The Dynasty in Daventry

The person who served us were rude and fierce. My family and children got scared from this place . Food were average . We staff were shouting at each other backstage. It was a really noisy and discomfort experience.

The women who worked there on the night were extremely rude to us. My kids and family members got scared. She was swearing and shouted at her staff. She then was arguing with a man. Basically, she was verbally fighting everyone. It was the most disappointing meal we could ever have asked for. Will never go back again even if it's free. No matter how good the food was. It won't make any differences. The worst service ever.

Had another great meal out here. Their fish really is something special: their signature dover sole dish is pricey but I've never had anything like it anywhere else. They've also now got a really good new house wine NZ sauvignon at a bargain price.

We have eaten several times in the restaurant over the last few years, along with several take-aways too. Last night we ate in and asked for the buffet menu. We weren’t disappointed. Food was very tasty and freshly prepared, portion sizes just right, service very attentive. What more can you ask for! Thank you The Dynasty for being consistently good.

We had an amazing takeaway…. Set meal. Lovely staff… quick and efficient and the food was lovely. We would recommend them and will use them again . Many thanks….🍽️

As a Valentine’s Day treat my family of six ordered 9 takeaway dishes. Ranging from sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style to King Prawn chow mein everything was fresh and authentic with generous size portions. I moved to the area from a large city, so finding this gem of a restaurant not far from home is a treat. I couldn’t recommend the staff and food more highly.

I would rate this restaurant minus 1 if possible. The staff are extremely rude and treat you like you are an inconvenience to their planned evening. You are spoken to like a naughty child if you dare to order something from the menu that hasn't been delivered that day so not so much of the freshly cooked, more pre delivered food maybe. Quite honesty I would advise you to walk across the road to the other chinese takeaway or try your luck at the coop. At least you will have been treated better and not be subjected to a tub of very average food. Terrible. And other people have said the same......

Visited here for a midweek dinner and had the weekday special menu. This is a set price for as much food as you like, which is freshly cooked and delivered to your table. Servers were efficient and friendly, one lady slightly abrupt but she had a good character about her and did not come across as rude. All food was delicious and great portions, they really did not mind how much you ordered as long as no wastage! All really tasty and hot! Recommend king prawns in honey and lemon! Nice relaxed atmosphere, lots of road noise but this was soon absorbed when the restaurant was full. Would recommend to visit! Great for couples and families, even young children were well catered for!

Called to place a takeaway order, very abruptly answered the phone repeatedly interrupted whilst trying to place an order. “What do you want” & “listen” we’re some o the responses I received during the very short call. Decided against my order in the end. New front of house required Will definitely not use again

Decided to come here for a belated Birthday meal on Sunday at 5pm. Thought we had booked for the Buffet all you can eat but alas, we were too late and was the main menu. Very attentive lady serving us, sadly because we were the only ones in the Restaurant we felt like we were being watched all of the time. Food was fantastic although a little pricey (£90 for 3 of us!)

On our first visit in June, when staying in Crick, a local recommended this as the best Chinese restaurant in the area. We were not disappointed. When next planning a trip to this area, up from London, the first thing on our minds was enjoying a meal at The Dynasty. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal. Certainly ranks as one of the best Chinese restaurants we have ever eaten at. The host and staff no welcoming and helpful when choosing our food. Readily allowed us to swap a dish from another set menu as my wife is allergic to prawns. Ambiance is warm and friendly and comfortable. The food ingredients are fresh and of high quality and the dishes deliciously tasty. In fact memorable so. If you really like Chinese restaurant food don't miss a chance to book a table and give yourself a treat. Towards the end of our meal the owner came over and chatted to us showing genuine interest in how we enjoyed our dining experience. It will certainly be at the top of our itinerary when next travelling up to the midlands. By the way the takeaway fish and chip shop around the corner is pretty awesome too!

I visit here often and it has a good but limited selection of Chinese food. Very clean and tidy. Nice relaxing music in the background.

At the end of a long working week and with a weekend of diy ahead of us we headed to the Dynasty in Long Buckby. We were surprised that the restaurant was quiet ( we didn’t expect to be able get a table) but a steady stream of take away collections was going on all evening. Meal was great. We opted for the fairly traditional crispy duck to start. We saw another table having the house sharing platter - looked good. Followed by chilli salt and pepper prawns and crispy chilli beef with carrots and some rice, veg and bean sprouts . Rounded off with a childhood favourite - banana fritters! It was a superb meal and good service. Very impressive vegetarian menu as well. We will certainly return!

WAS RECOMMENDED THIS AS TAKEAWAYWE ORDERED CHINESE CHICKEN CURRY HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR MUSHROOMS IN CURRYPANG CHOU CHICKEN WITH EGG FRIED RICEAND FOR ME VEG CHOW MEIN WITH LEMON CHICKEN.SIDES OF CHIPS PRAWN CRACKERS AND SEAWEEDCOST £37.. persond who took order sounded really fed up a d was abrupt.. we carried on regardless..Food arrived very quickly ... del driver said their not busy...Ok so food wise i have never had such a bland tasteless chowmein in my life.. the lemon chicken was dried up and had very little sauce with it and sat on whilted lettuce.. sons pang chou chicken ..never seen one look like this before..he could only eat half wasnt nice at all.. hubbies curry was ok but chips tasted reheated ... best thing about meals crispy seaweed and prawn crackers..So totally gutted as most of food went in bin. Totally disappointed and would not under a y circumatances order again recommend or visit..i work hard for my money and this was a weekend treat ....

Went for the all you can eat sunday buffet. The food was not replenished, what was there was poor. It was like picking over someone elses leftover takeaway. Never again. We were shocked.

We had moved to a new area and decided to order a takeaway and the only place delivering was the Dynasty, when we place the order the woman on the phone sounded very angry and abrupt and rude no manners and I struggled to get a word in.The food itself was very bland it didn’t taste horrible just of nothing and the only recommendation I could give to this place was the courteous delivery driver.If you want a good takeaway don’t go here they are very sub standard!!!

I recently came here with my parents and was really impressed with the vegan and vegetarian options. I asked the waiter if the pancakes that came with the vegetarian “duck” were vegan and he instantly knew they weren’t. It’s a refreshing change to have staff know the menu so thoroughly, as well as being aware of various dietary requirements. Would recommend!

Good service, good authentic food though the decor is a little dated, would recommend to anyone who enjoys Chinese food, the grilled dumplings were particularly good.

Went with a group of friends last night, and I can honestly say it was the best Chinese food I have ever had! We chose from the 'all you can eat' menu and had so many amazing dishes...I ate and ate and ate!! They cater extremely well for everyone with different tastes and dietary requirements. Service was brilliant, 'Mrs Lee' was a great laugh, and everyone had a wonderful time. I cannot fault anything about this place, I will definitely be going back and taking more friends, and I would recommend The Dynasty to everyone!

8 of us went to eat, including 2 vegetarians. We ordered many vegetarian and many meat dishes and all were excellent. The restaurant was packed and the staff were working extremely hard but where always available when needed. My son, a great carnivore, even ate the vegetarian food, the tofu etc and fake chicken and said he loved it !!! We had a lovely meal, in lovely company, with great food and great staff. We will be back again !!!

Really good food and friendly staff. Chicken satay and duck both amazing. Would recommend, you can also take away!

There were 10 of us at this family get-together on Mothers Day, my wife and I had never been here before so we were happy to be led. Those in the know ignore the a la carte menu that runs from £8 ish to £28 for lobster.

The Dynasty is a bit of a surprise: much better than your standard Chinese restaurant and takeaway. They do all the standard stuff you’d expect, but also some really good fish and seafood dishes. Certainly the best restaurant in Long Buckby and probably for some distance.

Called in and ordered a takeaway. The food was very disappointed. Spare ribs were all fat, chicken balls soggy and as for the noddles, well just let’s say won’t be returning.

Enjoyed an impromptu evening meal as a friend had recommended this Chinese that day. Crispy duck was lovely but the cucumber & spring onion portions were a bit mean although I'm sure if we'd asked they'd have provided more. We both had king prawn dishes, mine being with peppers & black bean sauce...fabulous! The real test is the quality of the prawns...exceptional. The only negative I have is the decor is very dated & in desperate need of a refurb.

Siempre estamos muy impresionados con la comida de la dinastía. Todo es siempre fresco y sabroso pero no grasienta o como algunos restaurantes chinos bastante pesado.

Utilizamos la dinastía para llevar un poco, pero fuimos en un cambio. Nuestro hijo ama el chow mein aquí y nos encanta casi todo el menú. El servicio siempre es genial, la comida y los niños de bienvenida es increíble.

Llevar a la dinastía es tan fácil con muy poco tiempo de espera para disfrutar de una buena comida. El menú tiene un montón de opciones y una buena selección para vegetarianos. La sala de estar es precioso, muy espaciosas y bien decoradas. Vine aquí para un curry verde tailandés con mi madre y nos lo pasamos de maravilla. El personal es agradable y servicial, y todo el lugar es limpio y acogedor.

Me quedé bastante decepcionado con mi reciente visita a conseguir una comida para llevar. La comida estaba fría por vez llegué a casa y yo sólo vive en West Haddon, también me pareció que el precio de lo que es, es posible que sea un poco caro.

El gran pueblo restaurante chino - está convenientemente situado en el centro del pueblo. La comida suele ser bastante completa y siempre buena y amable servicio. Como es habitual en este tipo de negocios - llevar el servicio también.

Desde aquí nos comer regularmente, usuallt llevar pero recientemente para una ocasión especial que estuvimos allí como parte de un gran grupo incluye varios niños pequeños, el equipo había muy bueno con los niños, jugaba con ellos y no tratar de silencio, como algunos lugares, era simplemente nosotros así que nadie que molestar de todos modos. La comida como siempre muy buena y abundante, había alrededor de 15 de nosotros, así que tuvimos que coger mucho listo para cada curso y bien dirigido.

Estuve en este restaurante con mi hija anoche. No había estado allí por algunos años, y en el pasado había sido uno de mis restaurantes favoritos.

Buena comida, siempre a tiempo, siempre caliente, siempre buena. Comimos allí como una familia en el restaurante, que también utilizar su servicio de comida para llevar cuando queremos comer en casa. Si no está en el menú, pedir, siempre preparado todo lo que pedimos.

I used to rate this place but the takeaways have got worse and worse. Tonight it turned up stone cold and to be honest, even when reheated I wouldn't bother again. Will be going elsewhere. Shame really

Five of us ate here recently.Good food, good service and reasonably priced.Most dishes were spot on, although a couple should have had a little more "heat" in our opinion.Will go back.
