Great food very tasty and good prices, highly recommend.

Went in tonight for a special chowmein was told all meats in it that’s how it should be as I requested what was in it . Got reheated food not fresh , chicken and a bit of beef and hey ho 1 king prawn , it should be pork beef chicken prawn and mushroom and fresh cooked shoots . Yet again it was crap and I binned binned it I was so mad , I went over 1 yr ago and had only chicken in it and vowed I wouldn’t be back, but I honestly thought this time it might be new owner's and the standard a special chowmein should be . What has made me laugh the server assured was all things in it ? As I told her it was awful last time I came . But reheated is a no no and I’ve took a picture and going to standards of fair trading and why do they insist cash only ? Never know that before in food industry ? But rest assured I won’t be back and I live here

Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. Called in shortly after opening and obviously got the day befores leftovers warmed up. Rice disgusting. Chicken disgusting. Chips rock hard. Curry awful. I threw it all in the bin. Waste of time & money.

Food was lovely. But as for the lady serving on the counter. RUDE!!! Clearly has issues with ladies younger than herself. Let it slide the first time thought she must be having a bad day but second time even worse. Rude , blunt and all i did was go in and irder my food with manners, she obviously leaves hers at home!!!!! But so lovely to all age gents that come in.. strange that! after her snatching the receipt off me today and no thankyou off her then slamming the hatch in my face i Will no longer use this takeaway.

Ordered 3 special chow meins after using several times before.this time totally bland and tasteless with the noodles realy greasy.only had one prawn in each meal Very poor needs to improve for us to use again Seems the owners just insult customers in reviews rather than addressing problems Horrible people il make sure everyone knows what a horrible place this is

Absolutely horrible...lady behind the counter has no customer relation at all, will put the phone down at the earliest opportunity given. Food is bland... Worst of the worst...even a beggar would deny eating the food as it went straight into the trash though overly priced. Avoid at all cost

Called for chicken curry and chips.the containers are very small so I did not get much curry source it was all chicken and mushrooms so very dry .I won't use this chineese again

Tried this takeaway for first time tonight. Ordered singapore vermacelli which was bland, bbq spare ribs which had very little meat and tasted like bottled sauce, also special satay which tasted like watered down chinese curry and the chips were frozen and tasteless, ive never had frozen chips from a chinese takaway in my life!

Visited whilst staying on the site up the road. Ordered Foo Young, sweet and sour Cantonese style king prawns, fried rice, spring rolls and seaweed. The service was pleasant, 15 mins whilst food was cooked and we both really enjoyed it.

Food is usually very tasty, but my latest takeaway was bland very little flavour and the chips looked like they were reheated. Probably the usual chef phoned in sick.

Absolutely FANTASTIC food. Large portions and quick service. I highly recommend this takeaway. We were stopping in Butlins and this place isn't too far. If you find yourself in the area and fancy a takeaway you should check this place out.

Unsure whether to try the place as so many negative reviews, but I'm very keen on a chinese meal and I'm on a nearby campsite so after a couple of the locals recommending it I gave it a go (monday 11th Dec 2023 about 7pm) Very friendly welcome and a nice clean, bright and warm atmosphere, comfy seats and a christmas tree in the corner. Food ready in ten minutes and free prawn crackers(my order was about £25) Egg fried rice was tasty with an excellent texture, and very good value! I really enjoyed the king prawns in black bean sauce, full of flavour and plenty of big juicy prawns, I will buy this dish again. Lots of large pieces of duck in the duck and beansprout dish and the beansprouts were nice and crispy. My other dish was a mixed meat Kung Po, lots of well cooked meat and plenty of cashew nuts, although I did find the sauce a little weak for what I think of as a 'full on' dish. In all three dishes the vegetables were cooked very nicely and really added to the meal. The prawn crackers were good as well ! I had lots left over and enjoyed a plate of cold chinese food for my breakfast (not to everyones taste but works for me!) Best cold chinese meal I've ever had !! I've also got the rest for my tea which I'm looking forward to.. I can only think that some of the more negative reviews may relate to how busy they are? There are a lot of holiday static vans here and also campsites and a pub just across the road, it must get very busy in the summer. I'd be very happy to have this as my local and I wish them well. The online menu prices are out of date and roughly a 10% increase.

Very clean and tidy. Food was tasty. My only complaint is that the food is a little bit oily. I will definitely use again

Excellent Chinese unfortunately the most unusual colour on a chicken curry but the egg fried rice was awesome 👍

Haven’t been here in a good few years as the lady on the till was rude, tried it for the first time again today and ordered 2 things and still managed to get my order wrong, went straight in the bin and won’t be using again

Literally called to order some food and my 1st question was "do you deliver to **the caravan site we are staying on** short sharp answer of "no we don't deliver at all" - and then the phone was put down by the business. Very rude!!!

02/08/23 First time I tried this Chinese, I had chicken curry egg fried rice and chips, the food was very bland no seasoning whatsoever, i had bellyache for 3 days, I'm a top fan of Chinese food but this experience was a complete let down for me with only a hygiene rating of 3....for me it should be lower....but that is my opinion. I will definitely not be going there again....good luck for those who choose to try it....no stars for me one word (avoid) have a nice day

Average Chinese, food was just warm when we got it back. Only 5 minute drive. The lady on the from desk was rude. But seemed like it was normal for her.

There was salt and pepper chips missing spring rolls missing and my wife has asked for special fried rice with no peas because she is allergic am now she's got rushed to hospital and all they could say is that we put peas on top? absolutely joke now my wife has to spend night in hospital DONT ORDER THIS 👍🤬🤬🤬

The salt and pepper chips were first class,the salt and pepper chicken was also very good, but the dry ribs were very bland and tasteless. I would go back but wouldn't get the ribs.

Women behind the counter is absolutly vile, discusting human being, food also matched that suprizingly went in bin 🤢. She made a comment towards us whilst sat waiting inside, of which we thought we had heard wrong, we said sorry she then basicly slung food through hatch and told us to get out of this shop, leave now! Extreamly strange behavoir and a very vile women. Is the only way to describe her. Hopefully others read reviews before buying food from here unlike us. Doesnt deserve 1star. Do not go here! I wouldn't give it one star if I didn't have to! The woman who took our order was so rude I have never known anything like it in my life, she said a comment in passing that we couldn't here so i asked her what she had said she slammed the wooden door on my face and told me to get out of the shop. I then went to the screen and said its a question thats all she shouted at me to get out of the shop now, the food was disgusting all went in bin, if I wasn't staying in a friends caravan not wanting to cause trouble I would have thrown the food at her! Absolutely appalling behaviour from someone who is supposed to work in customer service! Everyone has the same opinion of this woman from the reviews so I'm glad its not just me, totally ruined my evening, I will never return here! This woman needs sacking instantly! Im amazed after reading these reviews that she hasn't been sacked already! She shouldn't be working around people with the anger issues she has its scary, hope she jumps off a cliff.

We go here every time we in Skegness on holiday food never been a problem yes the woman behind counter isn't much use and very rude phoning order though to collect en she hangs up straight away no that's so and so £'s nothing...... But food always been nice always ready on time and pipping hot there's always enough for a sod it tea next day brilliant thankyou ..... SEE U IN 3 WEEKS 😁

I have never spoken to anyone so rude. She put the phone down on me twice whilst trying to order. She threw my change at me and was extremely rude. I so wish I'd caught it all on camera . The food was not to bad though if you can cope with the terrible customer service.

Bland. We ordered from here and collected whilst staying at Butlins and wish we hadn’t bothered. It was genuinely one of the worst Chinese meals we’ve ever had. We ordered a starter deluxe box, salt & pepper chicken, salt & pepper chips, crispy shredded beef in Thai chilli sauce, egg fried rice and prawn crackers. Every aspect of it was tasteless and bland. Even the prawn crackers were disgusting and tasted like old oil. Don’t waste your money.

If in ingoldmells or Skegness please try this place if you are looking for a Chinese . We are regulars here and really enjoy the food . It's good value and good quality . We have the set menu most times . This consists of chicken curry , beef and mushrooms , mini spring rolls , chicken balls , large fried rice , prawn crackers. The dishes are good sizes and great tasting . Meats are always soft and tasty. Expecially the beef . There is a good selection on the menu and I have tried alot of different dishes . Such as seaweed . Ribs and most of the starters . The restaurant is takeaway only and is located on the main road between ingoldmells and Skegness it's up a few steps so not suitable for wheelchairs in but I should think they would come and take a order if they saw you needed help. Or you can call them to bring order out . No it far from Butlins and a spar shop right next door to stock up on any drinks or snacks needed . Hope you have enjoyed reading my review . Woman behind the counter very rude!! Needs to learn some manners..also ordered one of our meals without a certain ingredient and it came with that ingredient! Didn’t even bother taking it back because I couldn’t bare to be in the woman’s company again! Will never use again

Great food great tasty dishes and good portion sizes 😋 we had the meal for 2 which stretched to feed 4 of us was delicious the best Chinese we've found around Ingoldmells

Order was wrong , and as for the woman on the front desk taking the orders she is about as useful as a fork trying to spread butter I will never go here again, my advice is use the Chinese take aways in Skegness because the standards here are shocking !!

I had chicken curry and chips ,chips OK but only 3 peices of onion 1 tiny mushroom lots of chicken only half teaspoon of curry very dry

Didn't even get round to placing order, lady on phone very rude after she informed me they don't deliver, didn't even give me opportunity to place an order for collection. I called back and asked to speak to owner and she said he didn't want to speak to me and I was blocking line. This lady was very rude and unprofessional. Recommend they get a new member of staff to answer phone who is more professional with customers.
