I'd give no stars if I could. Used to use this all the time when Michael ran it. Horrible food now, tasteless, reheated, just awful. Used to love chicken and pineapple but the whole thing is now orange with a really weird taste. Stodgy rice like wallpaper paste.

Utterly disappointing, if you’re expecting good service do NOT eat here!!!!! Our delivery never arrived and when we called up and politely asked how long it would be (after an hour) we were told by an extremely rude lady on the phone “you said collection not delivery, what do you want us to do” (we made it clear on the phone we wanted delivery). No apology was given, she enjoyed bickering with my other half telling him he was in the wrong. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

First time ordering here spent £40 and i am appalled!! The prawn toast was shameful the chicken was black and rock hard! The hot and sour soup was like toilet water and the chips was greasy when phoning to ask them to collect and get a refund they was nothing but rude and I got no outcome and the food ended up in the bin

I've used delivery and collection multiple times. The service is excellent. Unfortunately, I have never eaten in and as such cannot speak to the atmosphere. Regarding the food, I have had their chicken fried rice a great many times, and I must say it is delicious. Whether a hearty lunch midway through exam season or comfort food on a cold night in their fried rice has served me well and I would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys chicken fried rice (image attached). Moreover, I have some experience with their appetisers and I must say both their spare ribs with salt and chilli, and their won tons are phenomenal. Also, as of 24/10/2024 the delivery variant of their spare ribs with salt and chilli comes with 6 ribs and they are all a decent size (image attached). Also, I have found their portions are very generous and so one may struggle to finish fried rice and spare ribs in one evening and as such in the past I have put the spare ribs in the fridge and they are still great the next morning. If you prefer not to do this I would recommend you get the won tons which only comes with 4 won tons and as such is suitable for a lighter meal. Overall, highly recommend. Update: Since my prior review I have enjoyed another couple of Mr Chilli takeaways. My most recent order included Soft Bean Sprouts Noodles, Egg Fried Rice, and Fillet Pork in Sweet & Sour Sauce Sichuan Style (photos attached). I'll be honest I wasn't a big fan of the sweet and sour as although I adored the fillet pork I was not a fan of the sauce. The noodles were fantastic and the egg fried rice was pretty standard. Overall I'd say 4/5.

My first visit to Jade Peking & I was made so welcome. The service was friendly quick & all who came for Dinner commented on how enjoyable the meal was, Jade Peking set up a fanttastic evening for me the lovely people even offered to help me carry the bags to the car. Just dire. It used to be a super restaurant but now, under younger management, it is a complete rip off. How anyone could rate this highly is beyond me. £6.10 for a small bottle of tiger beer and £7.60 for a dish of soggy cabbage and carrots. Virtually empty on a Friday evening should have been a warning sign.

Only just started using this takeaway and must say I'm impressed. The soup is beautiful, portions are large and the service is friendly and helpful. Already had our second order and looking forward to plenty more.

been coming to taste of china for years now by far the best one in bd6, courtney has worked there for as long as i can remember always serves us with a smile and is happy to be there! recommend to everyone 😁
