Excellent Chinese we went on recommendations on trip advisor and we wernt disappointed. Unless you are really hungry 1 portion of chips between 2 is more than enough. Complimentary prawn crackers as well. We had chicken chow mein and chicken balls with curry sauce rather than sweet and sour. We were staying at Haven side this was about 5-10 mins drive away.

We are on holiday in the area and fancied a Chinese, we went here based on a locals recommendation. Between 2 of us we ordered a set meal for 1 which came with 2 spring rolls, 8 chicken balls, egg fried rice and a meat dish (I had crispy shredded beef), Plus a quarter duck & pancakes, and a house special chow mein, total spend around £29. Collection within 20 minutes, payment via cash. One big bag of Chinese Food incoming! Very impressed, huge portions, super tasty food. We will use again if in the area.

Amazing food at excellent prices! Served fast, and not a long wait for the food. Crispy beef strips were delicious and very crispy. Portions are massive! We went back twice!

Tried to phone but no answer so went to the shop. Very busy! Oldish couple ordering a large order and when told it would be an hour they looked aghast! Can't wait that long, they said and left.They must have got mixed up with fast food restaurant! Ordered my food and went back in an hour to collect. There was stacks of food and it was so tasty. Recommended!

De Bao Chinese in Drummond Rd, Skegness. I have seen some good reviews for this place and I thought it was going to be great because it’s obviously busy - we had to wait 1hr 30mins for our order which we collected on at 8pm on a Friday night. Portion sizes were good and prices not bad but overall everything tasted very oily - like cooking oil as a lingering taste, especially the chips (very big portion) and the noodles- which definitely had an oily aftertaste and left you with that oily film in your mouth and lips. Nothing was special - all pretty standard taste and definitely not worth the wait. I’ll not use them again as there are definitely better Chinese takeaways in Skegness!

Had looked for recommendations for Chinese takeaway for our recent holiday and De Bao came up top. It didn’t disappoint. Ordered at the takeaway and it was ready in about 10 minutes. Huge portions particularly the chips. We had a chicken foo yung and it was huge, lots of chicken and onions in it, special sweet noodle box which was full to the brim of mixed meat and large prawns and noodles and very tasty with a sweet chilli sauce, chips and egg friend rice. Also had gravy and satay sauce. Cash only and was just over £23

Food delivered. I have tried many Chinese takeaways and there is always that little something missing that stops me giving a full 5 stars. I have finally found my 5 star in the De Bao and its right on my doorstep. My phone was on constant speed dial for over half hour before my phone was answered and it had only just opened up; that's always a good sign. My order, from left to right was Sweet n Sour Spare Ribs, Honey & Chilli King Prawn in batter and Singapore Style Chow Mein. The obligatory bag of chips with curry sauce dip complete the meal. Don't be fooled by those dark ribs; they are slightly crispy on the outer edge but beautifully soft iside. The sweet n sour sauce has to be home made. Its not that thick orangey-red stuff you usually get, this sauce is light, delicately spiced and slightly more sour than sweet, but its difficult to tell because the flavour changes then changes back again. Its a merry-go-round on the taste buds. The chow mein comprised of perfectly cooked noodles, veg, various meats and prawns and was deliciously flavoured. And finally those prawns. Wow! They are very different. Cooked in a thin batter and bathed in a honey and hot spicy sauce. This was my perfect meal and believe me, I am very fussy. I love the heat from this meal. Not too much, but may be a little too warm for some. If you aren't keen on heat or spices choose from the menu carefully. I have marked 'Atmosphere' as a 5 because I couldn't remove it. I used a delivery service so used the mark for the guy that delivered. He was very friendly and helpful.

Wanting a decent Chinese takeaway after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to go here. We ordered a set meal and waited approximately 15 minutes for it, but, they were busy. The establishment seemed very popular with lots of customers, which was good to see. We had spring rolls, which was not the spring rolls we expected. They were thin and crispy with not a lot inside them, but surprisingly nice. Chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce was nice, spicy and hot. The chicken Thai curry was lovely, with an after kick, although my partner didn't like the chicken, he thought it was undercooked. I scoffed all mine. The egg fried rice was nice. The free prawn crackers were nice and fresh and a welcome bonus! Initially we was going to order an extra main meal, but, was glad we didn't as there was ample for two people. Total cost £12. I would definitely return to this establishment and recommend it to others, especially if you like Thai food.

Only source of Thai food in Skegness. We love the chicken massaman - huge portions and very tasty; with a portion of rice, enough for two people. Efficient delivery, although Friday nights can be busy (have patience when phoning in), so you may have to wait. We have not tried weekends. Our weekly treat!

I normally don't expect much from these takeaway places, just generous portions and the same dishes. I went to De Bao because it was recommended to be the best in Skegness. Certainly was the most expensive. The cashew nuts chicken was tasteless, so were the fried noodles. And, with their prices, an extra spoonful in the container wouldn't harm. Leave the quality, not even the quantity in this case! The lady was quite rude; I was not expecting a 5 stars service anyway; they accept only cash.

We just had another meal from deboa and as usual it was on time the food is always hot and portion sizes are better than other ones also the food is tasty and we always stick to this one now .

Just had a meal delivery for the first time tonight and will definitely be ordering from them again,tried quite a few in the area and this one is the best so far good portions,food was hot and well cooked came on time really enjoyed it.

Ordered for collection in these Covid times. Compared with establishments in Bedfordshire where we lived previously, the portion sizes were at least 20 bigger, which was a big plus. However, the dishes we tried were a bit on the bland side. In particular, Beef in Black Bean Sauce should delivered bit of a kick - and sadly, it disappointed. We will go back again, as the food was well cooked.

I bought a chinese takeaway from De Boa this evening. The food is always reasonably good. But the chinese lady behind the counter is downright rude to customers. She has the most appalling unfriendly attitude. I ordered a takeaway the other week to be delivered and when I rang to ask where it was after an unreasonable delay I had the phone slammed down on me. Her attitude towards me this evening was unacceptable.

Food is excellent. Waiting time never ending and dont always get correct order. The owner who serves and takes orders is not a happy fourth coming person . No smiles no please or thank you.

Ordered at 5:00pm and was told 40mins to an hours delivery which is understandable if they’re busy. An hour and half passes and try to ring up to ask for an estimated time for delivery. The phone was engaged and after 59 attempts finally got through for them to tell us food is on the way, it then took another 15 mins and no apology. Usually really rate them but bit disappointed this time round.

Just moved to Skegness and I decided i wanted Chinese and thought to try this place out, well i cant think of anything that was bad with the food it was probably one of the best Chinese ive had in a long time. Definitely will be coming back and i 100% recommend for people.

First class takeaway, we have tried all the Chinese takeaways in Skegness and this one is consistently the best, the food is cooked in front of you, the parking is a slight problem

Unsure of which to visit we ended up picking this one. It looks a bit shabby from the outside if you go to collect but do not let this put you off! This is now one of our favourite Chinese places anywhere!! Really nice food along with I thought a great price too (£25–£30) for 4 adults is not to be knocked.

A late night visit was rewarded with an excellent chow mein, much better than anticipated. The decor could do with a tidy-up, but this seems par for the course with these sorts of places.

A great value Chinese. The salt n pepper chips are addictive though so beware. We love this place. Never had a bad meal.

Always go here and had a problem once before with undercooked meat, this time the chicken ball's were over cooked on the outside and the chicken still pink chip tasted like they had been sat there all day rice was dry and hard and the curry was too thick and lumpy again with under cooked chicken! Me and my partner will not be ordering from here again that's for sure

Don’t get me wrong it’s the best takeaway in Skegness but honestly it’s ridiculous!! We have called over 100 times all together and it calls all the way through with them just ignoring us!! Then we call back and it says user busy

This is the best Chinese takeaway in Skegness. Little things make it stand out, like the noodles are done just right, the sweet and sour sauce is really good, and try the salt and pepper chips, they're the future.

I feel that they put something in the food because we seem to be addicted. Each time we have it we enjoy it more than the last. Salt n pepper chips are possibly one of the nicest things you can eat.

We have had takeaways here twice; both occasions have been ok without being wonderful. Both times the Beef was well cooked and the Appitisers nice. Our biggest gripe would be with the S/S dishes where the Balls were always burned and not nice at all. Similarly the rice was always poor. The Yung Chow was merely Fried rice with soy sauce and the Egg Fried just too much Soy.

Had a Chinese with family and was expected better of what we received. Was all a bit bland and service felt a bit miserable. Guess the chips and the spring rolls were okay but couldn’t vouch for anything else being up to standard.

Good menu, good portions at reasonable prices, but all with a frosty service. Smiled a handful of times at the lady taking the order but she didn't crack a smile even once. No effort at answering enquiries about allergens either, just the blanket "nothing is gluten free" line. (What, even salad? Lets not go there)

This has to be THE WORST tasting food I have ever had in my entire life. I have never tasted anything so bland and dry. I don't even have words to describe how awful this food tasted. I didn't even eat it! My children asked me not to make them eat the food! I can't comprehend how these people are still in business. Anybody who would recommend this Chinese Takeaway, I pity them because they have clearly never experienced what good food should taste like.

Went in for a meal to take-away; ordered egg-fried rice, salt and pepper squid and sweet and sour chicken cantonese style and we got a good amount for a decent price. Went again for a night snack and was still very good!

Started using this takeaway a couple of months ago due to the Thai element in the menu have now stopped using the ones on Roman bank due to constantly having items missing from the order and other concerns !! we have no complaints so far always been delivered hot and crispy

reasonable priced very handy for impulsive decision for tea delivery service available although as at bottom of our road quicker for us to pick up not open mondays which is a shame

Visited on a saturday evening to order a take away so we expected a wait, but not 45 minutes!! with n o apologies for the wait.When we got the food home we were disappointed in the lack of real flavour across all our dishes- bit sad really.
