I recently ordered from new marble Chinese, and I am beyond impressed! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors and prepared with the freshest ingredients. My favorites were the Kung Pao Chicken and the Shrimp Fried Rice, both cooked to perfection. What truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service. The delivery boy was exceptionally courteous and professional. He arrived promptly, even earlier than expected, with a big smile and a warm greeting. The food was piping hot. New marble has gained a loyal customer in me. Exceptional food and impeccable service – I highly recommend them to anyone craving Chinese cuisine!

Had two chicken chow mein and one large chips chips dry chow mein dry not vary nice

We had a delivery last Saturday from here, it's our go to Chinese been many, many times. I phoned the order through and got the same VERY Nice, Happy, Cheerful young lady on the other end, that never gets our order wrong. (this is why I have given the Atmosphere 5 stars, even tho it was a delivery). We have been all round the menu Always very nice food, and this takaway has never let us down food or delivery wise. Brilliant keep up the good work.

I had meal for 1 Monday night, I got food poisoning can take up to 10 days to get over it. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy

just had Singapore fried rice, ask for extra flavour ingredients and it was delicious 😋. and staff are smiling and pleasant.top notch.

Absolutely disgusting, got the order totally wrong and chose to argue with the customer. Ignorant staff. When order was redone, half we had was cold and had to be microwaved, the new stuff sent out had raw onion in the curry.

Ordered for the first time When ordering I made a mistake and phoned back with in 3 mins to change order (3 in 1 rice chips) to (3 in 1 rice and chow mein) to be told no problem I asked if I could have it without beansprouts and onions, when the order arrived it did have both of these I phoned back to see if it could be changed to be asked if I could pick them out and that it was because I changed my mind even tho I had ordered something different before I phoned back, I asked for it to be replaced which the answer was no, I asked for a partial refund which was no, she said that she would talk to the owner/manager and get back to me, phoned back 5 mins later and said it had been over a hour and if we had already started eating to which I replied quite harshly at this point everything else was getting cold as I thought this would be what they say so we hadn't touch any of the meal and that it had only been 35 mins from placing the ordered to receiving it and that it's was fine and I'd bring the whole lot back and get a refund to which she replied 'have you finished I don't get paid enough to be spoke to like that' but I wasn't going to be made out to be a liar, she said it wasn't my fault and that she understands that's what I had ordered and that if I wanted a fresh one it would have to come out of her pocket and I'd have to go fetch it so I said that's ridiculous and asked to speak to the manager and she replied that she was the manager because no-one spoke English, feeling really frustrated with the whole situation all the food was swimming in grease and the chicken nuggets looked like they had been deep fat fried over and over, the Crispy beef was sloppy and tasted like pure vingar overall really unhappy but lesson learnt I'd avoid at all cost makes sense to why they most likely aren't on any of the just eat/uber sites! Just wanted a refund for the awful food

Came here after being recommended we ordered our food fresh , cost over £30 , to say that once we got home we were disappointed is a understatement everything was over cooked the beef in our chow mien was burnt, the satay chicken was dry and very tough, our vegetables spring rolls were awful,the only part of our meal that tasted okay was the chicken yuk sung and that was only a 3 quarter portion that didn’t fill the container , sadly that is the last time that I use new marble, and I will not recommend them, there are tastier better value Chinese within a mile especially the one at Kirk Hallam,

Had food from here a couple of weeks back and it's gone down hill a bit used to be 1 of the best. Every thing tasted like it had been cooked in pure salt. Such a shame has iv been ordering from here for years.

Been coming here for years, best curry sauce and chips from a Chinese I’ve ever had, bang on.

We order from here every week. Today the food turned up and the portion of chips was SO small it wasn't even enough for one person. The mistake wasn't the issue.... The issue was that when we phoned up to say we thought there'd been a mistake the girl on the telephone passed the message on and could hear a Chinese man (presumably the cook / owner) literally screaming down the phone. We couldn't understand what was being said but it was clearly very aggressive. The girl then told us that the portion was correct and that they would not offer a replacement. For reference the bag of chips was twice the size of a pot of parmasan cheese. IN FUTURE WE WILL ORDER FROM CHINA RED AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered tonight as my children really wanted a Chinese as the one we normally go to is closed. Wish I said no, the sweet and sour look like it was a day old (congealed) the onion rings were all burnt the pork balls were tiny pieces of pork in more like yorksire pudding (very rubbery)and the spare ribs were like they had been cut. Poor quality, little to no meat in dishes. Noodles were off and tasted like burnt metal from the wok. Go to marble on Church street if you want a good Chinese.

Regular chips is less than half than the amount of the others in the area and cost a lot more . Girl on phone couldn’t care less . won’t be returning

Disgusting attitude of the woman answering the phone, barely a handful of chips which are more expensive here than anywhere in the area. Never coming back. Go to Marble on Church St instead, much better food, attitude and prices.

Sent wrong order tried to blame us for her not hearing the order correctly, no offer to rectify the problem and it was our fault according to them. Sent one of thier most expensive items instead of what we ordered too will not be ordering again worse customer service i have ever experienced!!

We go here often we have never had any problems wonderfull food, great selection on the menu and wonderfull staff. They are very reliable when they deliver. I strongly reccomend the takeaway its very worth it. Great job.

We don't do takeaway very often but always went to New Marble and had a decent meal as far as takeaway food goes, service has always been good and quick. However we have been going even less, feeling that the quality is not what it used to be and our last experience will be just that. Tasteless chicken, tough beef and in gloopy sauces that are best not even looked at, once cold, I really don't want to know I have eaten that gelatinous mixture. Even the rice was sticky and soft.

Generally pretty good. Box meals are good value.

Whenever I need a Chinese take away I ring up the New Marble. Delivery is within the hour, food hot and reasonably priced. Sweet and sour chicken is brilliant. Great service well done guys

I've used this takeaway for nearly 8 years always been happy with what I've brought, food is always piping hot delivery is quick the girl on the phone is always polite would definitely recommend

Good quality takeaway good staff and good speed of delivery generally good but often chilli and sweet and sour dishes dead hit and miss sometimes tastes of pure vinegar

I have been using New Marble now for 3 years and food always brilliant. Quick delivery times too. We ordered for 8 of us the other night. Came to £34 we got free spare ribs and 10% off our next order. Lovely Chinese. Best in town.

We have been going here for years but over recent months the food has deteriorated. I ordered a vegetarian kung poo that arrived watery and without cashew nuts ( apparently the chef puts them in the meat dishes but not the vegetarian version! ). My husband was also disappointed with his meal. Having said that delivery is usually quite quick and staff are always friendly but unfortunately we won't be going back.

If its a Chinese meal you are looking for give the New Marble a try and you wont be disappointed Good food at a reasonable price

We have a takeaway from The New Marble every Wednesday evening without fail. The food is impeccable, great variety of flavours, always hot, and the staff could not be more polite and friendly. The delivery is incredibly fast, usually within 15-20 mins. We would definitely recommend this place to any Chinese food lovers!

Having sampled the crispy shredded beef from here a few years back, I have returned occasionally as it was particularly good. Must have changed hands in the past year or two as the one I got on Saturday was pathetic. The tub was only half full and it was tasteless - would have returned it but I'd travelled some distance. Could have got a frozen meal version from Tesco down the road with double the amount, twice as tasty, for half the cost. This experience was not even salvaged by the curry bought with it which was very average.

March 2014 Not bad - Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken was ok but the sauce was like water and tasteless. Would I buy from there again - yes, only after trying all the other options in the area first November 2014 Revisited last Thursday night. Sweet and sour sauce was like jelly and still tasteless. Chicken was flat and tough, almost as though someone had used a steak tenderiser on it but gone mad until it was like a pancake. Chips were what now appears to be the standard out of a bag fried variety

We ordered our meal, sweet & sour chicken, egg fried rice, chips,beef curry triple crown. Well we was very disappointed to say the least, chicken dish was not great, very soggy, not hot... Chips was very greasy soggy, curry was disgusting a thick powdery taste.... Rang complained but some girl just said would talk to manager when came back. Waited n waited.... In the end just got half refund .... Terrible

New Marble is our favourite Chinese take out in Ilkeston and we order from here once every couple of months on average. We know what we like and we like what we know and our usual is always cooked perfectly and the staff are very friendly and polite. I'll not go anywhere else for my Chinese take out and when new leaflets are dropped through my letter box they immediately go into the recycling bin. I only wish they offered more by the way of seafood though!!! That's my only criticism of this place!!

Ordered chicken fried rice x 2. Got all the way home to find chicken noodles. Telephoned to be told it was their fault. The woman laughed and said oh I've done it again. Then told us she couldn't replace our chips and curry, even though they would be cold by the time we got the new stuff. My fella took it back and they soon replaced the lot! Never again.

This takeaway has gone down hill since i first used them.There is far too many cooks in the kitchen,the sauce is more like jelly & don't smell very nice & don't rate the rest of the food anymore.
