Got our order wrong and wouldn’t bring the correct dish out to us. We placed a big order and thought that was quite rude. The girl on the phone blamed us when it was clearly their mistake.

Fantastic take away, best in the area

I have been ordering from here for years and value for money is great and food itself is lovely except for their satay sauce which is like water with barely any flavour, unfortunately this is my favourite Chinese dish so it sucks that I can't order my satay chicken skewers however their salt and pepper chicken and bbq ribs is lush so I order that. One thing I will make a complaint of is you can't order the tue, wed, Fri, Sun offer online anymore which is a major issue because trying to get through via phone can be a nightmare and did prevent me from ordering one night so if you guys fix that which should be common sense and look at your satay sauce (maybe try The Cantons) as a example cause theirs is awesome! then I maybe be able to really sing your praises and bump you up a star or 2.

Good food and cooking. But there looks like child labour because the was a small antisocial boy who was asked how much for a shift and he said 15 quid for 4 hours. There is also quite a wait for food so I’d order in advance next time

Ordered a delivery at 18.15 asking for a delivery at 20.30, so plenty of time given. At 20.50, the order had not arrived, so I called them. I was told it would be at least 15 minutes, which probably meant half an hour, as they were waiting for a driver. Cancelled the order will not being going back!

I would give zero if I could. The worse food I have ever eaten and the service online was awful. I wouldn’t recommend

Honestly the worst Chinese I’ve ever had, no care taken at all. The food was also delivered late and to top it off extremely rude over the phone! Do not order!

Sadly not the experience we were used to 4 years ago (moved out of the area) Firstly overcharged by using the '4 dishes' selection (cheaper ordered without) spent £23.75 and no prawn crackers. Small portions. Thank goodness I ordered OK sauce to make everything tasty. Hopefully its a 'one off' experience.

The best Chinese food in the area and a reasonable price with super fast delivery. Love the Friday and Sunday offer any 4 dishes for £16.95. The food is very tasty and great portions. Staff are all very nice too. Great place!

We order every weekend pretty much and it's always good! But tonight has topped it off for me. Everything was soggy, not hot, the chicken in three dishes were tough to eat and horrible and the Noddle dishes were mushy.. have they got new management or something ? Honestly food was rubbish.

Really disappointed ordered our food that we usually order (we drive from quite a distance to get this chinese) waited an hour in the shop to get it, get home and realise they have given us the wrong order! 3 right items without the three other items so we ended up with 2 foo yungs and some chicken to eat between 3 people (mistakes happen) but what I am most disappointed with is the after service we called to get the issue rectified to be told all they would offer is a free meal next time we visit, we'll that doesn't help us today and also cover the cost of what was missing either. Terrible customer service! In future will be going back to the Chinese 2 doors away might be a longer wait but at least the foods right.

Order here regularly and for the price you pay, the food is always well cooked and the portion sizes are good. Once they sent one wrong dish and done everything they could to rectify it and ensure I was happy. Excellent customer service.

Hurendous food , me and my partner had late night delivery and have had hurendous food poisoning, chips were still frozen and everything was luk warm was terrible first and last time we come here !! Avoid

Food arrived on time but was a real disappointment. Tasted warmed up from day before, other parts cold..ended up in the bin! Was supposed to be a family treat, what a waste of £50

What the hell has happened. We use this company frequently and recently they have disappointed. We get told 45 mins to an hour after 2 hours the food is not what it was. Tonight again the same 45 to an hour after phoning to complain the food turned up around 10 mins later. We refused the food and the driver was bargaining with us saying 10 pound instead of the nearly 20. Someone somewhere needs to take this to where it used to be not the s*it show it is at present. We understand its Friday night and busy but it used to be delivered in their timescales. Be honest

Poor service if they give you a time add an hour……? Told food would be within an hour and still didn’t turn up rang them and was laughing down the phone at us. They don’t care will take your order and then keep you waiting if you want your food on time for an evening about 5pm and you might get it.

Waited over 2 hours for delivery kept saying 20mins every time I rang no apology, if you are that busy you shouldn't keep taking orders, paid extra for delivery and it's still not ready given no compensation! Or refund

Unfortunately, after being recommended this take away I tried it today. It was revolting - so salty, nothing that's crispy is crispy and it has a very 'old' taste to it, like old fat, I have had to throw it away for fear of being very unwell. I do not recommend at all. Disgusting!

Only discovered when our regular takeaway closed for an extended period, but this is now our favourite. The telephone ordering process is super-efficient, the collection is great, and the food is consistently good. 👌

They get very busy at weekends so order early but always lovely food fresh and hot.

For the second time recently, I specifically ordered my curry WITHOUT onions. And for the second time it turned up WITH onions. I hate onions in my Chinese food. Rather than complain, I’ll now order from the Chinese takeaway 2 doors away from this place. Actions speak louder than words. Tonight’s meal has gone from the delivery carton into the dustbin. Terrible service. Imagine if I’d said no peanuts! Total waste of money.

Absolutely top nosh and at 35st I can’t even finish the portion sizes and the delivery driver was great a top service all round

Has to be one of the worst Chinese takeaways I have ever had. The food was greasy, the chicken was hard and the ribs were just fatty! I called them back and said the food wasn’t great and all they offered me was £5 for the £31 order I placed!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Will never go back again!

This has got to be by far the best Chinese in this area. We've tried so many and going by reviews isn't always the best policy. Everyone's taste is different but this takeaway the food is fresh, cooked perfectly and not stodgy like others 'close by' to rated higher!

They say a picture paints a 1000 words, well imagine my face when I opened up the order from happy Palace which arrived over 2 hours after ordering. Not only was the food soggy and clearly been left under a heat lamp for god knows how long, but my curry had its own special ingredients!!!! This is one place I would avoid like covid

Just picked up a phone order for king prawns with cashews and pork with cashews and egg fried rice. Firstly the credit card machine wasnt working, so me and 3 other customers had to go to a local cash machine which charged 90p for the transaction. The meal was nothing like the picture on their menu, it was full of carrots onions water chestnuts, no red pepper hardly any cashews, and very tasteless. Wont be going back!

The best chinese takeaway by far! Food is delicious and cooked to perfection. My family and I always order from these when we fancy chinese. ☆☆☆☆☆

We ordered takeaway on the all eat app as recommended by the website. After an hour the food was not delivered so I called the shop and was given an updated estimate for delivery and an apology for the delay. The food was delicious and good value as we had ordered from the special Tuesday menu. I would recommend the midweek deal for value for money, I also recommend ordering early just in case of delay and don't hesitate to call to get an update on order progress.

Waited a bit longer than expected but definitely worth the wait. Food was lovely and great value for money. They offer some great 1/2 and 1/2 box meals which is ideal for me when I'm working away. Highly recommended

My moms shop is great! I love it! She gives me free food. Literally. I tried the beef curry, the chicken ball, the chips, the nuggets and if I choose something out of 10 I would choose 10 out of 10 for everything!

Great Chinese food. Used to use the one on Canford Heath which was always good but recently it’s been really greasy. Happy Palace isn’t greasy at all. Their King Prawn Curry is amazing, huge prawns and lots of them. Chicken Balls are massive compared to other place too. Will continue using Happy Palace. Thoroughly recommend.

Easy to order over the phone with polite staff. We always get delivery & the food arrives in good time & piping hot. Possibly the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. We're now regular customers.

Great customer service with friendly and helpful staff. Never had an issue with incorrect orders and out of the many times I have ordered here over the years my delivery has only been late by ten minutes one time. Would recommend and is definatly my go to takeaway.

Was the worst Chinese we’ve ever had, it was luke warm, soggy and awful taste, very salty and a strange perfume taste..most of it went in the bin. First and definitely last time from them!

They’re my go to Chinese. I just wish on peak times they’d have more Drivers working.

I discovered this takeaway when my usual was closed. Been back twice now and very nice food and staff. They do an excellent specials menu and everything I've had is cooked beautifully. This is now my new Chinese takeaway! Good job Happy Palace 😊

We ordered from these quite often, never had any problems until we ordered off them as a birthday treat for our daughter. When the order arrived we noticed they forgot something off our order. We phoned them up straight away, asked if they could send it out. There response was No! They will give it to us free on our next order! We paid for this item, which they refused to send us! Disgusting service! Not ordering from them again! I would advise not to order from them.

Gave Happy Palace a go as our regular is closed for annual holidays I had to go and pick it up but it was no big deal. It was well worth it.........,,.Our regular might have just shot themselves in the foot!

Love the food from here always hot fresh and tasty also the value for money is great especially on a Tuesday and a Wednesday when they do four dishes for £11.95. Tonight I had chicken curry, chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken that fed two adults and two children no problem.

Just ordered beef green paper in black been sauce and asked for not put any salt in my food as I have high blood pressure ! But the food is REALLY SALTY even a healthy person cant eat this much salt ! I phoned the shop to complain, but they told me they cant change it because the sauce they use its ready made ! Didn't even offer me refund ! 🙁 so disappointed 😡 This is my first and the last time ordering from this shop ! Hate to leave negative feedback but customer health should come first but this shop DON'T CARE !

I ordered from here a while ago. The food arrived late and was stone cold . I rang and complained and they made me drive the food back to them. When i entered the shop i was met a bunch of teenagers who ridiculed me "thats alright ill eat it" .."whats wrong with that!?" etc etc. The guy in charge didn't seem to pick up on the sarcasm and intimidating smirks coming from his staff but he did seem very eager to refund me. Shame as the food would had been lovely if it arrived in time and hot.

Introduced by a friend and I have to say this is a brilliant chinese, a little rough and ready round the edges but I haven't had a bad meal in over two years of using this takeaway, its also super value for money on the Tuesday and Wednesday menu deals!

I phoned up and complained and was shocked that the best the lady could offer was discount on my next order with them. I mean that was offensive in its self. I will not be ordering again. After explaining myself for a 2nd time and wanting to be compensated for this. She finally said ok £6 I laughed and said excuse me my whole meal is untouched. she said for delivery charge and Fanta I said surely that would be over £10 atleast even if I would accept to pay for the bbq ribs. Cut the story short she offered me £8 and would not agree to compensate me my order. I find this utterly disgraceful that a whole meal that has been ruined and isn’t particularly cheap if it’s ended up in the bin has still cost me £8. Delivery charge is only £1. Customer service awful I would not of even bothered with this review if they did the right thing and compensated me the entire bill and collected all the untouched food!

It was a little later than said but the food was well worth the wait. Honestly for £36 six people could not finish the amount of food delivered and the food tasted amazing. On the plus side the lady who delivered was really friendly and chirpy. Highly recommend

This is a great take away in the middle of the Waterloo Estate in Poole. The food is great and they have some good offers (4 dishes for £10.95 Tue, Wed and 4 dishes for £12.95 Fri & Sun - larger choice). They deliver in a wide area, though I usually collect. Things to try are: Hot and Sour soup, The starter box, and Crispy Chilli beef. It's reasonably priced and they are able to prepare large quantities of food - I've ordered for 30+ on a number of occasions and it all come hot! Recommended

I've been using this place for about a year now. I was initially put off by how dated it looks - an old fish and chip shop - but I'm so glad I ignored that. Very tasty, very quick, traditional Chinese meals. Some good offers on different days of the week. I highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken balls

Very good .. we enjoyed our meal and was very well priced, there was plenty .. we ordered over the phone, we was told the meal would be ready in 10 to 15mins and it was, it was also piping hot. Well done Happy Palace we will be using you again 😀🍴

We have lived in Dorset for just over 4.5yrs, have tried various different Chinese Takeaways. This is only the 2nd one that I would rate really Good! In fact I have to be honest and say....it's THE BEST! We live in a village just outside Wimborne and this is the only Chinese Takeaway that will deliver, what a treat! We ordered for the first time last night! All the food was Top quality, very tasty, all ingredients fresh ......(understatement, it was DEVINE!) Friendly and efficient service over the phone and very friendly delivery husband & wife couple! Looks like we've got Our New Chinese sorted! Looking forward to the leftovers tonight! Really Surprised there are not more reviews about this place! HIGHLY Recommended and Tx to our neighbours for recommending 😊

Decided to have Chinese but regular take away closed on a Tuesday, found a leaflet drop menu for this place. Menu was pretty comprehensive, then I found on the back that on a Tuesday or Wednesday they have 'four dishes for £10', choice of 57 dishes! Thought they might be smaller portions & as we normally spend about twenty quid decided to get 8 dishes for £20. Order given 40 minutes later piping hot Chinese food at the door! The portions were of a regular size & the food was delicious, would easily feed four, we had it over two days & were 'stuffed' both days. I am under no doubts that we will be changing to this place from now on, especially when we have the whole family round for the evening. I would recommend this take away to bother locals & those visiting or staying for a break in the area. You may need to pay £1 delivery if you are over three miles from the kitchen.

Food always excellent and a wide choice available. Friendly, fast service. Not had a bad one here and would highly recommend.
