Dreadful rice and very bland dishes with barely any flavour, avoid if you enjoy food with flavour

Food is good. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have 50min available to wait for your order. I recommend calling an hour beforehand the hour you actually plan to eat. Very unhappy. Don’t trust it when they say come in 20min because is not going to be ready in that amount of time. It’s not the first time this has happened. Today I decided to write this review as today’s waiting time was the cherry on top of it.

Visiting Stanford. So glad I visited Zen’s family run business. Zen was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. At a late hour, he cooked me such an amazing meal called Three meat delicious! Also some Singapore noodles. Good quality & quantity too. Not too hot as requested by me. If I’m ever back in Stamford would love to return there again!

Not good enough. Ordered food at 18.38 and it came up and suggested a delivery time of 19.38 which is acceptable on a Friday night. I had to call at 19.52 as food hadn't arrived and was told food was on it's way and delivery was delayed due to flooding and he couldn't get through (which is untrue) I then had to call 20.08 as still not arrived and was told they couldn't find my order and was i sure I'd ordered it with them (again a lie) I checked the just eat app and rang the number attached to my order and it was classic canton. I heard the guy talking to a lady and he said "I cant tell him that as I told him its was on its way half an hour ago) so he passed the phone on and they had now found my order and when I asked why it was 1 30 late she said they are just busy and didn't offer any kind of discount and did I just want to cancel my order!! Really very poor and not acceptable plus we had two children waiting for thier food. I wont be ordering with classic canton and am thinking of cancelling the just eat app as it seems to me that once the shops have your money they put you to the bottom of the pile so I'd rather pay cash on delivery and have the option of cancelling an order if it's late or being lied too. Order cost £30.60 no prawn crackers and £3 delivery, joke!!

Although the food was good, the service was terrible. There were five people in our party and our individual orders were bought to the table and placed anywhere with no explanation for what the dishes were or who’s order had been delivered. We had to guess which dish was which and pass the dishes around ourselves. We asked for water for the table which never arrived and the main courses arrived the moment we had finished our starters. The waiter was hovering to remove the plates from the table while we were still eating and as soon as we’d finished our main course the table cloth was rolled up and removed causing us to hold our drinks and stop the conversation while this was done leaving us with a plastic table covering to finish our drinks on. We felt the need to get the bill and leave although we had only spent a little over an hour on our meal. The bill was slightly shocking although the items were priced on the menu of course, with a set meal for two, a glass of guiness and a half bottle of Sancer costing £100. The food was good but certainly not worth this amount and the service was atrocious. We won't be returning and would advise any potential customers to beware.

Absolutely shocking food soggy chips so i took them back as it was my last 5quid and got s assluted by the chef physically cuts and bruises

Necesitábamos un capricho después de quedarnos todo el tiempo por precauciones de Covid 19. Este lugar apareció en Just Eat como el único que hacía entregas en el momento que estábamos buscando.La comida estuvo bien. Mi curry mixto tenía mucha carne y langostinos en la salsa de curry chino habitual. El Chop Suey mixto de mi esposa también estaba bien.Nada malo y mucha comida. Podrían haberlo hecho con un poco más de sabor de alguna manera.

Ordered at 6.50 told it would be 30/45 minutes and still no food at 8.10 phoned to ask they tell us he left 15 minutes ago and won’t be long, phoned again at 8.30 to be told he’s had to take another order because he couldn’t find our address 😅. Food arrives at 8.45 COLD and not an even what we ordered! phoned again to tell them we want our money and the driver to collect the food (and his just eat bag that he left at our front door😂) very rude young girl on the phone being cheeky lying telling us she packed the food and knows it’s right! Never in my life experienced something so bad. Disgusting!

The chicken chow main was amazing, the chicken was so white, it was not slimy or over cooked! Best chow main I have had in a very long time! First time coming here, but will definitely be coming back!

Always a good takeaway from here. Never had a problem.

Bland food the lady couldn't explain the difference between each dish, egg fried rice was just fried rice, no Chinese spices in anything (chicken curry with mushrooms, chicken foo yong, egg fried rice, chips) asked them to make it spicy, nothing, asked how long it will take lady said 5 minutes, what ??? tasted more like a English meal, definitely wasted our money
