The New Oriental in Cheshire West and Chester

The food from here is soo damn good, I've tried many Chinese takeaways before all around Chester and this takeaway has been my go to everytime for a long time since I've had my first Chinese from here, never went anywhere else. The food has been flawless everytime and customer service has always been second to none. Big thanks to all staff!

The worst portion of food Ive ever had will never go back there again !!!!! Not good value for money really disappointed!!

I love the food and Leen is wonderful

Great food but sadly the order is sometimes wrong twice in the last 4 weeks we have arrived home with wrong order one week a meal was wrong the second time an item was missing...we were asked to pop back.. one week we did this as a meal was wrong but to simply pop back for a smaller item is not time or cost effective as meals go cold in the 15 mins it takes to do this

We were staying in an air b and b next to here this weekend. I really enjoyed my food, the chips were lovely and the Sweet and sour king prawn hong kong style was great. It was just enough for me but I can imagine some people could do with a bit more. The spring rolls was also nice. This was Friday night. Saturday we were disappointed because the girls and me went out for drinks in the afternoon and came back just before 11pm looking forward for more chinese but it was closed. Never mind, what we did have was nice.

Very disappointed by the customer service. Visiting family and suggested collecting Chinese on our way in. Spent nearly £70. Ate starters which were very nice. When we served out main courses we realised the sweet and sour sauce for the king prawns was missing, resulting in dry deep friend king prawns only. Contacted the take away who advised that this was only a £1.40 sauce and we could go and collect if we really felt it was needed. Explained that we were unable to drive having now had a couple of alcoholic drinks and they were unwilling to do anything to rectify their mistake. They said we could return the prawns for a refund. The thing I was most annoyed about was being told I was being ridiculous that I was unhappy the sweet and sour sauce for a sweet and sour dish was missing!! They also expressed we could organise a taxi to collect the sauce but this would be out of our pocket. So we’ve been told to return the prawns tomorrow to refund them in full. Unfortunately this put a huge dampener on our evening and having spent a considerable amount I am disappointed in the lack of care and customer service.

I keep going back here for the salt and perrer chicken, it's always fresh and tasty. The rest of the menu is very good too. See you next week.

I have eaten from here many times and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, tasty, presented well and reasonably priced. The staff are incredibly friendly and the shop is clean and well maintained. I will definitely continue to eat from here

Not at all impressed! Over the phone I ordered 2 fish and chips! Was told it would be 15 minutes….. but it turned out to be 10 mins late! AND only had 1 fish and chips! They were Luke warm, batter was thick and soggy, chips? Well ..Luke warm? I shall never visit again. Previously, probably 5 years ago it was all good! Ow…. Forget it

Food poorly presented. Not very hot, no taste. Would not recommend or use ever again. Waste of 30 quid tried it and binned it.

Really good Chinese food, we usually get some kind of fried rice, chow mein and curry sauce, always really good, not too greecy.

We use this takeaway most weeks as the food is delicious, cooked fresh to order and is usually ready in around 15 minutes.

Nice place, but disappointed with the Singapore noodles. Was really bland, not spicy at all. Still okay though.

I ordered a chicken chow mien and ribs along with a fried rice sweet and sour chicken balls and some bbq ribs. Really disappointed with the flavour the look and presentation. Firstly the sweet and sour chicken was just a sauce and really runny, watered down and no veg. The fried rice looked like yesterday’s not fresh and all clumped together. The chow mien was bland and the chicken was processed along with noodles which looked like yesterday’s warmed up. The ribs were small and full of fat.

Was reccomended this place so gave it a try. Ordered a chicken curry and when got home realised the meat was soft and still pink in middle. Put it straight in the bin. Won't ever be going back here. The worst takeaway I've ever experienced.

Popped in on spec as staying locally, the girl on the counter was friendly and I had a good chat about her charity work. The food was decent and the price very reasonable. All in all a decent place and I would certainly go back when in the area.

This is got to be quite possibly one of the worst Chinese takeaways I have ever had the misfortune of eating. The crispy chilli beef was so dry it was like eating pork scratchings not to mention bland and no meat (beef) content. The special curry my partner ordered was again bland the chicken was inedible and undercooked. We ordered soup for starters. It was horrible and had a strange taste. It made me sick and I would never go back. It was disgusting. I’ve eaten some Chinese food in my lifetime and this is the WORST. Yuck. Absolutely revolting. Yucky

This is always my first choice for chippies in the area. Friendly staff, good portion sizes. The prices are also cheap too. Definitely a recommend for families.

Brilliant food, great service. And adding extra flavours, spices or ingredients is never a problem! Best place for oriental food I've ever used.

I am fan of Chinese Food from many years.I travel 19 years around the world and believe ne people's there's no better Chow Main like in this place !!! Best Take Way ever!!!

Fast, friendly service in a bright, airy and modern takeaway. Food tastes fantastic, and is reasonably priced. On one wall has a grid of dishes and sauces with what allegens they each have - useful if you are gluten intolerant to find food you can have :) Highly recommend.

Very good food and great service. They need to get on trip advisor and highlight this. Will definitely return...
