Great food can never complain about it

We ordered a takeaway and invited our neighbours to dine with us. We ordered a variety of dishes. The order was accurate and ready on time. Food was fresh, flavoursome and everyone enjoyed sharing, especially the Malaysian special dishes. We've ate in the restaurant on various occasions and have always enjoyed the experience.

I wanted to try the New City as I have never been there before, and always use Chinatown opposite. I was disappointed with the food. The pancake rolls were greasy, the pork dish was packed out with vegetables, as was the hot and sour soup. On a positive note the crackers and the rice were good. I will carry on with Chinatown as the food is much better quality.

I orders my food at 00.10 and at 1.20 they said it will take another 25 mins I was estimated 1pm when I placed order . Rubbish service don’t bother

Ordered a takeaway via Uber eats. Delivery within timescales however good b disappointing. Ribs looked like a very pasty looking soggy mess. Prawn toast tasted of vinegar?House special chowmein included awful looking grey seafood (see picture) and was small portion. Garlic beef lovely to taste but extremely small portion and literally just beef and small bit of spring onion, no veg. Small portion again, half a Tupperware tib at best. Overall not one to be repeated

Stopped here for dinner after a long day, although not on menu we asked about Gluten Free, as was informed possible. After some confusion around which dishes we could order GF, the food was freshly cooked & absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly & helpful, prices very reasonable. Highly Recommend.

On holiday, fancied a take away, had a Chinese from here. Not the best, not the worst. Would use again.

Superb night, food was excellent and gr8 service. My son had a gr8 16th Birthday. Will definitely go again. Hidden Gen been there for 56 yrs. Highly recommend Lemon chicken. Thankyou.

After placing order at 6.05pm food arrived at 8pm. Cold. Wrong order on some food. I tried calling to complain.... No answer. I order regularly from here. Tonight the worse,food and delivery time.

Terrible food, kids left to run around screaming and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Don’t waste your money.

Fantastic grub and great staff, decent portions for the coin and friendly staff. Our lass loved it. Order chicken balls and they weren’t greasy which make a great change

This review is not so much about the food which was ok except for the Szechuan Mix Veg but more about receiving a wrong dish and being overcharged. The dish I ordered was Singapore Fried Rice but received a Chow Mein dish and to add “insult to injury” overcharged as well! Check before you take your takeaway!
