivered on-time, correct & hot. Even the delivery driver has a smile on there face. Would not order Chinese food anywhere else. Keep up the good work people :-)

Had a great meal and plenty of it. I had sweet chilli chicken and it wasthe best ever! My wife was very pleased with her satay chicken and egg fried rice

This is the second time I have had meals from the Great Wall and on both occasions they were excellent. This evening I had a duck meal and the meat was so tender it also tasted very good! We will be back soon.

Wow the food was brilliant, dont be fooled by outward looks or the slow staff the food more than makes up for it, go on give it a try.
