The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

We went to Subway today (Xmas Eve) as it is our son's Birthday and he chose to have Subway for lunch - it seems to be a bit of an Xmas Eve tradition now. The staff were friendly and polite and the food was good, as you would expect from Subway. After I had paid, my son asked the member of staff if he would have some potato tots/wedges. The man asked me if this was ok. It was ok as it was his birthday but before I had given my response he had already offered them for free to him 'as it was Xmas.' Little did he realise that he had made my son's birthday even more special by this act of kindness. It has recently had a refurb and is very snazzy and comfy in there. I think the pleasant staff make the Subway an enjoyable experience.

Worst Chinese I have ever had … special fried rice was stodgy and no flavour, black bean with chicken … I have no idea what the meat was but it was slimey. Prawn toast burnt and no flavour… expensive and disgusting!

Had food 10days ago it was lovely so ordered again but unfortunately it was not edible cold watery and meat didn't taste cooked we had to throw it all away really put me off 🤢

Decidí tener un chino con la novia y la suegra, escuché un montón de buenas críticas sobre la porcelana real, y para mi consternación fue horrible. Las papas fueron quemadas y definitivamente fueron recocidas. La carne de chow main sabía que el DOG era insípido y como masticar una banda elástica. El arroz estaba frío como la piedra y ni siquiera me hace comenzar con las salsas que pedimos. La salsa barbacoa era de rango puro y parecía y sabía a una salsa especiada, la salsa cantonesa era simple y sosa. Lo mejor de la comida completa fue la galleta de gambas y aún así no tenía curvas ni ranuras para colocar la comida. Pedimos que se la entregaran poco después de las 11 y media, no llegó hasta una buena hora y 15 minutos después. que en ese momento ya habíamos pasado nuestra etapa de hambre y solo queríamos ir a dormir.

Absolutely despicable customer service. I received the wrong item and when I called to inform them, I was met with a rude and unhelpful response. I was told that they would call me back. I didn't accept that response. They then said they would send the correct item but it'd take a while cause it was busy. I said I wanted a refund as the rest of the food would go cold. The lady was humming and haring and said I would get a refund then hung up. I never received the refund. Disgusting behaviour and no way to treat customers should you want people to return. You have now lost 2 customers and all of those I'll be advising to stay away from you.
