Superb service, friendly staff, great food. We have used Ying Wah on many occasions previously and have never had any problems or need to complain, and this time was no exception, despite our order being much larger than usual. When we got the food home, everything was still hot and cooked throughout and every dish was delicious and tasty. A problem with some Chinese takeaways is too much salt in the food, but not here. Would highly recommend.

This is now my local for a Chinese Takeaway, I've been looking for somewhere since we moved to the area and haven't found anywhere really nice until now. I ordered for collection so I can't really speak on delivery times etc

Food okay ordered through the website with estimated delivery time of 30 minutes ordered at 21.15 food arrived at 23.00 after ringing twice to see where the food was.

Used Ying Wah for over 30 years and I have never had a bad meal.. always good 👍

Really disappointing quality and delivery time. Website advertised 30 mins when it took 1.5 hrs to arrive (had to call twice) Food was bland and not worth the wait, or price. Wouldn’t recommend here when other food options in wolves

Had food from here for the past 20+ years, consistently delicious and fresh. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Wolverhampton for Chinese.

We ordered from here for the first time. Big mistake. Don't bother. It's awful. Won't come back here again.

Sent wrong food, then no apology, sent replacement meal, zero meat in dish will not use again ever advise use mr chef across the road, which we got what we after 2 attempts here, and they took our money but could not produce. And as a chef of 35 years I know good or bad food and service.

Been having Chinese from here a few years now and I’ve never complained once foods always nice portion size for what you pay and they are always smiling when you pick up your food. I visited last week and some wench and her plastic teenage “gangster” son were rude as hell she literally walked in ordered then no more then 5 minutes later she abruptly interrupted me and the lady behind the counter saying “HOW MUCH LONGER” when they eventually got the food they didn’t even say thank you tossers I take my hat off to the lady behind the counter as she was professional through out 5 ⭐️ from me

Terrible. Place has go one downhill. Only a one hygiene rating. My gammon was off. Soggy wet batter on chicken.Chips as dry as a bone. That's it. Customer for 30 years no more.

Waited well over a hour for my delivery. Rang after an hour to say I'm still waiting to be told it was out for delivery. Still waiting 30 minutes later...

Not fresh never again i will rather make my own at least i know its fresh. Waste of money.

Always had food from here.Mostly very good. Tonight the food was not good.Most of the order wasn't as fresh as it normally is. The chips were inedible . Ordered at 4.30 so straight out for delivery at 5. Hard and definitely re heated . Called up and told them , to be told that they wasn't reheated. I said you wasn't served them. I was. ..No apology nothing. Shocking.

We had a meal tonight after a very full day travelling, Tired so we ordered special fried rice no pork or onion, we received it with pork, no prawns no onion. however the remaining dishes were awful, prawn toast was very hard with no filling at all, special fried rice was terrible, chicken dry and hard, bamboo shoots again hard.and there was a distinct lack of mushrooms, the rice was in places clumped together and hard. Lemon chicken was just about ok? last 3 orders have not been the best after many years of using them i may need to look elsewhere.

Simply the best Chinese in town no cap.... Hygiene is top notch and service is friendly and the food sooo delicious with good portion and affordable.....pricing have not changed fr the last 3 years despite the rising cost... And got there 5 minutes to closing, still they let me in and serve me patiently....a must try....ooo btw collection is advised because parking and deliveries are not guaranteed.

If i could leave a 0 star I would this place is a disgrace ordered a big order and asked for no sea food as we have allergies on a certain dish and when it arrived it came with sea food which I phoned to ask that was when there was attitude from the person on the phone for them to say am I speaking "foreign" to you?!!" No apologies or anything once I said that's bad customer service it was like "what ever" once somebody else took the phone off her she was apologetic and wouldn't let me speak to manager such a DISGRACE OF A BUSINESS never use again food will go in bin!!!!!! Waste of £25

I feel sorry that I am writing this review. I have been a customer of Ying Wah for 30 years. Always loved the food, prices etc and always had my food delivered. The last 2 or 3 times, the time quoted has been exceeded. Last night, last straw "40 minutes.." I was told, an hour later I called and it had "just left, on its way", 30 minutes later it arrived. I expressed my problem to the person on the phone. She said "I'll tell him." But sadly I don't think she will. Time to move my custom. 30 years loyalty down the pan because of greed.

The banana fritters are meant to be golden and crispy, they were soggy! they were drenched in syrup and the other Chinese i order from, is crispy/golden and I get a separate container to add how much syrup I prefer on the banana fritter. The prawn crackers were not nice either, I prefer the thicker Ones, these were thin and tasteless. The staff were friendly over the phone, they may have lower prices from other Places, but it just didn't taste Right. It was nice to experience this place though to see how different places run and how they make the food. I noticed a big difference. Unfortunately I Don't think il be ordering Again. I'm going to stick to my local one.

Absolute disgusting,been using this place for 20 yrs,but last 6mths gone down. Last night £21 for well below par food. Cheap frozen fries, smaller portions and price up. Won't be using again.

That was possibly the worse food ever , took nearly two hours to deliver the prawn curry was well disgustingly over cooked prawns curry a strange colour and smell , prawn crackers so stale . I do not ever recommend you order from here

I love this Chinese take away. I drive the distance everytime just to get one as they don't deliver to my address (too far). Everything you want and more in a Chinese take away. The salt and pepper chips are to die for and when you ask for a spicy curry, it will be spicy, just how I like it. Highly recommend this place only negative, not a lot of parking to collect

This is 110% the best ever Chinese takeaway I have ever been to, the food is absolutely delicious, always hot and freshly cooked, very large portions, and really good prices, great value for money, and the staff are so friendly, I used to use 2 other Chinese takeaways, but my daughter told me to try ying wah, I tried them and would never go anywhere else, you cannot fault them in any way, absolutely delicious 😋

The staff are always friendly and helpful. They never get the oder wrong and if you've got a special request of how your food is cooked they'll cook it the way you like it. I always look forward to Friday because Friday's is Ying Wah day 😋😊 happy customer happy tummy 😋

Absolutely disgusting! Waited 1.5 hours for food which was utterly disgusting. The prawn crackers were soft and stale. I ordered a main course which came in the size of a side order! Salt & Pepper Chips which are supposed to be spicy were cold, rubbery, bland, and no spice what so ever. They were like reheated oven chips with some vegetables thrown on the top. Don’t waste your time, or your money!

uncooked chicken balls. Not even the batter is cooked. How can the chicken be cooked if the batters still wet and stretchy?

Both our rice dishes was hard and rice needed cooking longer. Spoiled the meal so just ended up eating the chips, the rest went into the bin.

Best Chinese around. Worth it for the signature curry sauce. Cheaper than most too. Never had a bad one.

Had spare ribs tonight for a change, won't be having again no meat at all on them very disappointed as always have from there and usually no problem with the food

waited 2 hours for my order to arrive when it turned up it was the wrong order. The delivery driver couldn’t apologise enough. He went back to get the other order to also be missing a gravy. absolutely annoyed about this. This is not the first time this has happened.

Allways use this place for Chinese takeaway, in my opinion the best around.

Don't order online, they will just ignore your order. Told 60 minutes for delivery, waited 75 minutes. Rang up to be told at least another 30 minutes as it's an online order and there are loads in front of me. What a waste of time Woman on phone couldn't have cared less. Won't be using again. My advice, don't bother with this place.

Ordered a beef curry tasted awful. The beef was thin strips like you get in the frozen slices from farmfoods, the curry sauce was dark brown like a gravy and tasted nothing like a chinese curry that I have ever had. Will stick to over the road,

Ordered on and off from there for years, while the portions have gone down and price gone up I still used. Won't be using any more though, ordered food tonight the chips were horrible, we couldn't eat them they were dry and 100% tasted like they'd been warmed up in the microwave, I know it was 30-40 minutes before closing time but you still expect fresh food!!! near enough 2 full bags thrown in the bin! the chicken balls were soggy and the ribs weren't the best either!

Always a good choice, from using when it first opened in the early 80's in its then "home" up the steps on the Cannock Rd.

Food is always lovely and very tasty but the only one thing to let the Chinese down there delivery is a joke you place an order online says it will be 30 mins it's always an hour to an hour half late I just don't see why they say a certain time when it's not going to be.

Ive always loved kens but the prices have risen and the food is smaller portions i dont eat from here now my friend does thats why its on my maps as i was with them when they ordered food i always use chinese shop across the road as better value for money

First time ordering after many reccomendations we took the plunge from our normal chinese take away. Ordered online paid got notification all fine must be an automated reply telling order ready in 10 mins i was waiting nearly 40 mins but dont mind as food was very good. BUT we were missing curry sauce and prawn ginger dish that was dissapointing the numbers were constant engaged and email to mailbox doesnt work if someone can reply that would be great. We will order again no doubt as apart from above issue very happy..

Great Chinese. We come back at least couple.of times a month. The large portions of egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style are very generous. This place always has a buzz about it and people waiting which is a good sign.

Placed an order for delivery tonight at 7.15pm it arrived over an hour late after 2 phone calls to the take away!! They seemed quite uninterested. Food when it finally arrived was very bland and certainly not worth the wait. We have collected food from here previously and it has been decent, won't be ordering again

I have always used wing wah I thought they were the best takeaway but 4 times now I have waited over 2 hours for a delivery so won't be using them again

Placed an order online for collection and was advised that the food would be ready in 10 min. My teenage son went to collect only to be made to wait 50 min in the shop. Why say 10 min if you know that there is no way it will be ready for then? What is the point of being able to order it online? In this time I could have gone to the supermarket, got the ingredients and got home and cooked it myself. It would have tasted much better. The food was disgusting. I’d hoped for something convenient however this was anything but.

This takeaway has been in my life for long as i can remember, my mom used to order from here wheni was only 9years old,im now in my 30's and i still order here now for my family. I have always loved the way this food tastes and it is very clean,fresh tasting food,perfect consistency in the flavour and food is always hot... and it is rated 5star in hygeine so i would most definately recommend ying wah to all...i recommend the number 55 with fried rice..if you love chicken and beef,then you will love this curry its a personal favourite of mine. Along side the kens special(egg fried rice,chips and either curry,gravy,bbq or sweet &sour sauce..the choice is yours..they are all nice.

This is the first time I've used this takeaway for some time. I placed the order at 5-02pm. They said it would be 40-45 minutes. I phoned again at 6-30pm to see where the delivery was to be told oh we will do it now. They had not even started the order. Hence to say we will not be using them again !!!

Unacceptable delivery waited 2.5 hours. We will not be ordering again. Sorry guys it's just not good enough.

The food is great,and have no problems with it, but everytime I order for delivery,it never arrives on time. In fact no where close to the time. Ying Wah please sort this out, you shouldn't give a time or approximate time if you can't keep to it. If the food wasn't so nice, you would only get one star.

Lovely food but delivery time isn't the best. When you are advised "delivery time is 1 hour" you can give or take 15/20 minutes but a delivery time that runs into 2 hours is shocking!!!
