Great local Chinese takeaway. The food is very well priced and excellent quality, with service also being 10/10.

Average at best unfortunately , the crispy beef dishes we had were fried in the same oil they use to fry the fish in and the taste was overpowering the flavor of the meat . First time and sorry to say the last time we will be ordering from here .

This is a takeaway. Always happy and good service. Food ok for a takeaway does fish and chips as well. Leaving review as no menu readable on line.

Too slow they have only 2 that work there no delivery's and they never answer the phone because they don't have the staff the food that's not very good

superb fish and chips the fish was excellent and the portions large. Keep up the standard you deserve it.

Special fried rice was okay but the chip were really bad, like bullets. Looked as if they’d been cooked a few times and microwaved for good measure.

Terrible food and the slowest service I've ever witnessed. If this place had any competition, it would fold in a week.

Food is nice and good value BUT they rarely answer the phone and will just hang up on you. I've been calling for an hour and they keep hanging up. Surely it makes more sense to answer and keep the customer rather than ignore them. We spend 20-25 quid a week, so they've just lost themselves over a grand in business per year.

Long wait time, staff seem scrambled, chips were horrible, looked like they had been cooked and recooked, very burnt, not nice at all. At least the sausage was okay.

Thought we would try and see if it's inproved from the last meal we had from here, it was worse than ever, cold, rock hard, tasteless even dog didn't want it, staff rude, slow service, that's the last time I waste my money here, I'm really surprised there still in buissness 🤔

Not bad of you are prepared to wait about an hour .an if you do a phone order they sometimes don't answer.. happened a few times to me .when it does I use helsbys wok and they deliver ..think of the money jade must be losing out on .bet iam not the only one this happens to ..

So disappointed we have been going for years but has gone downhill, past few orders have all had things missing, this time my whole Chinese was missing by the time we realised we were at home 25 minutes away so couldn't go back, the phone is off the hook and has been for days so couldn't even phone them to deal with the problems so wasted £6 and had no dinner, extremely sad and won't be going again

Good Chinese meals bit of a wait time but only got two members of staff at the moment so to be expected would go there again

The place is a little shabby and the fish is not particularly nice. I hear the Chinese food is good but I have not tried it myself.

One of the best chippies we've ever had takeaway from (and we've tried a few, in fact I used to work in one). The food is to delicious. We especially like the Crispy Shredded Chilli Chicken. They've been amazing throughout Covid-19 sticking rigorously to the guidelines, going above and beyond to keep staff and customers safe.

The King Prawn Cashew Nut is really nice, infact I have had a few different meals from Jade's and I've never had a bad meal. The staff are really nice and they work super hard to make sure that everything is in order. I will be visiting every week. Thank You 😊

Totally gone down hill since taken over. The young Chinese girl that serves, regularly has a bad attitude. Tonight I was ignored for the first five minutes of entering, and then rudely told that my meal “ Would be thirty minutes “ Not acceptable, and I won’t be returning anymore. They make you feel like they’re doing YOU the favour by serving you. Absolutely awful.

Never had a bad meal from here since it has been taken over. Staff are friendly and food is lovely, highly recommended.

Terrible food, Terrible place wouldn’t recommend trying Jade’s Chinese Takeaway, they got confused with my order, it says 3 stars on hygiene but it looked filthy and unhygienic definitely not 3 stars. However staff were friendly and also I would recommend SeaWays in Helsby instead of Jade’s because SeaWays is not run by delinquents. Not impressed with my visit to jade’s that’s why I placed a one star rating, all the details I mentioned should be rethought and taken into immediate affect and personal I to leave a good review.

Placed big order for several meals, they turn them around in quick time great food

Been using this chip shop for over fifteen years. Service and food was always great. It was taken over couple of years ago, and the service has dramatically gone down hill. It’s always closed with “ No Staff “ sign on the door. Waiting times have gone through the roof. Food still very good, especially their fish. Need to sort their staff problem out, especially with order in Apps now available. A lot of competition Jade.

Once the new owners settled in they transformed this place. Glad I no longer need to go to helsby for my chippy needs 👍

The woman turned up at our home and had a go at us for ordering food to be delivered because they were over 45mins late saying we should just go in... Defeats the object of home delivery, nice food poor people skills

Had Fish and Chips, Curry Sauce, Salt and Pepper Chicken last night & it was fabulous 👍😋 NEW MANAGEMENT took over about 3months ago, very nice and friendly staff, great food, so any bad reviews must be the pervious owners.

Owner's are lovely. No qualms about that. When I heard we had New owners I was jumping up and down with joy. Not that the old ones were not nice because they were lovely too but just couldn't not cook. Meals were awful. Chippy always empty. Shame. Now new owners and queues which is a good sign. However my chicken in garlic and honey was not really very nice and I ain't a fussy eater. Chicken tasted just OK and I live pineapple but not that much. Loads of the stuff. A bit disappointed for my first meal. May try a 2nd and get something different but not impressed at the minute.

Great hot food delivery was very efficient and people are very friendly not had a bad meal from here since I started using them over 2 yers ago. Smashing!!

We had a meal delivered tonight and it was gorgeous! The ribs were juicy and the sauce thick. Plenty of meat in the special chow mein and fresh chips. We will definitely be going back again

The best in our area for takeaway

Owner on my occasion has tried to charge me more than the cost of what im buying. When confronted she makes up on the spot that she can charge extra. Very sneaky. Wont go there again.

Ordered a takeaway over the phone which was quickly delivered. Generous portions with a couple of freebies added to our order. Recommended

Staff polite,but most of food tastes warmed up,ordered sausage and chips staff member took some scoops of chips out and reheated them in the fryer and did the same with sausages,saw pieces of uncooked chicken in a tray on the floor in the kitchen area.Would not buy anything from this shop again very poor hygiene.shame .

Quite possibly the worst Chicken chow mein I have ever tasted. Slimy chicken, over cooked noodles. Chips were OK.....

Biggest portions of chips you will find anywhere and at very good price. Friendly staff too. Very tasty chips at an excellent price!

The Chinese food itself never really tastes any different and is always decent. The chips though can be very hit and miss. Seems to have up its game lately to be fair.

Potato scallops dried up been in hot cubbard to long Fish over cooked .like rubber . Chips reheated and old horrible. Staff not dressed properly and old scruffy grease splashed tshirts.

Chips awful spanish omelette had a funny taste to it, fish cake greasy, fish at times ok but overall not very good.
