China Town 2000 in Doncaster

Got salt n pepper chicken for my 7 year old and it was like rubber to be fair wot I ordered was only just edabile never agein will I order the only things that was nice was the chips

I've had really mixed quality of dishes from here lately. Been coming since 2006! Tonight the food was totally bland, the Noodles tasted of nothing (normally I could eat them by themselves), the beef with fresh chilli in black bean sauce had very little flavour or heat, completely bland. The deep fried shredded beef was ok, at least a lot more flavour going on. Very disappointed!

Have had a takeaway on numerous occasions and we have always enjoyed the meal .

Very disappointed the last few orders from here there's either something missing or its cold. It used to be very good which is why I've kept ordering but after last night enough is enough missing items and cold food. It was the first order of them opening on the day and on top of missing items I had fried rice instead of egg fried rice and the noodles In the chow meins we're hard, all the food had to be microwaved. Possibbly food from the previous day as I had a really bad stomach ache shortly after eating. Won't be ordering ever again from here now. Waste of £32.50

consistent take away, the food is pretty good and always plenty of people waiting for food. this to me speaks volumes, best I've found close to me in Doncaster. if there are better, let me know

This is our favourite Chinese takeaway in Doncaster. We always telephone order and pick up ourselves. On this occasion we were told that it would be ready in 10 minutes and on arrival at the shop sure enough it was there waiting for me. We had our usual cantonese special meal for two and I have to say that this time the chef excelled him/her self as all the courses were delicious and equal to anything you could get in a restaurant.

I have ordered from here for years the family has had it for years if not when it first started up delivery is fast food is good I prefer the chicken dishes myself the do one good satay chowmein .

The best Chinese takeaway in Doncaster easily. No skimping on the meat. The pancake rolls are best I've ever tasted. Try them you will not be disappointed 5 star. I've tried nearly most of them and these in our opinion are best and we eat a lot of Chinese Asian food. I've been eating from these for 2yrs now and I've thought it's time we did a review.

Waited for an hour after I had ordered over the phone. Sat in takeaway for 30 mins. When I finally got the food and went home it was a incomplete order. The food was average. Chinatown 2000 use to be the best but not now.

Best Chinese take away in Doncaster, fresh cooked, not greasy, pleasant people, just love the taste. I live 6 miles away but well worth the travel, never been disappointed yet highly recommend for Chinese food lovers.

missing food from the start and the food that was recieved was absolutely horrendous from soggy chips and gloopy stuck together chow main gristley meat and curry sauce like jelly customer service rude woul not recomend @!!

Best ever, fresh and good prices

Ordered takeaway & was told 10-15 mins delivery wait, after 3 hours and several unanswered phone calls later the delivery never actually arrived.

We eat here because of the quality of food, we have been regulars for a while now and we have never once had an order that hasn't been spot on with the quality of the food. I would recommend this as a fantastic place to order from. They even do me a bespoke version of a dish, not a menu item.

Ordered food over 2 hours ago, no one advised on waiting time, Just took the order and address and put the Phone down. Tried to call after an hour several times but no one answering. After 2 h went to them, said on their way, but still no one here, will never order Again, as even if they busy, should call with apologise

Delivery was very prompt, i am sat here eating crab and sweetcorn soup with prawn toast.The soup is like hot water no flavour and the prawn toast i had to accompany it has never seen a prawn. Not happy. Scoring a 2 as it came hot.🙁

Best takeaway in intake always deliver food with a smile and food always decent yeah at busy times wait longer time for food to arrive but so what the staff will work very hard cooking your meals and its expected on friday and saturdays your gonna wait longer.would recommend chinatown to anyone.plus people saying food is cold its rubbish as food stays hot for about 1hour and half in those metal containers they use.

Poor customer service, very rude on the phone. Had phone put down when I was asking a question, and was having a conversation with someone else while I was giving me order. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with poor attitude to customer.

Great food at an extremely reasonable price. The food was hot and flavours exceptional. Very prompt delivery and staff were courteous and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to anyone.

Just been reading some other reviews. I'm sure they must be talking about another place. We've been using this take a way for years. Always excellent. Clean. Quick. Excellent food. Once or twice on a Saturday delivery not always as quick, but you kinda expect that on a Saturday.

First class menu and fast delivery, spot on!!!

We ordered our chinese and was told it was gonna take 1 hour to get here. An hour and a half later no chineese had come we rang the restaurant up and asked why it had not arrived they replied we were busy and it would be another half an hour. When the order finally came they had not given everything we ordered but had charged us for it we rang up and they said we did not order the item that was missed out and would not refund us or bring the item to us. I will not be coming her again!!!

Decent quality Chinese food, never had a bad order

Having read the other reviews of this takeaway I think that I must have gone to a different one. We have twice gone to the shop and ordered the set cantonese meal for three. the food is cooked very quickly and you get a free bottle of coke and prawn crackers thrown in at no charge. Both times the food has been of restaurant quality, very tasty and enjoyed by us all. This is now our preferred chinese takeaway and we will continue using it.

Used them regularly years ago whenI lived near the takeaway and was always good food so when I got the menu delivered through my door thoughtI would order from them again. The food was delivered quickly and was hot, portions were of good size unfortunately all we could really taste was salt. Such a shame as the food looked and smelt good otherwise.

Muy decepcionado, pedí un par de veces antes y estaban satisfechos con el servicio y la calidad, sin embargo, pedimos el sábado pasado a las 7:50. Esperamos una hora y media, llamé para preguntar cuánto me dijeron que no podía ver el billete, así que debe ser con el conductor. 2 horas después de haberlo pedido aún no había comida! ! Los niños hambrientos y forma (pasada la hora de dormir en este punto) llamó de vuelta a que me dijeran que estaba cocinando ahora! Pasar el rato en un minuto era para entrega cuando llamamos hace una media hora? ? Finalmente llegamos, pero no disculpa y ningún descuento. Es una pena! No regresaré prisa! !

We are long standing customers of China Town 2000 but after the last few orders have not been to their usual standards we will give it a miss for a while. Last night we ordered for our family, it took 1 hr 45 minutes to be delivered (we were not told of any delay on the phone). Upon unpacking the food we realised part of the order was wrong even though I had said twice on the phone that the sauce needed to be separate to one of the dishes (fussy kids). Food quality seems to have slipped too. I hope they sort out the issues and we may be back in the future, 16 years we have used this Chinese! and never had a problem till recently.

Disgraceful.! Waited over 30 minutes for our food in the shop.Once got it home they missed half of our order,called to ask for it and was told to come and get it,after telling them i wanted it delivering 20 minutes later still not arrived.Lets say NEVER ORDERING HERE AGAIN.

Utter shambles ought to be ashamed of yourself ice cold food un eat able and then when you offered a refund you made us go through the bin to find it because you wouldn't just give us the money back without it. What you are gonna do with it I'm unsure I'm guessing putting it into some else's food

We ordered Special curry and chips twice. Every single prawn had not been cleaned and still had the bowel, with contents in place. Absolutely disgusting and inedible. We do not want to eat fasces. I am totally shocked. This takeaway used to be the best in Town. I won't be going again.

Very poor for the price not worth it

Ordered and picked up a meal earlier this week, never before have I tasted such bland boring food from any other Chinese takeaway anywhere in the world. Even the cheap frozen chips were only half cooked. Shame as it used to be one of the best. Won't be going back!!!!!!

Just tried this place as our usual place was shut and wow!!! Superb food and great value catered for our needs no msg etc and still packed with flavour this is now our usual!!

Great food every time good portion sizes and super fast delivery

Birthday treat spoilt. Over £20 for two meals bland and wartery. Unexpected delivery charge and the usual bag of free prawn crackers. Missing. Apparently delivery charge has always been applied (Checked the online and printed menue) . Not in the last five years have we paid it , nor have we had such poor food. Very dissapointed

We just ordered. A main course and 2 chips when it comes no chips tried to phone number tell them no answer this is 2nd time had problems with them never use them again

Terrible service missed item upon delivery. Which they missed off then I had to wait AND pay for the item THEY missed. Will never use again!! OH AND THE FOOD WAS COLD.
