We order and collect regularly, never had a problem good value for money

Nothing had been anywhere near seasoning, sauces, or flavour. The lemon chicken sauce may well have just been lemon juice and thickening agent. No salt or sugar or soy or anything to give flavour. Same for the special chow mein and rice. Just bland

Placed an order with this restaurant through Just Eat with this restaurant: special chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls, and chips. The sweet and sour sauce was delivered but the chicken balls were not. When we called the restaurant to request the chicken balls be sent, with the delivery driver having witnesses the bag being unsealed and the items not being there, the person on the phone bluntly said "we're too busy to prove one way or the other that this is the case so just request a refund". Refund wasn't the point. Chips with watery, bland sauce isn't a meal. The key item was on the receipt but missing. Quite frankly, if you are too busy to make sure you're getting orders right, then you shouldn't be in the business you are. Never ordering from here again, and recommend others avoiding in the future.

Friendly and quick service, lovely food. Whole family was happy for less than £30 (that's with 4 main meals, 10 spring rolls, a bag of chips and a bag of prawn crackers). Good crispy chips, chow mein lovely, chicken curry great flavour. Portions are huge and the prices very fair, most mains between £5-6 when picking it up yourself (looks to be more expensive on Just Eat). Only downside is the lack of parking nearby, as it's so near the town centre; but that can't really be helped. The value for money here really can't be beat, it's our new go-to takeaway.

Ordered food. Waited an hour for it to arrive. Restaurant phoned to say the delivery driver had let them down and they are canceling order. Don’t order from them unless you like a gamble if it’s going to arrive…

Special chowmein chicken off with a horrid smell. Duck more fat than meat . Sweet and sour prawn swimming in grease and waterery sauce . Would never go back there again . Phoned them to complain didnt even offer a refund or credit such bad service .

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered on just eat and never turned up. Phoned the restaurant where I was greeted with a rude lady. Whilst I understand just eat I offered to pick up the food to be told no as they don't get the money. Even though it was paid for and I was happy to show them It said on my app the driver had turned up to the restaurant but they said he didn't. She said to cancel the order and get a refund but that can take 3 to 5 days and I explained I needed it as my little was waiting for food and I couldn't order again as not enough in the bank until tomorrow. She started laughing and said nothing she could do. Food was cooked and sat there going cold. It would of gone in the bin I was happy to collect it! Never will I order from here again. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered from here last night and it was the worse Chinese we have ever had the chips were burnt, egg fried rice was tasteless and the curry sauce was salty and looked like green diarea we definitely will not be ordering here again. Very disappointed 😞

Food was lovely, chilli beef however didn’t have a lot of taste and the chicken balls were slightly more well done than I prefer. Curry sauce and chips were tasty. Will definitely order again.

My wife and I had some lovely food today from the Golden Town, Chinese takeaway. We drove there and placed our order as they do not yet deliver. The food was nicely çooked and piping hot 🔥 when we got home 🏡. The place is now run 🏃‍♂️ by Harry and his wife. He is the Grandson of the man who ran it in the 70s. And has alsò been run by his Uncle 👋 who retired earlier this year. Happy New year's.

Golden town doses the most amazing food and the owner is fantastic. I done a order with just eat which just eat cancelled due to having no drivers. The golden town owner booked me a cab so I got my food.and he paid for cab. A very big thank you to golden town

It's a crime they don't deliver I get it 2/3 times a year as i dont drive if they delivered I would go weekly Edit: they are now on just eat but food has changed over the years. Noodles are the best thing they do now. Bbq is watery not as good as the heyday

Ordered through just eat and got a phone call from a confused delivery driver who didn’t know where he was going even though I told him multiple times through the phone call and texting and gods never arrived rung the restaurant and got no help and they’ve took the money even though he haven’t had the meal as it never arrived

we had a chicken curry with egg fried rice the chicken curry was Absolutley terrible the chicken was all slimy like uncooked have not ordered from there before and would never go there again the chicken did not taste like chicken.

Bland, cold and unidentifiable. Crispy shredded chilli beef that was soggy, cold and bland. Chicken balls that just tasted of egg from the dough. Special fried rice and chicken chow mein that both tasted of nothing. Absolutely gutted when it was a celebration dinner!!

Ordered sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice and chips thought it was fantastically cooked really enjoyed the meal and definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone who's looking for a nice Chinese in the local area I definitely will use them again.

The chicken had completely wrong texture, like crocodile actually maybe even cat meat, the rest of the food was slimey packed with MSG and the chips were rock solid, overall disgusting I'm going back to Aroma in Havant, maybe more pricey but definitely an improvement

So sad its changed owners .which I didn't no ...no more rich bbq sauce its water and tasteless ..Singapore rice tasteless as well .......

We came back to our old local on the grand reopening evening, the takeaway is under new management along with a new menu. Lovely people the food was piping hot and generous sized portions, to top it of they are currently offering 10% discount on all orders! Will definitely be coming back!!

I've been using this takeaway since the black dog pub was last open.i am going to miss your wonderful Curry's. Thank you for your brilliant service over the years it's very sad that you have to close your shop. Thanks to you all iam gonna miss my favourite food.

I have been using this takeaway for years and I've never been disappointed. We had an amazing meal from here last week. Tried loads of different dishes and they were all fab. The special chow mein is one of my favourites and also the chicken curry. Very reasonably priced too. Wish they'd consider a delivery service though.

Very courteous on the phone, food was prepared very quickly and was piping hot when collected. No problem in adjusting dishes to meet our requirements, and very tasty food. Will make this our regular go to Chinese takeaway.

I went to China Town takeaway fri 18th October... I ordered a chicken fried rice curry sauce and chips. The whole meal was absolutely vile. Every spoonful of the chicken dish and I didn't eat much was like eating a spoon ful of salt... I couldn't taste the chicken. The chips weren't cooked right through they were hard. All in all a terrible meal. Definitely won't be going back

This is a great family owned Chinese take away that we have been using for about 25 years that serve a delicious range of high quality food at very competitive prices from their extensive menu, their chicken curry & egg fried rice is outstanding for the price, plus service is always with a genuine smile from this wonderful family.

Used to use this Chinese on a regular basis, now it seems to have gone downhill. Order was late and not very hot as they only had one person in the kitchen. The food itself didnt taste right, gave up trying to eat it and now my husband cant stay more than 2 mins away from a toilet. Won't be going back.

Moved to Havant just over a year ago and have tried a few Chinese takeaways in the area. This is mine and my partners favourite. Lovely food, at a reasonable price, with friendly staff. 👌🏼

Good quality chicken curry and egg fried rice at a great price. My Husband and i have been using this curry shop for over 23 years, (him even longer), and when we have our usual meal of chicken curry, egg fried rice and a portion of chips, it is usually very well made with tender chunks of chicken breast in a tasty curry sauce, well seasoned rice and fairly decent chips. The only problem we have is warming it once we get home, as the foil containers can't go in the microwave, but the plastic lids burn in the oven, its a shame they changed the lids that were previously card as the food stayed alot hotter.
