Golden Oriental in Erewash

Necesitábamos un capricho después de quedarnos todo el tiempo por precauciones de Covid 19. Este lugar apareció en Just Eat como el único que hacía entregas en el momento que estábamos buscando.La comida estuvo bien. Mi curry mixto tenía mucha carne y langostinos en la salsa de curry chino habitual. El Chop Suey mixto de mi esposa también estaba bien.Nada malo y mucha comida. Podrían haberlo hecho con un poco más de sabor de alguna manera.

Quite possibly the worst takeaway I've ever had. Chewy chicken and dry food with no flavour except chilli to all three sauces ordered despite being completely different dishes. I would not recommend ordering from here. 08/11/19

Evite este lugar amigos, la comida era literalmente insípida, la carne de res en salsa de frijoles negros era como una tina de carne de gato en agua, las bolas de pollo agridulces estaban empapadas, las costillas estaban en una salsa roja brillante que nunca había sido barbacoa, pollo chow mien fue de nuevo como descuidado, simplemente no lo suficientemente bueno, la única razón por la que obtuvo una estrella porque tengo que darlo para escribir esto, podría seguir y seguir, pero estoy realmente perdido por las palabras y me han robado 30, si sigues sirviendo esa basura y todavía están abiertos en el futuro cercano, me sorprenderé. . . ¡repugnante! ! ! ! ! ! . . . Absolutely appalling service, food wasnt great - didn't know it was a 2 star clean till after I had ordered it. Rude lady on the phone, no customer service at all and said after I was phoning about my order which turned up near 2 hours said 'can I go now?' didn't apologize just kept fobbing me off stating they have sent the driver a text. Waste of money, don't bother and pay the extra somewhere else. Food portions were poor, very bland. Don't bother, save your money, unless you want to be spoken with no manners.

increased the delivery time to an hour and half, then was 30 minutes late with no communication, I had to phone them at 15 minutes past their already extended delivery time. Food was no where near good enough to justify the price - chips were from supermarket bag and over £5 for 4 spring rolls that were no where near fresh made, again from a packet -- really poor

Took over two hours for the food to arrive after ordering. When I called to query the woman on the phone hung up when I was half way through a sentence. Food was like warm and had little flavour, the pancake roll I ordered had obviously been sat in the bag for a long time as it had gone soggy and had fallen apart. Really disappointed.

Poor quality of food chips feel wet and not fresh prawn toast looks like meat paste in toast. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I WILL NOT be ordering from them again if I could give NO STARS I WOULD

Nunca los usé antes y ciertamente NUNCA los usará de nuevo.Pedimos a las 7:45 p.m., muriendo de hambre, esperando una hora o más para la entrega, pero estamos encantados de que nos den un horario de entrega de 9 p.m. Apenas 30 minutos pasaron antes de que el tiempo de entrega cambiara a las 9: 50 pm. Decidimos rodar con él y esperar a que llegara. Cuando el reloj se acercaba a las 9:47 pm, decidimos llamarlos para verificar que todo estuviera en orden.Bueno, es un buen trabajo que llamamos solo para ser recibido por un empleado desagradable que nos dijo: 'sí, serán otros 30 minutos. "Obviamente, no estábamos muy contentos con esto y cuando lo dijimos por teléfono, nos dijeron que estaban tan ocupados, que era inaceptable cuando ya nos habían devuelto una hora completa". Está fuera de servicio, basura servicio al cliente. Pedimos un reembolso parcial (arriesgado ya que Dios sabe lo que harán con nuestra comida después de esta solicitud) desafortunadamente, dijeron que solo pueden arrojar una botella gratis de coca cola, sonido, se nos estaba acabando la batidora, supongo.Absolutamente terrible y la comida también era vil cuando finalmente apareció. Tonto de nosotros aceptar el puntaje de revisión de solo comer sin revisar el de Trip Advisor también. Todo tiene sentido ahora, vaya. Se olvidó de mencionar el momento entre las llamadas donde nos colgaron el teléfono cuando dijimos que nos diera un segundo para decidir qué hacer, realmente escandaloso. Mi amiga tuvo que irse antes de que llegara la comida debido a que su niñera no pudo quedarse más tarde. No tome pedidos que no pueda entregar.

Ordered through just eat at 7pm expected delivery was 8pm... 8pm came and nothing so checked on the app delivery had been delayed to 9.05pm. At this point there had been no communication with us, we just happened to check the app and the information was on there. We was a little miffed as we was hungry but thought ok we will wait for our food. 9.05 arrived .. and yes you guessed it no food! Checked the app arrival time had changed to 9.30pm. So I rang the establishment to ask when we was to expect delivery. A lady answered the phone to just reply “we are busy” no apology, I went on to ask when we was to expect our food and she replied “when it’s ready” I can’t begin to explain the frustration and disappointment I felt with this response. When dealing and working with the public this isn’t acceptable. The phone call ended with her putting the phone down on me. Which I can see from previous reviews is a regular occurrence! I was no where near getting a refund or an apology and this is just unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Food was delicious, driver was polite and friendly, and did I mention the food was good?!

Comprueba que la hora de llegada de la aplicación ha cambiado a 9. 30 hs. Así que llamé al establecimiento para preguntar cuándo debíamos esperar la entrega. Una señora contestó el teléfono para simplemente responder "estamos ocupados" sin disculpas, pasé a preguntar cuándo debíamos esperar nuestra comida y ella respondió "cuando esté lista".No puedo comenzar a explicar la frustración y la decepción que sentí con esta respuesta. Cuando se trata y trabaja con el público, esto no es aceptable. La llamada telefónica terminó cuando ella me puso el teléfono.No estaba cerca de obtener un reembolso o una disculpa y esto es simplemente inaceptable. No volveré a ordenar desde aquí.

Food was nice but alike others who have reviewed; it arrived late. I have seen the comments back from the restaurant that the times are ‘estimated’ but I ordered almost over 2 hours in advance and selected the time for it to be late.

Food was great, the wait not so much.

Love Golden Oriental. Order was a bit late with no update but I suspect it may have been due to road closure and having to divert. Food great as usual.

The driver rang me multiple times to ask for directions. The food was ordered to a nursing home that has a massive sign outside the front with the name on it and he was still struggling to find it. The restaurant were very unhelpful, hanging up on me twice and not seeming to care about my negative experience. The food was cold when it arrived

From time of order, it was 1hr and 35 minutes to deliver. It should of been 1hr and 30 minutes, so I wasnt impressed when the order was late over the ridiculous delivery time that was given in the first place. Food was ok, but will not be ordering again with a waiting time like that

Was ok food, I tried to order chicken satays and ended up ordering a satay curry which I didn’t like but tbf I ordered the wrong one but could be a little more clear that chicken satay is a curry. Would order again.

Food delivered on time. Unfortunately the chips and chicken balls were very soggy. Disappointing

Food was tasteless never had a chow mein in separate containers or so tasteless before. Lemon sauce tasted like washing up liquid. Prawn toast was chewy not crispy prawn ball's were really soggy. Just horrible.

First time we have ordered from this place, the words i can say amazing and gorgeous tasting. Would highly recommend 👍😁

Half hour late, called and was told driver on the way. Didn't arrive for another 20 minutes. Disappointing as it is our favourite.

I was actually very disappointed after ordering early an stateing to be delievered at 9.30 but it said 9.40 i was like ok but never turned up till 10.10, i also left a note to say can the driver pls lightly tap on door as my little boy in bed he didnt he banged on my door woke my little boy up so had to settle him till i could eat which then delayed me even longer an eat cold food but not just that my order was wrong asked for beef n chicken curry only got beef but didnt ring back as was to late after getting my boy sleep an was starving, not happy at all.

I phoned them at 915 to ask where the order was only to be told the driver wasn’t back and it would be a further 10 mins. I’m still sat here, 20 mins later waiting.

Brilliant will deffo be ordering from here again :)

Ordered at 7pm, told it would be delivered by 8pm, restaurant then extended to 8.30pm. At 8.30pm the app showed as delivered but had not. Called restaurant who said it would be another 10 minutes. When it finally arrives at 8.50pm was told it was the first delivery. Appalling service and clearly someone was lying. Would not recommend when usually so good.

First time ordering here as my usual Chinese was closed. Was given a wait time of 70 minutes (this was annoying but fine, I accepted this) however food was then 15 minutes late on top of this and I had to ring to find out where my order was. Food quality was poor. Prawn toast was soggy. The batter on the sweet and sour chicken was soggy. The crispy beef in cantonese sauce was disappointing and lacking in flavour. Would not order here again.

First time we’ve ordered from this take away. Chinese isn’t usually a good we eat, however we couldn’t be bothered to cook. The pancakes and duck was delicious, whilst the noodles were plentiful and well mixed with other ingredients. Regretfully the egg friend rice was knots just rice - not a huge issue - it’s anfiller food to be fair. My favourite is usually crispy shredded beef, however they sold a dry variety which was wonderful flavoured and cooked ( inflow not an ugly dish ) looking like mummies fingers. We spent over £29 for recurrences and bottle of fizz and prawn crackers. Nothing bad to say about the takeaway at al.

I ended up fetching our food as waiting time was hour and half for delivery

The quality of the food was okay, unfortunately the mixed vegetables had approximately 4 vegetables in it which was okay, but I expected more. The worst thing about this, was that we paid £1.10 for mini vegetable spring rolls, but we only got 1 spring roll, which I think is appalling. The rest of the food was good though.

Nearly 2 hours after longest estimated time....20 mins after adjusted time.... marked as delivered 15 mins before it actually was! Rang restaurant all they could say was it's with the driver. No apology until prompted. Food was ok.

worst takeaway I’ve had for a long time. wish I had a bowl of cereal and saved myself £25. at least I got a free bottle of 19p cola to clean my toilets with.

Made order just after 6pm, requested delivery at 7:15, told it would be 7:25 and it turned up 7:45. 2x chips were soggy, although rest of food was nice. Won’t be coming back, £1.50 delivery charge??

The food from here is very nice, however the delivery time was terrible. It was listed as a 1hr wait, which was find. But it was 25 minutes late. It was also updated as delivered at 22.50pm at 11.05pm but didn’t arrive until 11.15pm.

Grilled Sirloin Steak was disgusting. I did not expect it in sauce and mushroom. Options should be given. It did not taste fresh but was even hard to chew. They have just got me off Beef. Yuk!!!
