First time ordering from here. Really great food and lovely welcome in collection! We will be back for sure.

driver told me he was here so i went outside, he was not there and decided to go back to the shop, i then rang the shop and was told by the owner “she couldn’t understand me and it would be there soon” 20 more minutes then went by without the food in sight so we had to then ring again! we waited 45 minutes outside in the cold just for the food to turn up stone cold

Had a meal deal for 3 last night! It was still hot and was delicious! And well enough for 3 people or more! The only criticism is a would like the vegetarian spring rolls bigger and more filling! Apart from that perfect

Our favourite Chinese takeaway is our local in Chellaston. However whilst visiting my sister in chaddesden ,where we've tried many in this area to our disappointment we decided to try Evergreen Gardens in Chester Green. Absolutely beautiful food, great quality, great service, great value for money . Honestly the best Chinese we've ever had. If they deliver to Chellaston they're top of our list. The lady who delivered it was pleasant and very polite.

Absolutely banging! Asked for delivery at 7:30 and it was right on time. Hot and tasty, was going to save some for work but absolutely smashed the lot! Bosh. Delivery driver was a decent guy as well.

Bland! Ordered once before cause our favourite Chinese was closed. Was ok! Tried again and the whole meal was just so bland! All the same flavour! Ended up feeding it to the dog and she enjoyed it!

We ordered for the first and last time tonight, ordered our food obviously was a little later than told but expected as its the Bank Holiday. Our food came with one dish missing, we ordered sweet and sour pork and chicken cantonese style, 2 house special chowmeins, a dish called four seasons which was duck king prawn and pork in garlic sauce with vegetables, and crispy meat spring rolls, and a boiled rice, firstly I noticed one of the special wet chowmeins were missing so I phoned them back up, the lady said sorry and she would get one to us herself but we would have to pay as she needed to relisten to the order later, I said ok. So now some of our other food is going cold waiting for our missed dish, so I decided to have the mixed meat spring rolls whilst waiting, I can only describe this experience as if I was eating recooked food in extremely old oil, we chucked the other in the bin as wouldn't even offer it the dogs. So whilst waiting still I sampled the four seasons, I was groselly disappointed, if they had of dipped a nice that had been cutting garlic into the sauce it would of tasted more garlicky.absolutely no flavour what so ever! I've seriously sweat more out of one sweat gland when I've eaten good food. So now the rest of the foods almost gone cold and the delivery driver turns up with the missed order, he wants more than the menu price and to add extra insult he wants delivery charge also for their mistake. I explained they had missed it of the order and sent it out, he said well that's the price, I politely told him to return it and that this experience was not a good one. I then phoned the takeaway explaining what had happened and the lady said there was no delivery charge she had told the driver and he was on his way back, we waited a little while longer, so some of the food had been sat there for almost an hour but the driver didn't return. So mine and my mums meal was well and truly ruined! My mum microwaved hers as it was to cold and I ate mine luke warm, my mum didn't enjoy none of what she ate because of the total mess up, mine as said earlier was tastless and now almost cold, the only good thing I have to say is the prawn crackers were nice. But may I add we were all really hungry and still were very disappointed. Ours may of been a bad experience,but anyone with any taste buds will do better to avoid. Oh and to add extra insult their online menu is two years old, hence not recognising the pricing issue on the missing dish.totally messed our night up, and i can still taste the old oil 🤮

Took 1 hour and 10 min to arrive, one meal missing, meat spring rolls so greasy tasted awful threw them away they brought the missing meal and tried to charge for delivery again,discusted sent it back and menu 2 years out of date so cost more than expected overall not a good experience defiantly won't go there again6q

I ordered at 7.10pm over the phone the ladie was polite and told me it would be around 40 mins. nearly 2 hours later the food still hadnt come and the sauces were very watery. I called twice to see where my order was the first time was an hour after i ordered to which i was told it hadnt even been started yet. I just got told they were too busy...dissapointed with the whole experience to be fair. I felt sick i was that hungry by the time the food came and didnt enjoy it and to top it off the delivery driver didnt even appologise, was to bothered about taking the money!. i think this is a fair comment after what happened tonight hence the 1 star. i wont order from here again. expensive and not great quality.

Food quality was terrible, never had this problem from them before but tonight food was all overcooked. We threw most away. And that's on top of that it was a hour late on top of the long wait as it was.

Amazing service, best chinese takeaway you can find in Derby. Asked to add extra pancakes and in the end got a free them. On the package it said "Extra one free for you :)". In general amazing service and amazing communication, immediate responses to everything, definitely recommend for anyone who loves a good Chinese!

Dietary instructions not met. I asked for no onions and no chicken, and requested a substitute. Dish arrived full of onions and contained poultry. Nonetheless driver was lovely.

Delivery was great. Egg fried rice was nice. Chicken was okay. Salt and pepper chips was a big portion, but tasted of barely anything to me. To me they seemed a bit dry, weirdly sweet and just had a few scraps of onion etc at bottom.

The boiled rice was watery and the sweet and sour sauce tasted like vinegar

Some of the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had. Very fresh and perfectly cooked however it’s a 4 for service as it’s cash only. The woman behind the counter is lovely and polite. In the end I ordered through just eat for collection but annoying meant my order was £2 more as I had to pay what I assume is commission to just eat. I will be back but only when I have cash

Order was completely wrong, I ordered curry sauce and got something hideous instead!! I couldn’t even identify what I got delivered!!

Food quality and ingredients have been seriously cut back on. What was once a decent dish is now an absolute waste of money. Staff uninterested, any decent outfit would ask what they could do to make things better. These are not interested in customers thoughts but very interested in taking your money.

Really nice curry , perfectly cooked rice , delicious salt & pepper chicken … They got really really good food 👌 a little more spicy then what I love but still beautiful …. Ahh and they don’t add prom crackers… do u need to ask for them …

this place was very good: the staff working were extremely pleasant and of great service - even when i did not know what to order and felt confused, ha ha! the woman, especially, at the counter makes me want to go again, actually. i digress. the food was of amazing taste and value; the sweet and sour chicken was simply delectable and i felt very safe there. it might be expensive but it was worthy every penny!

Had a takeaway from Evergreen Garden tonight for the first time and can say it is without doubt the best Chinese takeaway we've ever had! 5 stars doesn't do it justice!

Awful. The smallest portion I have ever been served anywhere ever...... not even enough sweet and sour to cover the extremely tough chicken..... not to mention the super-salty beef and chicken wings which were basically deep fried from Iceland.... if you think this is good food you really should get out more.... never again......

the food took forever to come, to start it off it was cold so we had to warm it up and then when we sat to eat it was bland no flavour and isn’t worth the money at all i will not be recommending to anyone !

The worst food experience I have had the misfortune to order chicken was disgusting the curry was thick like full of flour the sweet and sour chicken was watery and soggy would not recommend this takeaway where have they got excellent reviews from £30 wasted
