Excellent meal ,excellent service, clean and tidy .just been with 2 friends nearly didn't because of reading reviews we couldn't fault it .eat in restaurant and was very pleasant!y surprised fed be going back , or just found out they do home deliverary .try it yourself .thank you to staff and chef

Visited here for an evening meal due to not being able to find anywhere else open on a Monday teatime. Asked the woman for a table for two and she looked like we’d asked her to spit shine our shoes! Ordered our drinks and decided what we would have to eat. Then waited about 20 minutes for said lady to take our order. She obviously had to finish playing on her phone first whilst behind the bar with her backs to us. She abruptly took our order, she has no manners whatsoever! Duck pancakes were average, thick and gloopy hoi sin sauce. Main courses were disgusting. Tasted like the lid had come off the salt whilst being cooked! All I could taste was salt! Unidentifiable items in my chow mein ( possibly egg??). To summarise, customer service is shocking. Food is shocking.

Basic room, friendly staff. Food in restaurant mixed quality, duck lovely, fried dishes poor quality. Staff helpful and reduced bill for us. Comfortable bed, slept well. FYI room 8 has no toilet in ensuite, not an issue for us, shared toilet on same floor.

Stayed here for a wedding at the nearby Elm Tree. Single room was £40 for the night. Great value. Had all I’d expect and in good condition, though for anything more than a night and I’d have been a little more concerned. It was much like sleeping at my nans house as a kid. aka this place is stuck in the 90s. The floor in the room was particularly disgusting but everything else was pretty good!

I went to this restaurant for a meal with a friend early on in 2024. We both ordered a curry. One beef and one chicken. It was the worst curry we both had. There was no curry flavouring in the curry at all. The dish felt like it was the type where you add water to make up the curry. The rest of the food was ok just about but not good quality food at all. I've had a lot better in other Chinese restaurants. I deftinatly won't be going there again. I should have worked out there was something wrong when we were the only people in the restaurant. Other places to eat on the same night were full.

Ordered a chicken curry, got home started eating the chicken felt rubbery when we looked the chicken was pink (uncooked) in the middle… so we rang up and agreed to take it back. Of course these things can happen but we just wanted our money back. The lady got her hands in the curry on the bar saying I was wrong the curry was fine and they sell loads of them. Refused to just apologise and ended up giving me the money back just for the curry even though I left all the food with her. Will never go back just for the customer service alone.

Ordered a chicken curry, got home took a bite and it was rubbery… in further inspection it was pink in the middle. Rang them and agreed to take it back. We took all dishes back as we didn’t want to eat any of it incase so took it back. The lady dug into the curry with her hands on the bar and said it was cooked they sell hundreds so they are all fine. Yes sometimes this mistake happens but no customer service at all. She then rudely gave me £7.50 refund for the £26 we spent and left there. All in all I wouldn’t go back especially for the level of customer service. Since reading reviews on here I wish I’d never ordered anything. DISGUSTING! should be shut down.

I can only speak for the takeaway service but it was terrible. Had a large order and the food tasted off and was of very low standard. One example was the king prawn and mushrooms which had only three king prawns in it, the house special chowmain tasted off and had a bad stomach the day after. The food overall was substandard and expensive. I will not order from here again.

We spend over £100 on a family takeaway whilst on holiday in the area. One of the dishes, Duck in plum sauce was overcooked and inedible because it was too tough. A beef burger which we ordered for our grandson would have made him ill had we have allowed him to eat it. It was raw in the middle, well undercooked. We were very disappointed especially as were on on holiday. I phoned the Take away to express my disappointment and was simply told “I’ll pass the information onto the chef” which is not really very good customer service in my opinion we certainly can not recommend this takeaway based on our experience and will certainly not use it again whilst we are on holiday. It is such a shame because several of the dishes ordered were well cooked and enjoyed.

Only terrible things to say about this place and the owner. I hope he is never in a position of need as he is a degrading, disrespectful and sinister individual. Couldn’t pay me to eat or sleep there. Told an individual that “roughies stay out the back” and that they “shouldn’t be seen eating there”. This is not a 5* establishment, they shouldn’t have one *, and I truly hope the gentleman who owns this place is dealt the same hand as the individuals at rock bottom, just wanting to better their life with a roof over their head. Vile character.

Reliable delivery of takeaway Chinese food and good sized portions. Good variety of dishes on the menu. I have only ever used Beijing Dragon for takeaways so I can’t comment on the restaurant or accommodation.

This is basic accommodation but clean and well positioned for my activities. Room had a shower and sink but shared toilet along the passage. Room clean and tidy with comfortable bed. No breakfast available this time.

I have to give 1 star because the food tasted like the lid of the bottle of salt fell off and all the salt got dumped into the food. It was inedible how salty it was. Also dripping in a river of oily grease. I never bother to write reviews and I am not a fussy eater but this was so bad, such a waste of money.

Called in for a takeaway BIG mistake. Fried rice clumped up In rock hard balls supposed to be a special fried rice only thing special was irs terrible quality foo young full of salt and frozen peas inedible. Sweet and sour chicken like shoe leather no batter. Thus is the worst meal I have ever had !!! It's absolute garbage I finished up Throwing it in the bin. I Give it a big miss it's good is disgusting and very rude staff told cash only !!! That's a bit iffy maybe they are not paying the vat or income tax !!! Excellent customer service -called up a few times on different orders to add/change order or paying method and it's always handled very fast and efficient. Polite staff including delivery drivers. I didn't stay, but i ordered chicken balls and egg fried rice, Probably the worse Chinese I've had,the rice was very dry and hardly any egg flavour, the chicken ball batter was very soggy and dry and also, the chicken was very rubbery and it didn't even taste or look like chicken and also majority was pink inside

Visiting parents. Ordered takeaway online and collected it. Food was ready to be collected on time. Food was fresh and yummy and lots of it. Dad loved the half a duck.... Lots leftover for tomorrow as well. Defo use again

Do not go here! I had a takeaway tonight and it was absolutely awful. The chips were cooked but hard, my prawn balls were cold and the sweet and sour pork tasted like off fish. I rang up and complained and she asked me to bring it back and I would get a refund. However, because I had tried some of the food she wouldn’t give me a full refund. She had an extremely bad attitude. I never complain about anything but this food was so so so bad! Restaurant was empty on a Saturday night which wasn’t a good sign at all. Staff are extremely rude and genuinely don’t care. I’m not sure how this place is still open??

A one night stay over, room was very clean, staff were pleasant, we had dinner and breakfast, this is not a 4* hotel so please do not expect the same facility's. this hotel is fine for breaking up a long journey but I would not stay for longer than one night.

Booked for 2 nights but on arrival was told I was booked in for the day before & no way would the arrogant owner except it was his mistake. Room ok but the breakfast was inedible, SWIMMING in fat, then I was told the room was available after all, No thank you!!!

Had a take away last week and it was disgusting. The sweet and sour sauce was like sweet bright red syrup, flavor less. The king prawn balls were over cooked to the point they could have been anything. The Singapore noodle was swimming in oil with zero flavor. The chips looked like oven chips, stale and hard but the dogs like them. As for the spare ribs they just went in the bin again un edible. Shocking food, never again.

Do not stay at this hotel, hidden step behind door with no signage, tiles on the floor are unsteady, I paid £120 for one night for a run down living room with three beds in, broken mirror on the wall in the hall way, this place is a liability

Just stayed here For 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience, staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was clean (family room) beds are comfortable made and cleaned every day, on our last night we ate in the restaurant and in my opinion the food was very nice and served in a nice amount of time, breakfast was a nice start to the day, would definitely recommend a stay here

I am going to leave a lot of my experience out of this... not sure what the duck was. But whilst alive it has never “quacked” a day in its furry life 🤢 pancakes were frozen in the middle and when showed after returning to store half hour later was told I must of frozen them myself !!!! Horrible horrible ..oh did I say horrible vile woman. AVOID at all costs.

We stayed here last night as we were going to a birthday bash. We were apprehensive because of previous reviews but it was a great little place. We called them ahead to let them know what time we was arriving and was met by a nice lady. Allthough a little dated the rooms were great. Both rooms ensuite rooms 1 and 4. Very clean n tidy. Very cosy and a comfy bed. Breakfast can be ordered for a time u want. We went for 9am. We all had full English with toast. Juice tea and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. A great little place for a stop over. Will use again the next time I'm in Spilsby. Many thanks

We called in to pick up a take away on the way home to be met by one of the rudest members of staff,he was blunt and disinterested in you, no customer service skills at all,Then to top it off the food was sub standard. Will never go here again.It’s a shame you can’t give a zero mark.

Came for 18th Birthday party, very disappointing, very cold no heating on had to sit with coats on, one of the dishes inedible, very tough meat, complained but they couldn’t have cared less ! AVOID.

Went twice in the space of a week. Both with family. 1st time sharing meal selection B, 2nd time sharing meal selection A. £15 a head, a great deal for what is offered to you. On both occasions I also paid separately for crab meat & sweetcorn soup which is really good ! Each part, from starter platter, to crispy aromatic duck with pancakes & 2 main meals are very tasty & excellent. They are also a hotel. Whilst I wouldn't stay here because 1st impressions are not impressive (very very dated & run down) The restaurant & what they are offer is impressive. I thought the service was decent too. I had initially booked a 2 night stay bed and breakfast, upon arrival I was told that breakfast wasn’t served until 08.30 because the cook didn’t start until 8am, that wasn’t any good as I needed to leave at 07.30 but no discount or refund on the breakfast The Room, the bed isn’t level due to uneven floor, some 10 inches high at the foot end so you end up slipping down to the headboard end, The toilet flushes for about 15 minutes and sounds like some sort of industrial machine going wrong,The curtains were falling down as the pelmet was barely attached.The morning after my first night I had to telephone the owner to get them to come to the reception, When I notified them of the problems she decided to argue with me insisting that I was wrong, I decided that it was all to much trouble and cancelled my second night but they told me I couldn’t have a refund,,, eventually I did get the refund but not without protestIt’s generally a bad hotel

I was in the area for a local airshow so everywhere was booked already. The rooms are a bit dated but the beds are comfortable. Shower en suite but communal toilet on each floor. Its cool not the worst i have been in. Great location to the Airfield and Skegness only a short drive. I booked through Booking.com and had it set to pay at hotel. Room all confirmed so a bit surprised when the owner telephoned me the day before asking for me to pay for the room now or i could lose my booking even though i had it confirmed as he was very busy and didn't want a no show.. I had little choice and paid early. I also stipulated that i needed a car park space. Came back on the Saturday night to find car park full so i had to park on the road. Disappointed.

We were booked in by a third party after a mix up over accommodation. Basically, the place appears to be a pub that has been made into a Chinese restaurant downstairs and retained the rooms upstairs. Booking was supposed to include breakfast but on checking in we were told this was unavailable and were asked if we could DIY!. The interior and rooms are very dated, basic and tired - bits of gym equipment litter the corridors. 2 of our friends had no toilet in the room. The plumbing system reverberated a low level hum when other guests ran showers. Bed very uncomfortable and sad. Double size. Not a pleasant or relaxing experience and one we will not be repeating. Fortunately I am unable to leave a review with zero as a score - this place is pretty close to that

Disgraceful not acceptable ordered black bean chicken and on eating metal in called restaurant and advised must be scourer metal. Oooh that is Unbelievable and said ooooh will tell the boss. Just have this all the time. Avoid this place.

I'm not gonna ramble on.. hungry? Please go and raid a dustbin rather than come here.!! Hair in the undercooked chicken curry (that had carrots potatoes and beansprouts in) the chicken was still cold in the middle. Wrapped the BBQ spare ribs in kitchen roll .!! Disgusting. As for the owner.. rude vile ugly inside and out vulgar horrid thing.!! Ignores u for twenty minutes while on here phone. Then when u said excuse me she says can't u see I'm busy .!! The food would have been waiting in a bag for ages. That's why it was cold. And when I tell her this. She name calls and tells u to F off. And spayed ant spray at me.!!!

Went to collect some takeaway and confronted by queue of people but no one serving. Waited 10 mins before anyone appeared but still didn't talk to any of the waiting customers. Finally a man asked whether I had ordered and tried to find my order with the orders on the desk. He disappeared and eventually returned to say its being done. Service was terrible and I cannot believe they run a business like this. I will never go back and at least four of the other customers also said they were disgusted and wouldn't return. Shambolic and food was greasy and not tasty at all. Most ended in the bin. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Avoid!!! Went here tonight, came home with takeaway, one of my children found something black inside a chicken ball. I immediately took it back to complain, to be told I was a f****** bi*** for requesting a refund! Refund refused. Told me to F off on several occasions, hand gestures to. Gave her a piece of my mind of how rude she was, and the so called manager, tried to hit me and makes threats with a television control at least 10 times. Told me I'd eaten all the food which obviously I hadn't with the images shown. I slung the tub of rice and went to leave. With this the so-called manager ran round and cornered me and locked me in the building, refusing to let me out again making intimidating threats. Police informed! This lazy so called manager is the one that usually sit/stands ignores everyone whilst playing on her phone!!! Avoid!!! This place needs some half decent professional staff!!! Not rocky behind the counter, wot ever happened to customer service!!!! Furious!!

We went there last night as we have been before and really enjoyed it, which we did enjoy the food, but the place had no heating on whatsoever we had to sit and eat a 3 course meal in our coats, she told us the air con was on but it wasn't nor was the radiator behind us, all she was interested in was playing in her phone behind the counter, to which I find very unprofessional.

After opting for English food had a so called mixed grill on a tiny plate meat was terrible and chips were foul btw seasonal veg is another word for garden peas don't bother

Went here for birthday part meal for 10 people. Lovely setting inside,helpful friendly staff, John couldn't do enough for us even when one of our party was ill,through no fault of the restaurant they were so understanding and accommodating, not rushing us at all. Fabulous choice and food and altogether a great experience. They have some great offers including the Eat all Buffet and 4 dishes for £10. We will return and thank you.

Had a meal here as I was staying in the hotel. The food was very good and the gentleman who took my order was polite and attentive. I was however the only customer on a Saturday night. There was another member of staff (i assume a manager or owner) at a table close by who was clipping her nails and talking to a friend on Skype for the duration of my meal. Shame

Pollo pollo chow nuevo no principal sólo trozos de grasa. . El arroz frito no es frito es una caldera de desastre espantoso bulto con huevo. . . Hemos probado este lugar 2 veces y las dos veces lo mismo. . . No lo recomendaría. . . Manténgase bien alejado

La parte trasera rompiendo sofá había sido eliminado ha sido sustituido por más de descanso adecuado. Sigan con el buen trabajo!

Que son locales. Nos hemos comido un par de veces poco tienden a fin llevar ahora. Siempre hemos disfrutado cada selección y nunca regresar un plato. Recomendamos este restaurante chino como una gran opción si local de spilsby

Después de leer las críticas anteriores, estaba muy preocupada de lo que encontraría cuando llegué. Me acogió cálidamente por el dueño y acompañado a mi habitación, tener sólo reservé una habitación individual me sorprendió que nos dieron una habitación doble en suite, que aunque anticuado estaba extremadamente limpio. Me decidí a mi cena en el restaurante de la planta baja. Aunque yo era la única en el comedor muy agradable, el número de pedidos recibidos desde el teléfono al ser zona local le dieron mucha seguridad de que la comida era buena y que era. En la mañana había una variedad para el desayuno, cereales, zumo de frutas, y distintas comidas calientes. Todo esto por 35 libras. 00 donde se puede conseguir algo mejor.

Esp as they let us change the main dishes.No complaints, the food was fine, plenty of space, unhurried, nothing remarkable or particularly noteworthy, the sticky menu and plastic table cloth just took the edge off the place, a little more attention to detail and some relaxing music would make all the difference!

Ate here one night as we were staying in a couple of the rooms above.Plenty to choose from on the menu. My friend fancied fish & chips but we later found out that they'd run out of fish pieces, so the manager offered to nip round to the shops and buy some especially!Unfortunately this delayed her getting her meal & two of us had almost finished our chinese when her fish & chips arrived.It was nice, but I have had better - I guess you just get used to your own local restaurant tastes though.Prices were reasonable, and overall the food was good. I'd eat here again if I was staying at the B+B.
