Having used Dragon house for well over 20 years I can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal from them and we have sampled the majority of the menu. All of the food tastes exactly as it should and not all the same as the majority of Chinese takeaways tend to in my experience. Delivery is very fast and the food always arrives piping hot! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thought I'd give this place a try after a few years away. BIG MISTAKE very poor quality food. Lesson learnt.......

This used to be one of the best but has progressively got worse, finding meat in your food is like bobbing for apples, very little of it and poor quality, missing ordered items, with an explanation you will get it next time, yeah like that helps. Kept going back but this weekend was the last straw, shame but it’s time to try somewhere else, they are living on past awards etc, very poor quality food for this day and age, bad attitude to customer service, only positive is the delivery people are really polite. Shame as this was my go to for years, it’s like a break-up and I need to move on 🥲

Called in on the off chance, service was perfect, new member of staff training doing an awesome job. Food was so hot, full of flavor and packed full. Certainly will be back again.

Wasn't happy with the meal .And god only nows how you can get rice so rong .More like cous cous .Want use here again sorry to say

Haven't ordered from here for a while, firstly when we tried to order the phone was answered then no one spoke so had to go and collect. The rice was all stuck together in a lump and had no taste and the chicken was all soft and jelly like! Will not be ordering again complete wast of money!

Well had a lovely Chinese meal from the dragon house tonight really tasty who ever cooked it put some lovely flavours in I think it's one of the best take away from here wev ever haf

Chow mien was microwaved/boiled and mush…bland and lacking taste. They must have not received their delivery of soy sauce during the week….most of the slop went in the bin. Very disappointed….won’t be ordering from these guys again.

Very disappointed with our meal it was not the same as it normally is tasted very different not sure if it’s a different chef but it was not very nice at all had no taste this is the second time now so we won’t be ordering it from there any more such a shame

Shocking!!!! Avoid as they do not care about you or food

This was the second time we just chucked our food in the bin. First time we ordered late so blamed ourselves this time was early so no excuses .food shockingly cooked .noodles were just like mush all stuck together .the rice was the same never seen fresh .Big disappointment again.will NOT be ordering again. What a waste of money.

Best Chinese in Donny, been using them for almost 10 years so far

My order was completely wrong, no excuse as it was a white English man what answered the call and took my order. Tastes absolutely mingling, sauces was leaked in the bag I re rang for another order and they said there was nothing they could do or give me a refund after spending £37 pound something. Best thing about my order was the bottle of Coca Cola I will not be ordering from here again! Take my advice and do not order from here and waste money! I tried giving my big dog the chicken chow main as he eats anything and even he wouldn’t eat it as I didn’t want to waste £37

I have ordered a few times from dragon house and they never disappoint, the food is amazing and the delivery is super fast - so the food always arrives piping hot. Cannot fault it and cannot wait to order again!

Thought I would have a change and order from dragon house big mistake absolutely tasteless food, ordered salt and pepper chicken came in a tiny carton maybe 10 pieces can’t say chicken cos it was all batter never will order from here again and it’s over priced too, AROMA Chinese take away will get my order every time from now on

food was well late then 40 ish mins later after eating half made me throwing up do not waste your money

First time I’ve ordered here and the food was very fresh, tasty and hot. Big portions and prices are reasonable too. Would recommend.

Meal was delivered very quickly and the food was amazing. Tried other places occasionally but always go back to Dragon house. Really didn't want tonights meal to end as it was just delicious. Deep fried shredded beef, egg fried rice and chips between 2 of us. More than enough

Had an excellent meat from here this week. The meal was ready on time, arrived hot and was of very good quality. I have used this takeaway for many years and I have always been happy with the food.

DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Two weeks running my order was wrong. On the second occasion I phoned up and was told they would sort it out next time. I've just got off the phone after speaking to a very rude and ignorant woman, who said "if it's not in the book I can't give you it". Guess what?... it wasn't in the book. I asked to speak to whoever was in charge, but was told he was "too busy", then she hung up on me. Been getting takeaways from here for 30 years, but NEVER AGAIN. To the OWNER of this business... the woman answering the phone on Saturday 31st July is a clown who is costing you customers. WAKE UP

The food was terrible, no flavour, the meat was dry and chewy, the vegetables tasted frozen and mushy. Most of the order was wrong. The food was poor quality. It was on time and hot. I won't be back. We had a meal for 6 and no one liked it.

Ordered Special Chow mane. Very tasty dish packed with various meats and 2 x king prawns. I would recommend this dish

Worst tasting, most overcooked takeaway ever! Mixed starter completely over cooked and the ribs were like dry leather. Duck with spring onions consisted of fatty overcooked bad tasting duck on huge bed of steamed tasteless onion, chow mien was a soggy mush with bits of dry hard overcooked pieces of meat. Sweet and sour chicken tasted good! Binned most of the meal. Unfortunately I was up all night and most of next day with really BAD stomach. I note that most reviews are old and out of date. Do not recommend

There was 6 of us and none of us enjoyed what we had, it wasn't very tasty snd they got our order wrong, and it was expensive too. Won't be going again.

I don't know how they could be any worse.. The delivery took two hours. Chicken in beansprouts was just a dry chicken breast Beef in black pepper had no pepper and 5 pieces of beef in veg that was chewy as hell. Salt and peppers chips tasted like they'd just reheated yesterday's chips and through an onion at it. Honestly, the only nice thing was the sesame toast. Awful food

Online menu price is different to what they actually charge, very arrogant about it when approached. Not bothered about resolving the issue. No refund was mentioned. Be warned on extra charges. Food teasted bitter after being ripped off. Not happy and will not use again.

Excellent food everytime ...lunchtime specials on a Friday a must ..never had a bad meal from here been using it for over 12 years ..suggest bad reviews are from people trying to scam free food !!!!!

We oredered our Chinese as normal like we have done for years on our debit card, we didn't hear the delivery driver knock,so apparently he took the meal back.They took the wrong phone number and couldn't get in contact with us,but refused to deliver again unless we paid our delivery charge again. The customer service was appalling the lady on the phone was arrogant and obnoxious. We had to drive down and collect our order ourselves.. The meal was bearly warm so we had to warm it up in the microwave.We spent £31.00 including delivery,I'm very annoyed at the fact that they can get away with treating people like this, discussing! You think customer would come first, apparently not ! Dave

Ordered 32 pounds worth of food. Asked for gf meal with no soy. Got battered chicken! No problem I thought. They dont understand so ill ask for one with no batter. Have to pay again!! I didnt and we wont be going back here. Dissapointing allergy knowledge.

The first occasion the wrong food was delivered and when we called up regarding this the staff were really rude, unprofessional and shouting down the phone. The second and last time we will order from there the food was delivered two hours from when we ordered and only that was after we rand and chased the order after one and a half hours . Overall, very bad service.

Ordered on Saturday! Spent over £33!! No prawn crackers sent when rang up she said had to spend £35 ha made me laugh won't be coming bk here again!!! Ridiculously priced!!!! Food was awful!!

we ordered a takeaway from here for our family of five. As it was our first time order I thought they may have thrown in something as our order came to approx £50.00 sadly not. The food was average and seemed to all taste very similar even though we certainly had a wide variety. We will order again as it may have been that it was a Saturday teatime and very busy that our food wasnt its usual standard.

Just had Chinese it was delicious. Not had for a while but very tasty. Duck was just as I like it. Special fried rice was more than expected.

Always good food always on time

Ordered on a Saturday night for the family and was told delivery will be 45 mins max. I understand there might be a bit of a delay with it being a Saturday night but 2 hours later and still waiting is a joke with no apology. Extremely rude on the phone when checking twice where it is and had a 'not my problem' attitude. If we were told it would of taken this long it wouldn't of been a problem and would of picked it up. Will not be ordering again.

I can only highly recommend this Chinese’s takeaway. Fresh hot delicious and authentic not a cheap alternative.... but also value for money.. The beef and green pepper in black bean sauce is to die for...

Excellent food recently under new management but the quality and taste of food continues to to be of the highest quality....

Awful. Person behind the counter too concerned about their phone which is probably why 2 of our orders were totally wrong. For the dishes that were right "mixed vegetables" meant a ton of onions and a sprinkle of carrot, noodles totally overcooked and every dish very greasy. Expensive too. Will not visit again.

Very bad service, had an 8 year old child answering the phones, messed up my order then told me it would be 50minutes to send out my rice! Unacceptable, will not order from them again.

I've been ordering from Dragon House for about 20 years or so. There has been some changes but I have found any Chinese takeaway I use when not at home is always compared to this and 9/10 times its Dragon House that stands above. Food always tastes amazing and there is always enough. No over pricing compared to the 'convenience' of Just Eat, just make a call to the friendly staff and food is always quick to arrive.

I have been recommended this place by a friend and I have to say I was not disappointed! I will definitely be back!

Really bad place to buy a take away. Ordered some spring rolls and when I rang up the lady was calling me a lier when I told her I didn't receive them and so don't get meal from this place. They need to look after there customers and they don't at all. Hope they get closed down

Just got a Takeaway from Dragon House in Sprotborough 31/12/2016 only to find one of the trays were half empty! I phoned up to ask for a replacement dish to get told " that is a full portion" that's it!! Shocking will never use these again! Appalled

Our go-to choice of takeaway when we're in Doncaster visiting family and friends. Great choice of foods and the crispy Peking duck is very good. Speedy delivery of food given a busy weekend night.

The food is very reasonable, not the best I've tasted but certainly not the worst. Delivery is reasonably fast and only about £1

Decided to try another chinese takeaway as our usual place is closed on Mondays. Wasn't disappointed. The lady who took the phone order was polite and efficient, the delivery man was prompt and friendly and the food was tasty and hot. Will probably be making a permanent switch.

Had many dishes from here all very good. Been coming here for over 10 years (even tho this is a drive for us and we have another chinese takeaway a few doors away). They are happy to adapt the dishes slightly on request. Reasonable prices.

Dreadful. Got meals wrong and when I told them to send driver back to collect the meals they said "we close in 10 minutes" and then put phone down on me! Avoid like the plague!!!

Absolutely disgusting! Ordered and the food was all greasy, meat was raw and noodles were under cooked! Asked to redo and came exactly the same as the first time!

Worst experience of my life. They got my order wrong after driving 6 miles to get it then when I got it home it was wrong and upon calling them back, they refused to put it right after they'd got it wrong. The "boss" who couldn't decide if she was or not was no help whatsoever and was simply rude. Will not be returning, wasn't that good anyway

Promedio, pero Normalmente última llevar totalmente equivocados! Pedí específicamente no pollo en nuestra comida (no nos gusta) y para ser sustituidos con cerdo. Cuando abrimos ... pollo! Me llamó para informarle pusieron pollo y se encontró con un torrente de abuso diciendo que era sin duda cerdo! Cuando les pregunté a enviar a alguien para examinarlo si que eran seguros, nos dijeron que cerraban en 10 minutos y groseramente poner teléfono! Comida fuimos en bin!

Comida aceptable pero entrega bastante inaceptable. contestando llamadas de personal muy cortés así que no hubo ningún problema. esperar un Impasse de/propietarios de los gerentes con cualquier queja genuina!! No muy profesional. ¿Quién la necesita? Nunca me orden desde aquí de nuevo.
