The best restaurants in England

We were a family of 8 who went for Sunday lunch. Only two of us ordered the roast, with two others going for the fish and chips, two for the mussels and two for the vegan burger. Service was excellent and friendly. The food was good particular thumbs up for the lamb, the mussels and the chips. The fish was a weird shape (think savloy), the batter was beautiful and soft however the fish was rather bland. All in all though a very good menu, very good service and lovely atmosphere.

One of the best cakes I ever had! Honestly these delicious cakes are to die for. It’s healthy and soo good to eat. Honestly it’s a must try. A hidden gem!

With an established ice cream place on the edge of Nantwich, opening a small independent ice cream shop in town is a brave move, but the ice cream/gelato if you’d prefer is fantastic. I’ve not had a flavour that was anything less than awesome. There are about 10/12 flavours, but with a good selection there seems to be something for everyone. Milkshakes made to order while you wait, using any of the ice creams available, are the best ive had. I’ve not tried the coffee but the machine looks impressive. The staff are friendly and very patient, when you’re standing looking at ice cream wondering what to have. It’s my first and only choice for ice cream in Nantwich.

I have had a wonderful expirance at this restaurant today. Such a wonderful staff especially Sindey and GM. If you are looking for authentic Italian food on the budget this is place for you, you will eat delicious healthy food. Good choice of the drinks as well. Staff are very attentive, professional and polite. Atmosphere is Emilies helps you to relax and enjoy the food.

Fabulous little cafe in the middle of the Essex countryside. Arrived a bit late, half an hour before closing in fact - all because Apple Maps took us to the wrong place (Google Maps was fine), but the very friendly staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious, the homemade Tiramisu was to die for! Loved its quirky decor and the fact that it's also a vinyl record shop - have come across similar cafes elsewhere in this country (eg. Cornwall, Devon, trendy parts of London) but not anywhere in Essex - certainly not vegan. 10/10.

Had a lovely lunch, great staff and amazing food. Thoroughly recommend. The Penang curry is home made and beautiful. Mint clean too 👍😋

I have to tell you that the kebabs and lentil soup are absolutely beautiful. So authentic all made fresh in Arabic Bread. I have never tasted a kebab like this and would now not go elsewhere. We went once and go back weekly. Lovely man and wife, very welcoming and take great pride in what they do. Please visit you won't be sorry. Lentil soup is to die for x

Great little treat for the kids at the park. Lovely owner very good with all the kids and had loads of flavours. If you are visiting the park this is a must!! Will be booking her for my daughters birthday party, keep up the good work bringing smiles to all them little sticky faces 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Went to Redcar for the day and visited Footprints cafe great to find it was Disabled and dog friendly. Great food friendly staff even impressed by the products provided in the toilet. Would definitely recommend and use again when visiting

The best vegan burger I have ever had Myself and my son fell upon this burger restaurant inside the pub, I ordered the vegan burger with peanut butter. A strange combination but omg it was amazing I totally recommend this burger My son had the chicken burger, it was huge and amazing too

We went to get some ice cream with friends. They had loads of flavours to choose from! Definitely reccomend the chocolate orange 10/10.

What a treat it was to visit this wonderful little stall. Lydia, the lady who served us was lovely and friendly and took the time to explain how the gelatos are made. I tried a few and they were delicious. The banana is so flavoursome but my favourite has to be the raspberry. As we had already eaten we didn’t get to try the artisan breads an coffees, but there will be a next time! Well worth a visit. 😊
