Food was alright, don't understand why they don't accept card payment, when their website says it does. Just discovered they will take cards if you order on line. Still doesn't make sense that you cannot pay with card when you pick it up.

A bit of disappointment. Had family over we have risk and order from here for the first time. Order of £60.00 was not the best. Half of Sheaded duck was dry like was few days old and repeated. Duck in plum sauce was more like duck in lemon as was clear not red and lasted lemony. Salt and pepper chips were so salt and spicy we could not eat it. Crispy beef in chilly sauce was dry. Over all I don't think I will be back.

Absolutely disgusting, you need reporting Ordered beef curry, first mouthful I had to take it out, second piece of meet had to take it out it was just fat . Fed it to the fish in the canal but I would imagine they spat it out We will never return

Just had a beef curry.the beef was mostly fat and the curry fairly tasteless.my friends separate curry was the same.will not be going there again..

Had a curry but no curry sauce it was horble the power dragon is a lot better 👌 5 stars better

Wonderful local Chinese. The only one that I will use. Always happy with their food and have never been disappointed.

Food never arrived phoned them and they said could you just wait another half an hour because we are busy, understand that but if you’re really that busy just let us know instead of keep waiting and waiting or just don’t accept anymore orders. It ruined the night as we have had to have a sandwich and go to bed, it’s just a let down.

Ordered at the counter, told it’d be 30 min which was fine, however after waiting 40 mins we were informed they’d run out of fried rice!! A Chinese running out of fried rice??? Asked to see the manager but was told they don’t speak English…. However all the time we were waiting there was plenty of delivery orders flying out….. a very poor show prioritising the delivery side… don’t bother ordering as we won’t go here again

I had to wait just under 90 minutes for my food and when the food arrived it was cold and also the wrong food was also delivered. Very poor and would not recommend to anyone

Sunny house has been hit and miss over the years. Sometimes you order and it comes quickly, other times it comes an hour to two hours late I cancelled my order tonight when it hadn't shown up after two hours and being told on the phone it would be another 30 minutes (I was told an hour when I ordered). They have no system in place for coping with busy times and managing capacity. I'll avoid in future, it isn't worth the hassle (or the waiting) ☹️

Ordering with Sunny house is hit and miss as they have no capacity to manage the volume of orders taken. I've ordered a few times and there is usually a long wait but tonight I phoned up after two hours and ended up cancelling the order when they told me it would be another half an hour (why would you promise delivery within the hour but take two and a half?) They really need to be upfront about wait times with their customers while they have some left.

I tried to order and they hung up on me straight away. When I got food the other week it had hairs in and even a toenail. I am absolutely disgusted. Never going again.

Arrived quickly and piping hot! Lovely chinese and the food was very good value for money, will definitely visit again!

The only Chinese we will order from, always delicious and great value and always fast delivery. Our order this evening was delivered within 20 mins of ordering!

If I could give it zero I would. Had a meal delivered tonight and there were small shavings of metal in the food. Phoned them and spoke to a child to be told it was from their dishwasher and they wouldn't be refunding anything. Luckily ordered through just eat so I've sent them pictures. Steer clear of this place unless you want a sliced up mouth.

Really really nice takeway after trying another Chinese down the road that wasn't very nice this was a superb meal and I will he heading back to try more in the future! Thankyou 😊

Just had the worst take out ever.

Usually very good food but lately and especially tonight they have been accepting orders and then not fulfilling them. For example I made an order at 9.14pm and I Usually allow an hour as I understand it can be busy but I didnt even get my food. Trying to get in contact and everytime all I got was "the message box is full". Not happy with this service if you're busy you shouldn't be accepting more orders!

Ordered food for 2200 hours after a long day travelling back from Belgium. I was home before 2130, food was cold and hidden under the car as no one was home. I called to complain. No refund discount or offer to recook as food was cold. Words can not explain my disappointment right now

My partner got himself a Chinese last night but didn't open his beef chow mein. I opened it, had literally 3 mouthfuls and have been being sick/on the toilet since 7am. I feel awful.

Absolutely shocking after an hour and half wait I ring up to see how long it will be and a child answers the phone and tells me it’ll be another 30 minutes. After another 45 minute wait I then get a phone call from the child asking if I want to pick it up! In total it took 2 and a half hours to arrive. And it’s not like it was worth the wait! I’d of rather ate chips that had been p!$$ed on they would of tasted nicer!

3 times now have ordered over the internet and it’s excepted order and money but the place isn’t open. Sat here waiting for what!

Ordered from here 3 times recently, went on Christmas eve walked in and placed order, we had our meals withing 20mins. Also placed order on just eat, again faster then said delivery and driver very friendly. This is out new favourite take away place

Poor service. Ordered with an 1hour wait, after 1hr 20 mins was told the order would be with us within 30 minutes. After 2hrs was advised to either collect or wait another 20 minutes.

Terrible service, ordered online then 1 hour later received a text to say order was cancelled, called and a child answered the phone and advised they are to busy so not delivering to certain areas, joke. Definitely would not recommend them.

Very nice food, friendly staff in-house plus delivery drivers. Normally no problems however delivery is getting longer so will collect in future. Didn't receive free item either. Reply, yes I did order free item via your website. I have a screenshot of the order.

Ordered through their website and didn't receive confirmation of order so gave them a call. The money had been taken yet they said they didn't have the order.....then they found it, said I would have to wait along time for delivery so decided to cancel the order. Struggling to get the money back now

Have used this take away for years - first time back in a while (may have changed hands?) but it has gone downhill. Got order home and it was nothing like what we ordered - when we rang up we were told to call back in 30 mins as they were too busy (a child answered the phone). Told them the order was wrong and got interrogated about what we had ordered, before being told we would have to make the 40 min round trip back to them for a replacement. When I said this was not possible they said OK and ended the call. Did not offer to replace anything despite making deliveries. Whilst we were in there waiting for the order the delivery driver came in about three times without a mask on and the person taking the orders was wearing a mask pulled down over her face - it did not feel too safe. Just so disappointed that this was a special treat for a birthday and it was completely the wrong meal which ruined the evening - would avoid in future.

Normal Chinese was closed so tried Sunny House. Literally couldn't fault it, best Chinese I've had in years. Had to wait a while for delivery but well worth it. Food was red hot on arrival too. Will be ordering again.

Vile and greasy Took 110 minutes to deliver and the food was double cooked but somehow cold. Ordered steak received beef rib. Avoid.

Do not eat here it ruined my birthday. Ordered tofu and got given chicken. No apology and said they were too busy to fix it so ended up making some Toast for dinner. Disgusting place and service never again

We really liked the sweet & sour chicken balls, however found the other main dishes of a curry and a satay a little bland for our taste.

I was told 15 minutes for pick up of food or 45 minutes for delivery. Went to pick up after 15 minutes. 1 person waiting when I got there. Delivery man returned and went out 3 times while I waited. From what he said his customers were far from happy. 1 prospective customer walked out when he heard this. My order "appeared" an hour after order was taken. No compensation was offered other than the front of house saying she was sorry for the wait. 1 of my meals had been missed off. Obviously I will not be going back.

You order but they give you a cheaper one. Check your meal when handed to you.king prawn curry 4 prawns. Won't be going back

The worst ever. So you give our order to someone else despite my husband and son saying it's our order. You expect us to have the same food that was returned when we told you not good enough to clearly give us reheated food. After over an hour of waiting and a good amount of money spent. No discount offered for your error. We will not return again. Shame you used to be one of the best

Not as good as it once was. This place was the greatest Chinese around, but is now meh..

The food is so good! We really enjoy it. Shame that they don't take card payments.. this means we have to walk to a cash machine before going to get our food as they also don't deliver. Still worth the diversion though.

The food was terrible the worst I ever tasted and it was late to be delivered and the delivery driver called me several times as she was lost. Complete waste of money, I do not recommend you order from this takeaway!!

When I place order at 19.10 giving a delivery request of 20.30 I believe it is sufficient time to receive a prompt delivery irrespective of it being a busy night. Receiving food 35mins late is frustrating & makes the requested delivery time a pointless exercise. Food was hot upon receipt but I would describe as average. Long Eaton and surronding areas has a number of Chinese takeaways which are distinctly average. SUNNY House on this occasion was no different.

The whole order Was rubbish!!! Cold tasteless and dry. They didn't send any sauce for the duck and the noodles were burnt

Have been eating from here for 7 years and the food is always spot on, I don't order from any other Chinese takeaway. Food always delivered piping hot and freshly cooked and delivery always on time! The salt baked fish and sweet chilli shredded chicken are my faves!

Delivery within 1/2 hour but food not good. Ordered chicken weeks with Szechuan sauce but came with satay sauce. Ordered Diet Coke as diabetic but got regular Coke so could not drink. Won't be ordering again

Starters where ok Chicken was of very poor quality, tasteless and watery, in both the Cantonese style chicken and special chow main.

Lovely food but took ages and only got 8 chicken balls

I ordered the other day and food was really good. Today was disappointing. There was not a single cashewnut in my fried bean curd with cashewnuts and the sweet and sour sauce was pretty tasteless. Disappointed.

Super! I ordered some tofu (and think this is the only Chinese in the area that does it). Lovely amount of tofu, well cooked and lots of cashewnuts and big serving. The spare ribs in honey were also well received. Thank you!

Several Chicken balls were raw and the rice was cold and slimey

Our family's favourite local take away, my dad was so excited when I told him they deliver. Food was delivered quickly and was delicious!

To be honest I am hoping for a refund as the food was DISGUSTING! Some was over cooked and some under, which gave me a bad stomach all the day after. Not impressed and was so expensive! I'm not from around here, I'm from the city and I pay half of what I paid for better quality and no food poisoning.

Take away was good: however Cantonese king prawns had become soggy in sauce, suggest having them separate from the sauce so customer can add them later.

The food was nearly cold. The meal however tasted fine

There was no flavour to the rice whatsoever and felt like it had been cooked too long as it was starchy. The duck meat was okay except the ribs. They were all fatty and hardly any meat on them with little flavour also. We didn't realise they came lightly battered and it really didn't improve them. Don't think we will be going here again.
