classic canton in Derby

Not good enough. Ordered food at 18.38 and it came up and suggested a delivery time of 19.38 which is acceptable on a Friday night. I had to call at 19.52 as food hadn't arrived and was told food was on it's way and delivery was delayed due to flooding and he couldn't get through (which is untrue) I then had to call 20.08 as still not arrived and was told they couldn't find my order and was i sure I'd ordered it with them (again a lie) I checked the just eat app and rang the number attached to my order and it was classic canton. I heard the guy talking to a lady and he said "I cant tell him that as I told him its was on its way half an hour ago) so he passed the phone on and they had now found my order and when I asked why it was 1 30 late she said they are just busy and didn't offer any kind of discount and did I just want to cancel my order!! Really very poor and not acceptable plus we had two children waiting for thier food. I wont be ordering with classic canton and am thinking of cancelling the just eat app as it seems to me that once the shops have your money they put you to the bottom of the pile so I'd rather pay cash on delivery and have the option of cancelling an order if it's late or being lied too. Order cost £30.60 no prawn crackers and £3 delivery, joke!!

My husband and I love this takeaway, the food is always delicious, red hot and packed with meat and fish not just vegetables. I can highly recommend this place as price and quality are spot on.

Lo usamos en el trabajo para un sitio cerca. Es estupendo. La comida es siempre deliciosa y caliente. Nunca tuve un problema con el pedido. Anillo a través y listo en 5 minutos. Sí que es de 5 minutos. Los precios son comparables a nivel local. No me puedo quejar. Recomiendo la carne crujiente en Salsa po kung!

We ordered a takeaway meal from classic canton last night. As always we over ordered, but even so the price was reasonable. The steamed chilli pork dumplings were great, as were both beef mains, the veg side and the Singapore vermicelli. We also got free veg spring rolls (crispy and tasty) and - nice touch - 2 fortune cookies. Everything was piping hot and delivered quickly. Very happy!

Had a take away from here delivers on time and large portions and was hot , can't say much more really chicken balls are a little greasy for my like but my daughter thought they was great mushroom chow main was lovely and chips are great

Absolutely shocking experience!! I called this take away tonight to order a chinese, after placing my order they explained to me my order would take 30 minutes to be delivered, 40 minutes later my order had still not arrived therefore I called them back, I spoke to the same woman I had spoken to when I placed my order to ask why I hadn't received my food, she then put the phone onto a man not even explaining who he was who then said someone else had called off my phone and ordered food to a place I had never even heard of, I explained my phone had not been used however he just said in reply 'we have it on record we can not deliver your order as you have ordered food to another address' annoyed I just accepted and said to forget it, however reflecting on what had happened I decided to call back and ask to speak to management, to which I found the restaurant was closed and they will not open again until Tuesday. I am guessing what had happened was they forgot my order and it was too late for them to arrange my order as they wanted to get home!!! Never will I ever order from here again! First and last time!!!!!!

I can't believe this hasn't been reviewed yet on here-although rest assured it's been reviewed positively on other sites! At work one night a group of us were starving and fancied chinese food.it was really easy to pre order via a well known takeaway food menu site and a short time later our food was ready...hot, tasty, neatly packed and served with a smile.the salt and pepper chips and chow meins are delicious-the Singapore one is quite spicy but tasty They do offers where you get prawn crackers for free etc if you spend over a certain amount To look at, if I'm totally honest it looks a little like a sauna due to its wooden slatted walls but please don't be put off - judge a takeaway by its good and hygiene ratings and for me, this place gets top marks for both (although the fish tank could maybe do with a clean) It's now our regular choice for takeout.try it!
