Poor quality Chinese food. And they only except cash ( I wonder why)

We've never had a bad meal, the service is great and the delivery guys are lovely and friendly 😃

Please sort your delivery driver out. The driver of a grey mitsubishi lancer - VN05 HZX. Numerous times I have witnessed him bully and try to intimidate other motorists. He drives so dangerously, tailgating, overtaking into oncoming traffic and beeping at innocent motorists who he deems in his way. Also does not know what a reverse gear is. Myself and many others will not be using this company due to this driver. I've attached a picture of the car in question as I am sure many of us have had experiences of him.

So many options to choose from. Everything you would expect, reasonably priced, fab curry, chow mein and Szechuan dishes.

Waited 30 minutes for fish and chips

All our other regular Chinese takeaways were closed so decided to give them a go after seeing good reviews. Chips were frozen chips and some were not cooked properly. We had chicken Currys, the meat tasted terrible. Nearly all the food was thrown away as it was not edible. Will definitely not use them again.

Quick speedy delivery on a Saturday night so close to Christmas! Food was tasty and service was fab. Thankyou :)

Take away only. Some dishes are a lot better than others, and even that can be a bit of a lottery. My other half usually orders the same dish. Sometimes it's only OK, other times it can be the best they've ever made. I think it must depend on who's doing the cooking that night.

Ordered home delivery. Should've been delivered within 30 mins, took over an hour. Food was cold, noodles soggy, we had to throw most of it away. Terrible!!! Avoid at all costs. Will never use again!

I believe in speaking as you find & although we're not very regular here, every time we've had 'special chow mein' its always been smashing with plenty of various meats & prawns! We've had it about 5 times in 5 years, a mix of collected & very fast delivery & it has been the same every time inc this recent collection which prompted me to do this review!! Regards the price it's a special meal costing a lot less than fish & chips.

Ordered food and was told 45 minutes. Waited an hour and 35 minutes to have our food delivered barely warm. Absolute waste of £23. Most of it went in the bin. We won’t be ordering from there again.

Went here last night after not being there for probably a couple of months. Only wanted two portions of chips and 2 curry sauces. Chip portions are now half the size they used to be plus he tried charging me for two large bags. £8 for this and the chips were hard Disappointed

We ordered a delivery so disappointed not only did it take 95 mins the food was awful. Ribs poor Satay chicken ok, rice ok chicken balls sauce tasted vinegary. Szechuan prawns tasted like they were already cooked then out into dish. I will not be getting any food from here again £67 Wasted as far as I am concerned.

Just had a special curry ... prawns were small and tasteless ... meat was dry and poor quality ..wife had chicken chow main which was also poor. Told to clean t meal in 40 minutes ... that's ok ... but then waited another 15 minutes outside I the cold for my food. Will never go there again.most of the food went in the bin!!

Me and my partner both had chow mein, mine plain his chicken, both very greasy and not normal taste, both ended up ill few hours later, both on loo and me also being sick, we have used lucky house for years but this time the food was awful

Normally good food.. but this evenings chow mein tasted and smelled burnt!! Could not eat and was disgusting.

I have collected my occasional takeaway from Lucky House a handful of times and decided to treat the family. Ordered by telephone and despite being busy, the food was ready for collecting within 30 minutes. Helpful, polite and friendly staff. Being a family of six, we selected various curries, fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls and chips. The food was freshly prepared and cooked and was piping hot. Wonderful flavours from all dishes, food was excellent and enjoyed by us all, backed up by 6 empty plates and full bellies. I would personally recommend the Special Curry Extra Hot. Highly recommend this place We will be visiting again - subject to lockdown conditions.

The best Chinese by a mile, generous portions and reasonably priced,my only criticism is parking can be a pain as it is a residential area with a lot of driveways.

Had a fair few chinease currys in my life but this place beats everyone, Not just the curry but everything. The food is amazing and from 3 weeks ago i will never order from anywhere else again.

Ordered a home delivery and were told 45 minutes. It arrived after 1 hr 25 minutes. And food was cold. We rang to say it had not arrived after waiting a hr and was told were very busy. We could understand abit late but this was stupid

Ordered the spare ribs, got food poisoning symptoms the very next day.

Good food at reasonable prices, usually quick delivery but depends on how busy they are obviously but I have no complaints as it's worth waiting for. 👍👍👍👍

Just pie and chips went to bite into the pie and it was stone cold and the chips were no better the only hot thing was the curry sauce won’t be going there again

The lemon chicken was absolutely inedible. The lemon sauce was vile! Tasted like artificial sweeteners! Not very often I will not eat food that I've spent my hard earned money on. But I couldn't eat this. Never again.

This the first time we've been to this takeaway. We ordered a special chow mein and egg fried rice. The service was great, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will be definitely returning to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Thank you

We’ve had a few good takeaways from here recently, food ready promptly, good portions, enjoyed the crispy beef, red Thai chicken curry, seaweed, chicken chow mien, all decent food for a very reasonable price. Good service

This place recently changed hands I think. Used to be called Taos Place. It is in serious need of redecorating but you can see where the chef's work and it's all perfectly clean. Salt and chili chicken - to die for! Covered in tiny pieces of garlic its delicious. Curry sauce is fantastic too. Sweet and sour Chicken balls great - easily serves two. Nice staff too, cash only. Don't let the decor put you off!

The Chicken Chow Mein was a big plate of noodles with about 10 very small pieces of chicken hidden in it. £5.50 for that.

Ordered a family meal, which included honey ribs for our 8 year old.When it arrived, the meal was definitely not what we expected! There was 1 decent sized rib out of the 5 that we got, the others had virtually no meat on, and this cost £6!! Also the thai red curry had chips in amongst it, made to look like it was more chicken than there actually was! I rang the take-away to complain and was told they were busy and it was their suppliers fault, then the phone was abruptly put down on me! I rang again and the woman that answered was extremely rude , again saying that she was too busy to deal with a legitimate complaint and put the phone down on me again!! My partner then rang the take-away and was passed on to a customer , by the woman, to explain why we were ringing and preventing the people in the take-away from getting their food. How rude can you be?? I will definitely not be using this sub standard take-away again and can assure people that I am not the type of person to write a review like this normally, but was fuming after our treatment by this woman, who was definitely Chinese, and therefore assumed to be one of the owners

Ordered meal at 19. 10 and told it would be 45 minute delivery time. Eventually it arrived at 21.00 after I had already phoned several times. Was told I need not pay delivery charge. Told them to take it back . So hungry had started cooking myself!
