I absolutely love this place the people are kind the foods great I go pretty much every week

Horrible food , waited and hour and thought what a waste of money everything was cold chips was dry curry wasn’t to bad compared to the rest of it

I LOVE IT BEST CHINESE FOOD IN LEIGH PARK IF YOU TRY IT GET THE CHOW MAIN YUMMMMMMMMMMMM

This is our go to food everytime we want takeout.. always good and cook to perfection and good amount of food for the price we pay. We travel 15 mins for this and its still perfect when we're home.

I definitely recommend this place. The food here is one of the best Chinese I've had. The people here are also very nice.

Always use golden boat and usually good food. Unfortunately on this occasion it wasnt there usual standard. Chips cold and like rubber. Food was luke warm.

It is very quick and easy to order food online or from in the shop. The staff are always very helpful if a problem arises, as for the food itself it is very delicious and tasty, the portion sizes are very good. Delivery is also very quick.

If this Chinese was 20 miles away I would still drive past all the others to get a take away. I am a vegetarian and I don't give anyone a second chance. The way they do their mock meat is perfect. Ask them to add it it to any meal and they will. Been getting my Chinese from these for about 5 years now and food is consistently perfect. These people take absolute pride in what they cook and have no problem adapting to suit each individual needs. My family also enjoy their lovely takeaway. If my children and I enjoy it, then it’s the perfect takeaway for me. Thank you very much. I would recommend people going to this fantastic takeaway.

Took 2 hours from ordering to the food arriving. Called twice (30 minutes apart) to be told the food had left both times, lies. Won't ever order again.

I decided to re-visit this local take away after purchasing such a disgusting meal from there last year, and what a lovely surprise as the king prawn curry & egg fried rice I ordered was cooked to perfection & still hot by time I walked home, a friendly chef who brought my meal out to the counter too!

After 3 hours of waiting for food there were several phone calls with the Chinese place with them passing blame and refusing to take responsibility, and after charging me for my food I never received they told me they would not send me anything. This is an absolute disgrace. The person on the phone didn’t have a clue what to do and could never give a straight answer to reasonable questions. Disgrace and embarrassment in every sense of the word

Order our meal at 6.10, advised would be an and hour to hour and half, called again at 7.50, to be told that our meal hadn't even been started yet. Absolutely appalling service, can't comment on the food, as this was my first experience of them. Certainly wouldn't recommend them.

Must admit it went down hill for a bit....thought I'd give it another try and was fine.....been going here since my childhood

Have used them on numerous occasion for me and my lover, we enjoyed the food it wasn't salty or greasy just good flavors, I would recommend this Chinese.

What a disgraceful new business/ownership since the last time I visited, i ordered the king prawn curry & egg fried rice, what I got was an almost stone cold onion curry with a watery sauce that looked & tasted like pure slimy grease, with rice that tasted like I was having a milky starchy dessert, utter garbage & if I'd of eaten it, I would of been sick for days!

I had the chow mein, it wasn’t great. It didn’t taste like much and was very slimy. Just gross really

Would prefer traditional Chinese food as was with previous owners. No meat, plenty helpings of onions and sauces/thin tasteless gravy are the norm....will not be going back !!!! Recommendations? I stand by my comments. Thought I'd give them another chance. No change, traditional cooking and quality lost.......

I always get great food and service here. I like their happy meals. If you aren't so hungry, they offer a smaller portion of a meal with rice inside one container. I recommend this place.

NOT WORTHY OF ONE STAR,,SADLY HAD TO POST ONE STAR TO BE ABLE TO WRITE REVIEW.......TOTALLY,,TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!Had been loyal,regular customer 20+years,,always fantastic food,,used to be best chow mein in area..not had anything to do with Golden Boat for over 7month now,,last order was disgusting,,hour late,,cold,chips hard,chow mein just noodles..when i complained,,was just ''fobbed'' off,,they went under new management without any notification,,this establishment have zero concerns for customer satisfaction..food should never be sent out in the way it does,,TOTALLY DISGUSTING,,AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Had to give 1 star to write review. *****AVOID*****AVOID*****AVOID***** Do not use this take away the food I ordered was absolutely disgusting pancake rolls were off actually made me retch when I bit into it chow mein noodles over cooked and in bits sweet and sour chicken balls rock hard. Used to be a good take away I will NEVER return or order from there again. You have been warned

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. AVOID##AVOID##AVOID. Absolutely horrific. I could never send this kind of food out if i ran a takeaway. There is no excuse for how bad this food was with no exaggeration needed. Nothing like before was a brilliant chinese until taken over. All food was terrible. Chips were rock hard and hours old like the morning after. The noodles were in bits totally overcooked. Small portions of fish and meat. Old overcooked and am absolute abomination. Was nothing that was above average. Disgraceful customer service and when asked for refund demanded food and opened up trays on doorstep slamming them around like a child totally unprofessional. Man came with 7 yr old child to translate and argue on doorstep whils throwing food trays around on the floor on my doorstep.

Es cambiado de manos hace algún tiempo y ahora es horrible, curry muy aguados y todo no tienen sabor, muy soso. Es una pena ya que solía ser un gran lugar para comida china
