The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

I've been visiting this chinese for the last six months on the rare occasion we eat out. I have never once had an issue with my order and I would argue it's the best chinese food in the area. I can't speak for the English meals but the chinese is always bob on.

Sad that I asked for bean sprouts with chicken and water chestnuts and got bean shoots....love the food from here just feel disappointed that I did t get what I asked for....

Small establishment in a parade of shops, takeaway/delivery. Food was smaller portions than previously but good and hot. Card payment only but good service. Parking is available.

We had a delivery for £52 worth of food. It was the most unflavoured Chinese that we have ever eaten. Some dishes even tasted of plastic. We would never recommend this establishment to anyone nor will we ever use it again. A complete waste of money & the worst £52 that we have ever spent! :(

Some difficulty in understanding me by lady answering the phone led me talking to Chinese man. Considering it was a Friday evening, I wasn’t surprised when told delivery up to 45 minutes. However food actually arrived after some 20 minutes. It was hot and fresh and the beef was tender. Wife had chicken balls and had a suprise when some apple balls added foc! Lovely. So will definitely use again 👍😊🙏

Food is great, however waiting just over 2 hours for delivery is ridiculous. 3 phone called to the takeaway where they simply say that it’s “on its way” and “traffic may be bad”. The takeaway is 10 minutes drive away down a single road at 10pm at night- the traffic is not that bad. Disappointing service to say the least!!

I hadn’t had a Chinese takeaway for months, simply because I was unable to find one that I liked since I moved to the North East. Thank goodness I’ve found one that I’m very happy with. My food arrived hot, on time and with generous portions and, more importantly, the fried rice wasn’t overwhelmingly flavoured with a gravy mix which some Chinese takeaway’s use. Well done The Yellow Dragon now that I’ve found you I shall be a regular 😀
