Sunny Garden in Havant

So it's Christmas eve, so we expect a delay with our order. In total, we waited 3 hours tonight for our dinner. However, the food we did get was hot, fresh and cooked perfectly! I semi expected to be thoroughly disappointed after waiting so long, but all staff were very polite and sympathised, the delivery driver was super cheery and to be fair they were going as quick as they can. Thank you so much, regardless of the delay. Still my absolute favourite Chinese take away in the area :)

This is by far the best Chinese I've had. Food hot and delicious. Friendly delivery person. 5 stars all round a must go to in the area.

An hour and a half plus for delivery is the only thing that really lets this place down. to be fair food is good most of the time. but at least be honest with how long you expect delivery to take. Telephone staff don’t seem bothered how long you’ve been waiting.

Food and service are fantastic ! Just moved into the area and Sunny Garden was very well priced, fresh tasting and delicious. I had to leave a review as I was very happy with my food. Fortune cookies included, chicken balls deep fried but with thin crispy batter and chow mien moist, salty and full of flavour. Well done Sunny Garden. Will be ordering from you again 5*****

It's a shame we order from sunny gardens 1 or 2 times a week but lately there food has been awful dry and tonights mushrooms tasted awful like perfume kinda taste

For the 2nd time in 3 weeks, delivery food has been ok, but chips have been stone cold n dried out. Won't be using again!!!

What a wonderful Chinese takeaway. Always greeted with a friendly smile and never get my order wrong and I am a fussy eater who will always ask for changes, which are never a problem for this very attentive team. I have tried several dishes over the last year and always find them made from quality ingredients and packed full of flavour and texture, there is always a party for the mouth when ordering from the Sunny Garden. Not only is the quality of the food amazing their prices are still very reasonable and good value. My particular favourite are the chicken balls, always cooked to perfection, crispy exterior and succulent chunks of chicken inside, delicious especially when taken with a portion of the BBQ rib sauce, awesome 😋 No matter how small of an order I make there are always a couple of sweet treats slipped into the bag in the form of fortune cookies. Additionally they use aluminium containers not plastic so eating from here is also helping to save the planet one meal at a time 😉

Food is always good from here, decent prices and lovely staff. Thumbs up from me!

Hit and miss lately, sometimes good sometimes bad

Order online, in shop and by phone at different times, staff are always polite and friendly. Delivery drivers are the same. My go to takeaway.

Really good food, not overly greasy. Only down side is it's cash only but that could be what keeps the price down.

Eat here a lot and from time to time the curry sauce is way to salty, to the point i can't eat any more. Unfortunately when it's like this we start going else where. Not sure if they have different chefs, but they really need to keep a check on this, as it really let's them down.

Been a customer for over 9 years. But tonight was very disappointing. Ordered online and long story short waited almost 3 hours for delivery. Phoned twice for an update and no apology or customer service skills. I was very polite but was informed abutley its Christmas eve. Good news food eventually turned up and was very blaned. Rule of thumb call to order and not online,, or as I'm doing go to another ccccheni

Ignore the delivery time, it doesn't mean anything and don't even think about being compensated they just say, "if I compensate you I have to compensate everyone"

If you want to order from them add and hour to you max delivery time and you might be lucky and won't get compensated so avoid!!

Food was mostly fine but, the sesame prawn on toast were stodgy and greasy so will probably give a miss in the future.

The best Chinese in Havant area. Use online order if you want to pay by card, over phone as far as i know is cash on delivery.

Very impressed with Sunny Garden. We recently moved to the area and have ordered from them a couple of times because the food is great and they are very good with their allergens. Last time we accidentally ended up with chilli beef instead of mandarin beef (which in fairness look almost identical), so we called up, they were very apologetic, and within about 10 minutes they had turned up with a replacement dish. Not something you get from every takeaway!

Love this Indian takeaway ! The food is always gorgous and extremely good value for money . The staff are lovely .. always polite and chatty , and the kitchen staff always seem happy too . I've tried lots of different dishes from the menu , but if I'm not sure of anything , they are always more than happy to explain what they are , or give you advise on another dish you may like . Definitely recommend this takeaway .

Have had home delivery on several occasions and the food quality has not been consistent. I chose chicken in black bean sauce with mushrooms and my fiance chose salt and pepper chicken, a side order of prawn toast completed our menu and we were informed that we would receive our food in 45 minutes. Just under 30 minutes later the doorbell rang which was a record. It was apparent how this speed delivery had been possible as the food was lukewarm. One and two half pieces of tasteless prawn toasts, blackbean sauce so thick it congealed on contact with my plate and rubbery, disgusting chicken added to a waste of money and an addition to the bin. My fiancé's meal wasn't much better and was eaten due to him being hungry. Very disappointed and am now looking elsewhere for decent grub. 😣

A good selection of chinease food. The staff are very helpful and polite. I especially enjoy their vegetable sweet and sour dish with rice. Recommended.

Local Chinese, offering collection or delivery. We prefer to collect as delivery time can be long especially on weekends. Order always correct. Food spot on. Order from here on a regular basis.

Great service and good food, the chicken was very succlulent and the rice was rich in flavour... not going to lie the delivery time was a bit iffy took about an hour but it was worth the wait. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you get the new delivery girl she's a whopper, shhhhh ting!

If this Chinese was 20 miles away I would still drive past all the others to get a take away. I am a vegetarian and I dont give anyone a second chance. The way they do their mock meat is perfect. Ask them to add it it to any meal and they will. Been getting my chinese from these for about three years now and food is consistantly perfect. I asked why they wouldn't deliver to me being just outside their delivery area (I even offered them extra money on top) and they simply said there is a chance the food may not turn up hot. These people take absolute pride in what they cook and have no problem adapting to suit each indiviuals needs. Thankyou very much. God I'm hungry lol :)

Overcharged us and still left stuff out of our order and were very rude when we phoned them to point out the missing items. Chips very poor to the point of being inedible, chicken in the sweet and sour Hong Kong was like jelly and the peppers were pretty much raw.

Everything we ordered was to salty no flavor my statay dish was like water and chicken curry tasted like perfume.

This used to be one of best Chinese curry shops, but recently it has gone right downhill, serving quite poor food using cheap ingredients, it used to be quality, but sadly not now as the last two meals we had there were awful!

Best Chinese ever. Have been to nearly everyone within a 5 mile radius. We unfortunately have moved out of the area but we always get a takeaway delivered to a family members house and collect from there even if its a 20 minute drive and there is no one better around. Been loyal customers for years xx

Just had a king prawn chow mein and sweet and sour ribs. Was very nice ribs were mouth watering.will be back for more soon
