My food was delivered quickly & was piping hot. Delicious BBQ spare ribs, sesame prawn toast, shredded chilli beef & Singapore chow mein 😋 I have no criticism with the food or service but, they really need to update their website. They offer free delivery if order is over £18 & in a 3 mile radius but don't, because it's an old website. Delivery cost isn't much, but that's not the point. They also have an option to offer feedback, but it doesn't work 🙄 Apart from that, I was very happy with my food ☺️

Absolutely shocking. Inedible food. Raw chicken balls and ribs just full of sinew. Ended up throwing it away. Never again!

Very bad food rude service when trying to complain chicken balls not cooked chips hard and chicken chow mien was cold and very bland no flavour to food very disappointed as this is now second meal from there

Excellent food and lovely staff. Have had many home deliveries done and the drivers are very quick and cheerful. Highly recommended.

I have eaten here a number of times and most often end up profoundly regretting the experience. The only other Chinese is the Mandarin and they always seem to be closed sadly.

Ordered several dishes for a family of 6 on a Saturday night. Took an hour to arrive but was excellent quality. Various dishes all very good standard. I don’t order often but they have never left me down when I do. Members of our family are not from this area but all commented on the meal being hot and such good quality.

Food came and looked unappealing, when dishing up I found a black hair in one of the dishes. Customer service wasn’t that great either as they didn’t seem bothered by the incident and would only give a discount on my next meal. Totally put me off my food so all went in the bin. I will not be ordering from here again!

AWFUL! January this year I ordered a takeaway for my family from this restaurant as I was recommended by a friend. I will NEVER order from this restaurant again, an hour and a half delivery turned into a 3 HOUR wait and when the food arrived it was STONE COLD. The staff on the telephone repeatedly told me the food was out for delivery each time I called but when the driver arrived he told me it was only given to him 15 minutes before. I demanded a refund from the manager who avoided contact with me and a month later I have still not received a refund for the 3 hour wait and stone cold food that was delivered whilst my family were starving. DO NOT waste your money! The staff do not care about their employees or their customers.

Sadly this takeaway has lost its way on every count The food doesn’t taste fresh and has little flavour! and the staff are indifferent to you as a customer 😢 I live within a 5 minute walk I now go to Havant Aroma if I fancy a Chinese meal It’s become expensive since COVID And you have to spend £15 minimum to use a credit card😱

Randomly refused to deliver to our address anymore with no reason whatsoever. Management refused to explain the reason behind this .was a loyal customer for a good couple of years .I would strongly advise any one who expect a fair service to stay well clear .

1:5hour wait for 3 chicken chows and a egg foo yung... food totally inedible .!! Called and the Boss lady has lost the ability to speak any English..I feel for the staff who have to deflect the complaints for this fraudulent Chinese takeaway... Keep your 10 percent token gesture. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!

We ordered a set menu for three (prawn crackers, ribs, beef with mushroom, sweet & sour chicken, chicken satay, spicy vegetables and egg fried rice) plus one additional dinner, a Kung Po chicken. Everything arrived in good time and was hot. Cash on delivery. Really tasty, good quality food. Good portion sizes too. Would definitely recommend.

This takeaway serves a very wide range of dishes. The food we had was tasty and reasonably priced. The service was fairly efficient and the food delivered quickly.

Where to start! Really horrible food. I mean really. Avoid this place. Travelled down to see a friend and he had ordered takeout. Seems it’s the only Chinese in town otherwise it would be closed. Very sorry but nothing good to say. I phoned and complained about the food but the lady pretended she didn’t understand me.

have just tried to order 3 chicken currys, all no vegetables 1 with egg fried rice, 1 with chips 1 with nothing. 1st tried to charge delivery, never been charged before, as i live under 3 miles. when questioned this he passed to another person who wanted to take my order, again After 5 minutes of her trying to understand the order and still unable repeat it back correctly i said dont bother! Sorry, no faith I would get correct order. 10 mins of my life I will never get back. Useless. Never get my custom again.

Disgusting. Greasy and no flavour! Hard to identify ingredients and expensive! How is this still open we will never order again. Lucky for them they are only one in town otherwise would be closed down!!

Chinese takeaway that takes some beating. Yes it took a while to get through on the phone because they were busy but there are lots of reasons for that. The young lady that took our order was helpful patient and extremely well spoken. We opted for the free delivery option and it arrived quickly and right to our door -A pontoon at the marina! Very smart car and pleasant deluvery guy. Then the food - WOW! Starting with the best spring rolls ever, followed by crispy duck with masses of pancakes and finishing with a huge portion of pork chow mein - FANTASTIC

Thought I’d give this takeaway another go due to convenience. Kung P.O. chicken ordered but disappointed due to lack of chicken and very vinegary sauce. I suggest using other Chinese takeaways in locale I.e. Mandarin

Terrible insipid bland tasteless food , my sweet sour chicken was the worst I have ever had .. Not a Chinese person to be seen just English people behind the counter .. New China needs new owners !...

This place looked more upmarket than the Golden Chopsticks up the road so we decided to give it a try.The sesame prawn toasts were delicious but that was about as far as it went. The chef needs somebody to explain that throwing half a bottle of Hoi Sin sauce into a dish DOES NOT make it authentic or even nice. The flavourings were either too strong (the hoi sin knackered both the ribs and the kung po beef) or too weak (wet tasteless chinese leaves). Next time I am in the area the Golden Chopsticks will definitely be getting my business again.

Fairly typical Chinese food. Can't say I have ever had a bad meal here, but it is nothing exceptional, but quite tasty.

great selection, great quality and offers delivery - always busy - our number 1 option for a takeaway. Menu d is excellent value.

Ordered Kung Po Prawn and a bean curd dish....the kung po prawn dish was absolutely disgusting. The batter tasted burnt and the dish had so much vinegar in it that it was inedible! Honestly hands down the worst chinese takeaway food I have ever had!

We were staying nearby and as we arrived late in the evening we didn't want to cook. Found the New China Takeaway. Food was ok and service was very quick.

Phoned up for a delivery .... very quick in delivering.... altho the lady on the phone was a bit awful... the food was hot...usual high standard and quality and the delivery driver was very chirpy

Great takeaway with great food and quick delivery from polite staff. The prawn toast is the best I have ever had. The chicken in the sweet and sour balls is very tender.

Delivery staff tried to run us off the road, boss wasn't interested.... kitchen is filthy!! Avoid!! There are many other much better Chinese cuisine options in the Emsworth area!!!

Estaba visitando a mis padres, que había pedido una comida para llevar China nueva y he recogido en mi camino a través de verlas. No solemos tener comida para llevar y no me he de nuevo desde el lugar en particular. Esperé cinco minutos o así para la orden de que se acabara, aunque había sido previamente llamó, así que no puedo entender por qué, después de llegar a mis padres y sirve la comida inmediatamente ya estaba bastante frío y congealing. Gracias a Dios por el microondas! No parece muy apetecible, así que se negaron a comer nada. Mis padres comentaron que no era el mejor y dijo que no volvería a pedir de nuevo desde allí.

Excellent staff and very friendly and the food is amazing always so tasty and loads of flavour. It is very clean and the price is very good for anyone after something good to eat and they will deliver to a large area which is good

Good flavours, generous portions and not at all greasy as many takeaways are. Prices are average for the area.Staff are friendly and delivery is usually very quick early evening. Can't say I've had a bad dish from them.

We never really use New China however as our usual (Mandarin) was shut as it is every Monday we decided to try somewhere else. And it really was no comparison, it wasn't as tasty as our usual chinese and the chips weren't very fresh. Such a shame as we were looking forward to trying somewhere new, and thought it would be good food as generally Mondays are quiet for takeaways. Will be sticking to the Mandarin in future :(

We had a great takeaway on New Years Eve whilst visiting Emsworth. We were stating on the Marina and there was no problem with them delivering to there. We had some good vegan options with lots of tofu and the portions were good and hearty. It wasn't greasy like Chinese food can be. Would recommend! The black bean sauce was divine.

Good quality Chinese takeaway. The food is cooked well and lots of flavour. The choice is excellent - if you don't like it too hot, tell them!If you ring for delivery be aware that it can be a bit slow - always arrives hot tho!

I've never had a dish from here that hasn't properly hit the spot. The food is always cooked so quickly so you don't have to wait too long, by the time you've got there to pick it up, it's ready. Perfect for takeaway nights!

Called in order for quarter roast duck with pancakes, sauce & veg. Came to £11.00 with a bag of prawn crackers. Went to collect, bag looked small so I asked if it came with sauce and veg. Was told it did. Got home, guess what. had to go back for missing items. Came home to cold duck and pancakes. Portion of duck was tiny. Nearly all skin and fat. Really wish I hadn't bothered.

Usually have no problem here but today it was seriously undercooked, tasted vile. The beef was pink! I have a picture as well. It was as if they had just rushed it with no care. We asked for the curry sauce mild which they usually do, this week again they ingnored it turnt up really spicy. Will not use again.

We ordered a Chinese takeaway for the four of us. We loved the crispy shredded chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken HK style and sweet and sour battered coated mushrooms. Some of the best food we have tasted from a Chinese takeaway or restaurant. The food is rather expensive (hence the 4 stars rather than 5).We initially collected the food and when we got home we found they had given us a slightly incorrect order. We phoned them up and they delivered the correct food within a reasonable time. It may be worth checking your order - but then again this may be a one-off. Also, I would avoid the seaweed as it's in the tiniest takeaway container I have ever seen - definitely not worth the money.Overall, we really enjoyed the takeaway and will definitely order again due the exceptional quality of the food.

This is a very good Chinese Take Away, and has a comprehensive menu. They also deliver for free when the order is over £'s.The food is good and I've never been disappointed with the quality or portion size.

I have tried many Chinese takeaways, New China is one of my favourites. I think the quality and portion size are great, the menu is varied and there is plenty of tasty bean curd dishes for vegetarians, the salted chilli bean curd is particularly good.

Had delivery from here the other day chicken balls was a day old and reheated sweet and sour sauce was glupy rice was a little over done think I'll be sticking to my regular from now on even if it does mean I have to collect it thanks but no thanks

Had not been here for a year or so but the place seems to have new owners and is greatly improved. The food was great quality and the service prompt . Far better overall than other supposed " high end" chinese eateries in the area .
