Post covid food is just awful. Gristle meat. Expect an bad tummy afterward. Jusr awful food! 3 stars hygiene. Need I say more?

A decent eatery there are better but it's not bad you won't be disappointed never been sick from here or had the runs and the food isn't bad I enjoy it and I haven't found hair in it like I have at others not to far away that people claim is better not gonna name them but they ain't to far away these guys beat them purely cuz I have never been ill or found contaminants like hair happy garden is ok the set meal for one is worth it

Without a doubt the best Chinese takeaway in Wolverhampton I've been loyal to happy garden for years now and the consistency with the quality has never changed.

Nothing wrong with the service. I ordered a chicken curry was expected mushrooms and onions but not peas. It doesn't say on the menu it contains peas, I had to go through the curry getting them out. The chicken was also rubber and tasteless. spent all that money to throw it away. I won't go there ever again I have had better mircowave curry's than that and there disgusting. very disappointed

A horrible experience this evening, I went to the local Chinese hoping to chat up my little girlfriend ( Xiao Shui Gua) but her mum served me instead and after having my order totally confused costing £14 instead of £11 I gets confronted by a guy holding the door open and glaring at me. I asked him to "come in and please close the door" cos it was freezing. I thought he was one of the delivery guys waiting for an order. The cold wind was bad, so I asked him again please come in and keep the place warm but he refused. So I got up close and said come in or go out please. It turns out he couldn't speak a word of English. He stepped back out the door still glaring at me. And I closed the door. Just then a guy in the queue says "that's my Dad" I said " OK I didn't know you were together, but why wouldn't he just come in and shut the door ? Because it's freezing". No answer. I had a bad feeling I was being targeted here, maybe a case of mistaken identity. Then I realised I wasn't wearing my hidden body cam. When you live in a rough neighbourhood it is an essential piece of kit. The guy at the door is still glaring at me. I'm wondering why ? as I haven't said anything to him apart from "come in and shut the door please" So I asked the guy in the queue " are you guys going to jump me out side ? If so ... I am prepared... I am ex military and can handle myself". It turns out the other guy can't speak much English either. I can get by in German , French, Polish, Spanish, Italian, as I'm a big fan of languages. But no I couldn't make any headway. So I asked him what language he spoke and which country ? He just ignored me. I am feeling that I'm going to get jumped by the two of them for reasons unknown. I think I'll just wait till the guy in the queue gets his order leaves and I'll leave when the pair of them disappear. However the guy outside disappears and my order is ready so I get my car keys out ready to make a dash for it. My car is right outside the door and I move like a flash, and sure enough the other guy is waiting in the adjacent door for me and starts giving me 'non English verbal' I'm in the car, gave him the Church hill salute and off... and he's running behind screaming at me. This is a lesson to me not to go anywhere without my body cam. I have it as proof of self defense tactics. I feel like a foreigner in my own country and thinking of going to the outer Hebrides, to get away from it all.

Really nice food love getting beef curry wont go anywhere else

I like noodles. Tried the beef chow mein and the beef was awful. I tried the chicken chow mein and the chicken was awful. I've just finished eating the roast pork chow mein - no problems with the roast pork because there was no pork. Go hungry before you buy food from here !

Beef curry and chips , the beef they use is that jelly type of meat , its like eating gristle , waste of money , threw the lot

Not so happy garden! Burnt chips, burnt pancake rolls, burnt prawn on toast! When I rang to 'advise', after speaking to the chef, the girl inexplicably said "because you ordered it 2 hours ago and are eating it now, the food won't taste the same". I said "what??!!" I said I visited Wolverhampton and live 30mins away and am eating the food 1 hour later not 2 hours. Regardless, I am not concerned about how the food tastes after an hour or so, I am telling you that some of the food is burnt! Guess what folks? ... Yep... She wouldn't have it and repeated the same thing over and over and over again! "the food won't taste the same unless you eat it straight away". What, am I supposed to have all the family in the car and eat it straight away?! WTH! I asked her one question, "does food burn in the packets!/containers?" She said no, I said end of conversation! She then said your complaint isn't valid and we never had any complaints before - well 'happy' garden take a look at some of your negative reviews as they are the one's you need to pay attention to! Clearly, the customer is never right at this establishment... Not a patch on the previous owners Loon Chun, please come back! P. S. folks, next time you order takeaway, please check whilst your driving home, as it maybe burning in the bag!!!

I’ve been here twice . Both times ordered king prawn friend rice and curry sauce with chips. The food is very tasty and good quality, lady working on till is kind also .

Ordered Tofu Chilli Kung Po as stated on menu and was given sweet and sour. I absolutely hate sweet and sour. Called up to advise of mistake and was told kung po is sweet and sour with a bit of chilli! What?! Not at every other one of the dozens of Chinese takeaways I've had before. They refused to make correct dish and replace. First and last visit.

Been ordering here a while now and we've never had a bad meal. I order most Saturdays and its always lovely the curry is perfect, we always order one with well done meat for my other half because hes fussy and we are never let down. chicken fried rice, Cantonese chicken, chomping and much more and its all been really nice and you get a freebie depending on how much you spend. I don't find it bland like some ww have tried. Staff are nice and pleasant especially the girl answering the phone and even the delivery men are so polite. We will be sticking to this place I really missed it when it was closed during the first lockdown so glad they came back well done keep it up 👍👌

Sent completely the wrong meal. Phoned to get not much of a response. Curry sauce is thick and nasty. Won't order here again.

One of the better Chinese takeaways in Wolverhampton. There seems to be a really average standard when it comes to Chinese food and only a few takeaways deliver good quality Chinese food, this is one of them.

Friendly staff great food reasonable price...

I have always gone to this Chinese for many years, yet I went a week ago and ordered over £25 worth, I got home and no one liked it, the curry was bland no taste. the chips have been pre cooked and put in again hard and vile, and the chow main was dry, I am really disappointed as it was always my preferred Take away. No more orders form me.

Top dish indeed! Asked for extra chillies to spice it up, got exactly what I asked for! Never had any complaints. A MUST TRY!!!!!! Guaranteed smile...

Hemos esperado dos horas para nuestra llevar después de que nos dijeron la entrega tardará hasta 45 minutos. Llamamos tres veces y nos dijeron que "la comida es en camino". . No disculpas ni gestos de buena voluntad. Como una pareja que pide de este chino una vez a la semana. . Nos han dejado muy decepcionado. La recepcionista en el teléfono no ofreció explicación y la comida llegó un poco calientes. Clasificamos los siguientes:Comida: 2 / 5 y 0 / 5 Servicio:ahorra dinero y pedir a otro sitio si quieres comer en el mismo día!

Sólo hemos trasladado a la zona (de Londres) y he probado varios para llevar chino. Todo ha sido muy decepcionante hasta ahora. Esta es la mejor comida china de lejos en la zona que hemos tenido. Gran sabor. Entrega en tiempo, muy caliente. Sin ninguna queja, muy recomendable.

Bad service gave the wrong meal and wouldn't change it

Food was very average but the service was horrible, first gave me the wrong order then realised the mistake and changed it. Then when I got home to realise she had got another order wrong when I explained she instantly blamed me and basically said u would have to eat it and didn't even offer an apology. Very rude, bad pexpletives stay away.

Order from here frequently (yeah, we're fat bums!) But LOVE the food. Such good value for money. The BBQ ribs are sooo good. The meat falls off the bone and the sauce is proper lush. Will always pick this place over any. Love love love.

I use this Chinese takeaway on a regular basis and to be fair everything I have from here is spot on. I rate most of the menu well what I've tried so far! No doubt I'll be there again this weekend lol.

La feliz Garden es una gran comida para llevar. A veces estar siendo vegetariano lucha por elección de comida china pero feliz jardín tiene tofu también platos como pollo falso, pato falso y pescado falso, que es todo comida vegetariana. Os lo harán en cualquiera de los estilos que los otros platos están elaborados en. La calidad es siempre el mismo, muy agradable y fresco degustación. También los tamaños de las porciones son muy generosas y los precios son razonables. Normalmente el Chow mein vegetales, fideos udon de vegetales, tofu en salsa de frijol y negro imitación pollo en salsa dulce y amarga. O y patatas fritas y salsa de curry. Recomiendo encarecidamente estos platos, sin embargo el estilo tailandés curry vegetal no era genial, recomiendo evitar que uno.
