We had a fabulous evening sharing my sons birthday celebrations. The food was excellent All the staff were kind and friendly . They even gave us a complimentary photo in a frame . Brilliant place to take the littones . A big thank you to Kaci, and all the staff who looked after us , i can't recommend you highly enough , we look forward to visiting you again very soon . The food was beautiful , service very good.

Food was great, Amelia and Rohit bit great always available to clear empty plates and make sure we were happy. Puddings were great jelly was super good (review from my 6 year old)

Excellent food and service Romit very polite guy on tills and bar very helpful. Staff was brill drinks was quick clear tables quick if empty plates. One young lad brought us drinks with tattoos very polite helpful he had accident very embarrassed but we found it was ok and was cleaned up very quickly. Overall excellent so much better that Birmingham which go to once a month think it be worth a trip to Wolverhampton. Very impressive. And thank you for looking after my big party

Standard buffet place it was really quiet when we went but it was on a Wednesday to be fair. The food was very good. They tried to charge me for my 1 Yr old? He didn't eat anything anyway but usually kids are free. Despite this would visit again the food was good.

Had duck with plumb sauce and pork with egg fried rice food came cold all tough couldn't even eat the duck and the rice is a different story never again

Ignored bad reviews as it was on our route. Wondered why the place was so empty on a Summer Bank Holiday weekend.. And I guess we found out why. Food was bland or overly salted, no in between. Further, we were met with nothing but lies and aggression from one stupid little girl trying to play "manager". My husband and I went for a quiet family meal with our small baby who remained seated in her high chair the entire time, and honestly, she was an angel. So quiet. As we were due to leave, my husband was cleaning her hands and a small empty side plate, made of a plastic material, toppled down in their struggle. There was no noise. So imagine my shock when one jumped up silly little girl appears with her hands clasped together like an opera singer, in an attempt to appear more "serious" and "manager" like. Comical really 😂 But then she opened her mouth. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you her words, looking at my baby, "We will NOT tolerate this behaviour from her". I had to pause, I was sure she was joking. She wasn't. It was hard to hear over the kitchen staff and I asked what is going on??? Her response was "YOU. HEARD. ME". Stupid vile little girl. I stood up and told her if I heard you, I'm not asking you to explain am I. Now WHAT are you talking about!??? She back scuttled realizing her pathetic attempt to intimidate me and my little one year old hadn't worked. "Aww actually your baby is so cute". I told her to don't dare patronize me. She changed her entire story. "Erm it's not her... it's your husband.. he's err.. throwing plates around here". I said excuse me!? When has my husband thrown plates across this restaurant??? I'm standing right here ready to leave, he's just cleaning her hands. Is this a joke? She could barely give an explanation and said "Okay he's err.. not throwing them around the restaurant.. erm" I'd heard enough. I told her to get AWAY from my table right now, we are leaving anyway. Honestly I hope she speaks like this outside the restaurant, I really do. She needs a good life lesson. How they are letting such an ignorant child play manager is beyond me. I guess this is their pathetic attempt at intimidating customers and making them leave asap to avoid further consumption. To make this establishment even more laughable, I called the place after and asked to speak to the manager. The same stupid girl came to the phone. I said can I have your name please? She refused. Asking me "what do you want" I said you said you are the manager, I want your name. She choked and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I called back immediately and she refused to pick up. Sums it up really! What a low level ignorant person they have managing their customer service. Is this really their standards!?? They need not come back here with any further weak justification, or more lies, as lies were all I heard there. So I'm sure they wont disappoint here either. Honestly I thought it was a set up, sadly it wasnt. We were so quiet. No trouble at all. We didn't even ask for as much as a spoon. At least as an onlooker I saw we weren't the only guests that were treated poorly without reason by these ignorant kids, but it is still totally unacceptable. This restaurant will be closed soon if they allow children to run this restaurant on their little deluded power trips. Take what I've said how you may, I've not exaggerated and I've been honest. I truly never knew this level of customer service abuse existed. My suggestion is to not waste your precious family time, your special occasions, nor your hard earned money there. The staff are as high quality as that poor restaurant itself. I recommend you go somewhere else and be treated with respect and be allowed to enjoy your meal in peace.

Last time I’ve been to ming moon, I mostly interacted with the manager, Natalia, I made an enquiry about the food and got a poor response and poor attitude. To be honest, I felt pretty uncomfortable afterwards, considering it’s the manager. However, on a positive note, the front of house team (especially Reece, Bav and Jude) made a great effort towards us and other customers, which made the atmosphere a little bit better.

The manger was extremely welcoming and and all the staff were very hospitable especially rohit and the foot was very high quality and good value for money

Gurdas is an absolute wizard with the candy floss and the crepes, makes a real effort with customers and was an all round great server!

They always treat you as family, the food is fresh and tasty, the service is swift and even when is really busy you get the atención you need

It was my birthday and I decided to go there and hang out with friends, however, I had a pleasant experience, from the service, to food, to the welcoming staff, everything was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the food options were great, multiple choices to pick from and the live kitchen was a blast. The staff especially BHAVNEET, NATALIA, JOSH AND LILY, they were a star, very polite, friendly, impeccable.

Got straight in food was plentiful and hot Lilly and Jarvid were courteous and quick to remove empty plates x

BAD REVIEW LEFT 4 YEARS AGO We have since returned and had a very good positive time STILL an issue with the puddings but atleast it wasn't all jelly this time We have been back 2 times and had a great time staff has been changed a bit but the good staff remain as familiar faces MING MOON YOU DID GOOD KEEP IT UP

Food and service is decent. Atmosphere a bit too loud with the happy birthday song playing every 15 minutes at really high volume. Food is only slightly overpriced but drinks cost way too much. Parking isn’t great.

Had a fantastic meal for what it costs. Staff were amazing as usual, especially Amelia who was cookinv the crepes, waffles and making candy floss. She complimented my wife on her clothing which made her feel good. I also over heard her talking to children waiting for various food items and she was entertaining and very polite. Onky downside was a large group finishing there meal then deciding to change seats and relax right next to us, even though theyd finished and the usual person kicking off as they thought the food was bad and wanted a refund. Shame some people spoil it for others.

I really enjoyed my time as they were very kind and very patient even though we had struggles and technical difficulties with the payment. They were very patient and even offered to help to pay for us. The owner was so nice. Staff was very patient and caring and made us feel like we belonged and comfortable. It was an overall very nice experience and I would really totally recommend this for anybody who would like to celebrate

Mong Moon Buffet is situated on Stafford Road in a small retail park to the left as you go lot of town towards the M54. We have had several takeaways from this restaurant using the app where meals are bought so they don’t go to waste. They charge around £5.99 for this. The food is excellent and we always get a good choice of either fish or meat and plenty of other side dishes. The staff are very polite and the service is good. The restaurant needs updating but apart from this if you want good choice and a nice atmosphere without being rushed this is a good Chinese restaurant buffet to go to. If you’re eating in then the prices are also good. Parking at the side of the restaurant is also good.
