First time ordering from here we had Best Crispy Chilli Beef and Chicken Curry. Quick delivery and food was piping hot will definitely be ordering from here again 😊

I found a silver piece of washcloth in the curry

We tried this take away a few weeks ago and were very impressed with the food. My husband loves Sweet & Sour King Prawn balls, so they always get ordered when we have a takeaway and he commented that the ones from here are the best he has had. I must admit I agree. I think we have now found our go to Chinese takeaway. We have tried a few others but this is the best in our opinion. Placed an order again tonight 17.2.24. Tried some other dishes, with Prawn balls of course, once again not disappointed. Will definately keep using.

Possibly the worse chinese food I have ever had. Seshwan chow mein, only tasted of a cup of white pepper. Hong kong style sweet and sour chicken was soggy and tasteless and the prawn toast tasted really fishy. Threw all but the prawn crackers in the bin. This was very cheep and you get what you pay for.

Duck has been bad last few times :( and meals consist of more onion than anything else !

Took payment for our order twice and refused to pay it back.... staff were extremely rude about it.... won't be using again

QUITE A THEW BAD REVIEVS - I PERSONALLY THINK FOOD IS BETTER Definatly improved since 6/7 year back - I stopped eating here and went else where - BUT Since having changed hands of which I only found out month ago - I gave a retrial eaten from HERE twice now - IVE NOT TRYED ALL THE MENU YET BUT WHAT IVE EATEN.- SPECIAL FRIED RICE - SPECIAL FRIED NOODLES - HONGKONG STILE PORK OBVIOUSLY. WHAT I USUALLY ORDER I SAY NOT BAD!! both time were actualy nice - I SHALL VISIT AGAIN !!! & MAYBY IL GIVE REST OF MENU A TRY - 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

very unhappy with the service ordered at 6.30pm and still didn't have it at 9pm so I cancelled my order and went elsewhere

Stated 1 hour delivery time, but 2.5 hours later we are still waiting!! Can't get through to speak to anyone on the phone. I will not be ordering from there again! Terrible customer service. Don't say 1 hour for delivery when you can't stick to it

This is the third time in just over a week I've ordered food from here. The first time was to try as our usual takeaway was too busy and there was a two hour wait. Well now we have found a new regular as the food was far superior, absolutely delicious. The lady who took the order was very helpful and polite as was the delivery driver. Deserves 5 stars every time. Thank you for great food and great service.

Shocking service, food delivered 3 hours late. Horrendous customer service

I do not like leaving negative reviews at all. I have spent the whole night and day with very difficult issues due to the food I collected from NEW CHINA TOWN. The food did not smell correct but I am a brave soul and thought I would try before I raised any concerns. The Prawns were very obviously off and contacted the take away and they informed me that no refund will be offered. I took all the food back which I hardly touched and got a very frosty response. If I did not go back my call would have been completely ignored. Any way after 3 hours they gave me my £20 back and would like to thank them for the upsetting night and day I experienced due to food. I for one and all my FB friends will not risk a second visit.

We have had take away from here for years and up until today have all ways been happy. Today it was so disappointing the Beef chow mein had barely any vegetables, very dry and luke warm. The chicken fried rice, curry sauce and the chips were mediocre to say the least. We won’t be rushing back in a hurry.

WORST MEAL EVER. It was over cooked food that tasted awful that i couldn't eat it. We threw the entire meal and had to reorder dinner elsewhere. I called the restaurant and was told i am the first ever person to complain because all they get are compliments. No resolution except to be told next time i order i will be given something special. What a joke. Order at your own risk . Absolutely disgusting

We are fond of Chinese food and consider ourselves lucky, therefore, that our local is of such good quality. The food is excellent and the service even better. We use both the take away and eat in services. Staff are friendly, well trained and knowledgeable. They have even reopened the kitchen after they had just closed for us when we ordered take away late. The food is really good too. We particularly like the lemon chicken and the Szechwan beef. Food comes from the kitchen promptly after ordering. We have been using china town for years and hope to continue doing so for many more!

Christmas Eve. Ordered a meal for one and a meal for two and asked for the items to be tweaked a little. No problem. Food arrived faster than expected and was probably the best Chinese takeaway I`ve ever eaten. Full marks.

Chinatown is a great takeaway restaurant which offers a bit more than other Chinese restaurants, including noodle selections such as Japanese udon noodles, mixed with chicken, pork, etc. I recommend this takeaway if you're looking for something a bit different.

Really like the house special fried rice. Never had a bad meal here. Service is fast and staff are friendly enough. Normally get get it delivered. This is one of our favorites.

Worst take away I've ever had so disappointed food cold chicken balls chicken really dry curry sauce taste horrid so did the curry salt n pepper chips disgusting duck in black bean sauce disgusting too only nice part was the prawn crackers.

Used to be one of my top places in Rushden to order from, but the past 4 times have been worse and worse. The most recent was for a family gathering and the food was the worst yet. Bland, undercooked, soggy and the beef and chicken taste full of water. Really upset. Honestly a shame, but wouldn’t recommend and will not be having again.

We really enjoy the quality of food from here. But! Just recently it has all been SO salty, that the saltiness takes over from the flavour. Perhaps they could take this on board if other Customers agree? Maybe it is the M S G?

Great food, Great price and fast delivery

Ordered the meal at 6:30pm for 7:30pm arrived within 20 minutes? We ordered a beef curry - tepid, mushroom rice- virtually no mushrooms, prawn toast - over cooked and dry. Foo young - nice, Singapore noodles - nice. Couldn’t eat the curry or rice or prawn toast. When my wife called, the manager who spoke through a lovely lady was disinterested. Never again.

Great food from here every time we order. Our favourite place to order from in Rushden, and they're extra good when it comes to allergens.

We use China Town quite regularly and must say that you can't really go wrong with ordering from these guys! The deep fried salt and chilli king prawns are very, very good indeed! Their chow mein dishes are cooked perfectly without the lake of grease at the bottom of the containers that I have experienced from other takeaway restaurants! All in all I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal from China town, and for me that's pretty impressive!!

This was the first time(and last)we had ordered food from China Town.The food was very average,bordering on bland.My wife did not finish her Chicken Chow Mein and my Chinese Chicken curry with special rice tasted like it had been over salted.Other family members enjoyed their meals and service was fairly prompt....four of us ate for £20.50.Visited January 2017.

This became my local a year ago and it's always been spot on. I haven't had a bad meal and it's always super tasty

This was the second time we've ordered from here and I must say the food is brilliant, can't fault it.
