The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

I cant fault the fish and chips in this place. I've been coming here for years. Very underrated in my opinion.

We have used the Bamboo regularly over the past 1 1/2 years we have lived in Exmouth. Excellent service and catering to food allergies. Good menu and food is excellent. Delivery service great.

There have been some mixed reviews for this place. When we got there at 6.30 it was early and we were the only people, the hearing wasn’t on and no music, however the owner did pop the hearing on and some music, it changed the ambience straight away, it’s a basic looking restaurant but we found the service and food pretty decent. We are vegetarian so had some bean curd dishes, Singapore noodles.. they were quite nice and we were happy to pay the service charge

Delicious food! I ordered online and it was ready when we arrived, piping hot. All the dishes we had were lovely and it was reasonably priced. Will visit again when we are in the area.

Amazing food.

The staff are bordering impolite. The food hygiene rating is lower than I would like. The prices are higher than local competitors. They are extremely tight by not handing out free prawn crackers. But this is still my first choice Chinese, as food is dam well tasty. Been ordering for over ten years and not had food poisoning yet!

This Chinese place gave me food poisoning. I’m still suffering and it’s been nearly 2 weeks. DO NOT order from here.

Tried Jumbo house for the first time, can’t speak for any of the meat/fish dishes as I am vegetarian, but the quality and flavour was great! Vegetable noodles, vegetable curry, rice and chips

Had a takeaway from this restaurant and it was very poor. Starters lacked any substance and were very very salty to the point where the seaweed was almost to unbearable. The duck in orange sauce was disgusting and was almost like orange squash than a sauce. All in all not good!

Booked for a large group celebration. Good selection of food. Buffet style but you order what you want from the menu. Lots of choices and all arrived hot, with plenty to choose from. Staff were friendly and attentive. We took our own birthday cake and they were happy to provide knife, plates, forks etc. First time coming, but would definitely return.

Probably the worst Chinese I’ve had! Not very warm, very little sauce for the chicken balls, no flavour throughout, very disappointing

We came here on an impromptu visit (7 of us) and they seated us right away. Our drinks order was taken as soon as we were seated and our food order shortly afterwards once they had brought the drinks. The starters came very quickly and were amazing. We then were left alone for 15/20 minutes, which was most welcome as we were almost full following the starters. We then ordered our mains which again came promptly, with every dish probably being the best Chinese that I've ever had. I will come back here again, and at £24.95 per adult and £10 per child (under 10), it was very well priced too.

Bit hit and miss this place. Randomly went twice in a week. First time was superb. Manager is a bit strange felt like he was hanging around us alot and always in the background staring. Annoyed me a bit that he said we better eat all the food we ordered. But on the whole the food was all good. Second time. The service was really not good. Left us forever with the starters and didn't take them away and take mains ordered I just had two ask again and again. When they brought the mains they lefts us with no plates or cutlery for ages and again had to ask twice which wasn't good. Food was good as always. Prices for the made to order buffet have certainly gone up alot since the last time I went
