Lovely chips generous servings always fresh and lovely staff. Always try and pop in when visiting family in the area.

Food was lovely. Had a chicken chow mein and a chicken and beef chow mein. Only down side is it could have done with a bit more meat in it but other than that it was lovely

Myself and friends had a takeaway this evening, I was not disappointed one bit food 5 stars friendly 5 stars service 5 stars cleanliness 5 stars value for money 5 stars I would recommend this takeaway for sure

This was the first and last time I have used this chinese. The satay chicken skewers had no peanut flavour just really salty chicken ball batter was horrible to crispy and hard crunchy batter with chicken like rubber Singapore rice noodles bland no flavour with next to no meat, even the curry sauce was disgusting I can honestly say that was the worst Chinese of my life I would advise people to stay away from this place absolutely awful disgusting food!!!!!!!

Ordered chips and fish cakes for delivery .. a soggy greasy mess is what arrived .. the paper was that wet with grease it was falling apart ..no crispness at all to the batter on the fish cakes .. horrible

Went to try this one out as my local one was closed for some reason tonight. Visited here for the first time and I will definitely be back as the service is very good & the food is great. Value for money with a lot more choice.

Best chips about and can't go wrong with the Chinese food either. The chicken balls are always yummy and crispy.

Iv NEVER had a bad meal from here.. moved to area in 2006 used them since 2007... Lovley staff from back in the day to date.

We went here tonight because our local Chinese is closed. The food was just bland and greasy. No flavour at all.

i use this place as and when and they supply reasonably well priced quality chinese and fish and chip food with great service

Great food (sausage in batter with chips and curry sauce) and staff are welcoming and friendly. Definetly coming back for my weekly chinese.

I believe that as an English citizen I should not be discriminated by foreing shop holders that refuse to deliver to me due to the simple fact they can't understand what I am saying this is am outrage as I believe I shouldn't have to speak Chinese to get my Chinese

Terrible delivery service. They charge £2.50 and then delivery is a case of 'when they can be bothered', ignore delivery times and expect a long wait after which the food is not very good. Better to use Aroma in Havant. Much better delivery and food standards. Seriously disappointed with Cheerful Dragon.

Had a Chinese chicken curry+fried rice last night from here.. Really nice, not overly spicy+the rice was tasty. Will def have a meal from here again 😋

Always loved this chippy but I was disappointed the chips wasn’t up to there normal standards it was like they were there morning chips and the warmed them up.

Since I'm not a meat eater I love the mixed vegetable curry they sell. No trouble at all for them when I ask for something taking out and extra cauliflower adding instead. Lovely chips too 😍 My husband loves the chicken curry and deep fried wontons. Food always arrives hot with not much of a wait after calling.

Disgusting quality of food & service from both the fish & chip shop & Chinese take away sides as every time we've used it, its bad. Whenever we go there, the lady gives her local customers preferential treatment by chatting for ages & ignores us, we then almost always get overcharged or short changed by her for ordering what we want, plus my Husband likes chips with his curry, so she makes a big thing about taking the money for the chips separately, then after waiting uncomfortably for the food, its usually bad, but tonight they excelled themselves, we are never going back! When we got our order home, my king prawn curry had hardly any small prawns in it, my Husband's beef curry was full of mushroom & only a couple of pieces of tough beef, the sauce was watery from a packet with too much water from the kettle, my egg fried rice was just soggy wet boiled pudding rice, so sweet, but the thing that usually outshines everything making us go back is the chips, my Husband adores them, but not tonight, she gave most of the chips cooked to a regular customer, so all we got were the stone cold rock hard scalpings wrapped up, everything was utterly disgusting, it all went in the bin where it belonged.

I used to love this chippy but lately on a Friday we like chip shop chips but they seem dry like they were the afternoon chips not very good it didn’t happen once it’s a few times at about 5.15 on Fridays I might give it one more try .

I'm only giving them one star as it's impossible to not give any. I ordered my family dinner from them it came and my chicken and cashew nuts had leaked all over my chips and there was no juice left in the container. so phone them back and after an argument with the owners they sent some more out but drained all the juice off before putting it in the box. so one dry dinner for me not happy and won't be ordering from them again

Had a Chinese from here last night it was awful. Food was greasy and tasted of old oil. Never again

Gran servicio, la comida era muy buena y caliente. Estoy muy contento con la comida y el servicio que me dieron! El personal era amable y considerado con el entorno y las personas que entraban a la tienda. Las patatas fritas eran para morirse, nunca he tenido un problema con el dragón alegre. Incluso cuando están ocupados, todavía están muy rápido y eficiente. Muy contentos! Comida de primera calidad! Y un servicio de primera clase!

Never again will i go to this place. The chips were hard and cold and the fish looked like it had been recooked, the cheese burger was also inedible. Not a very nice experience at all .

Waiting for ever to be acknowledged let alone serve. Then a "regular" walks in and gets served immediately. Poor service guys.

It has excellent standards it was extremely quick. I once had a delivery and it was still hot and the fish is different from any shop I had before and I never like takeaway from any shop except for this one. I highly recommend this shop for any people who is finding an excellent takeaway or delivery.

I've used this Chinese a few times now and it's delicious I always order home delivery and it's always quick and hot. The chicken balls are the very best I've tried and I've tried lots. The portion size is very generous and value for money.

The cheerful dragon does Chinese and fish and chips, I have ordered from here a few times and am Impressed. The fish and chips is standard however the Chinese is amazing; especially the chicken balls. Nearly all food is at a reasonable price.

Good place to go whether you want fish and chips or a Chinese! Their food is nice I would definitely recommend coming here and they also deliver which is a bonus
