Food is 10/10, I live in castleford surrounded by Chinese takeaways and will only order from here! Always super friendly and never had a bad experience

Been going here most of my life and it’s the best Chinese I’ve ever had, nothing comes close, not sure if it’s under new ownership but if so please don’t change, perfect as it is

Top food on time. We ordered on a very busy Saturday night. The food was fantastic as always and the lady on the desk was lovely despite it being so busy. Low prices & high quantity compared to other Takeaways. The best takeaway food ever superb Quality 5 star will keep ordering from this take away again...

Absolutely amazing takeaway from Kwok Bo tonight. Haven't used this place in years but after a recommendation from friends we decided to try it again. We weren't disappointed. Quality ingredients, freshly cooked, still hot when delivered.....just fab 😋 Had duck, pancakes, prawn dumplings, salt and pepper chicken, beef in black bean, shredded chilli beef, special fried rice and curry sauce....all spot on. Will not use anywhere else in the future. 10/10

Realy upped their game, had sweet and sour battered chicken, Beef in Blackbean sauce, prawn curry, fried rice, soft noodles, chips and prawn toast, All absolutely delicious, well cooked, hot and tasty. So good going to have again on Christmas eve.

Best Chinese takeaway around Great Preston / Allerton Bywater. Food is top notch, I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Not on just eat and is cash only.

Got a special chow mein no flavour but eatable no flavour at all on the chicken soup binned was like water and ordered meat spring rolls they were flat an empty and mush inside no meat what do ever waste of 15 pound won’t use again gave 1 star would of liked to put no stars and it was cold

Top Chinese takeaway in the area.

We're currently on hols, had a Chinese, had my usual crispy beef, and not a patch on kwok bo, always have mine with the noodles, love the noodles from here.

Generally very good quality food and it's always nice to have a parking spot when collecting. I do miss getting the free bag of prawn crackers though, the fortune cookies are a poor alternative. I understand it's likely a cost decision, but still..

Kwok Bo is a great all rounder and I have never had a poor meal. The salt and pepper chips are unbeatable and they will happily add as part of a meal for a small charge rather than the standard options. No better Chinese takeaways within 5 miles.

Does not accept card, cash only. Also have a poor goldfish behind the counter kept in a dirty, undersized bare tank with no form of enrichment or friends to socialise with. The water was also only half full, making it an even smaller environment for the fish than the already inadequate tank would have provided. Disgusted.

Love the Kwok Bo i ask them to cook my food a certain way and they do it, no quibble no qualms, makes the food real yummy.

Just recently moved into the area so looking for regular chinese takeaway, tonight's dish was Singapore vermicelli with salt and pepper chips. Very nice indeed.

Chickin in oyster saurce! Fantastic never had any problem! They do not take cards so pay cash! Your fault if you have not got enough money! Look on the web site for the prices. Simple.

Food was to salty only got chips fried rice and curry sauce boyfriend got salt n pepper ribs had one bite then binned them waste of money

We were told by someone to try the salt and pepper chicken but sadly it was very very rubbery and dry. I couldn't eat mine but my son's chicken curry was really nice.

chicken undercooked still cold in middle and pink not fresh ingredients all frozen might as well just do it yourself at home instead wasting money also few hours later was very badly never again am I buying from this place.

Food can be very greasy and meat very tuff !! Not the best at all Delivery is fast But I avoid meat as the beef is dry an tuff an chicken taste like it has been rewarded up an chewy . Doesn't taste fresh or even in date

We have used Kwok Bo take away for many years until 2014 when we moved home. Today we rang and ordered some food and were thrilled that they now deliver- and fast. The food was hot and excellent quality, we highly recommend the prompt and brilliant service Kwok Bo offer. We will certainly continue to use their service. Thank you!!!

I placed my order which was repeated back to me...picked up my takeaway and went home to find it was incorrect. I called to explain it wasn't exactly how it was ordered and the girl said it wasn't ordered that way. I assured her it was and it was repeated back to me...the lady said well it wasn't her who took the order so what did I want her to do? When I suggested coming back and picking up the missing item she laughed...I told her to just forget it and I won't be returning. Really upset as I've never had a problem here before and it's only at the end of my street. I'll stick to sunrise in kippax from now on.

Love this place. Great food every time.. My favourite is the chicken curry with fried rice. Everything is always ready fairly quickly too which is a bonus compared with other Chinese’s.

Excellent service, excellent food. Had the Dim Sum combination starter - this was delicious and offered a great portion size. For mains we ordered Black Bean & Plumb Sauce dishes, both were cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. Again, great portions. Excellent, natural service from the team behind the counter & a rather short waiting time (we did ring ahead & order) - will definitely be going back!

I went the week before this visit because Saturday night chinese was a regular thing for 4 of us. When I came to pay (they only take cash!??) Itold them to keep the pound change. The following week we popped to get the same but I'd not picked enough cash up so was 20p short, I was told to go to the cash machine in the shop over the road as they wouldn't let me off with the 20p, it cost me £1.50 to draw out a tenner. My fault because I shouldn't have rushed out of the house, but considering I let them have a quid the week before, and being a regular, they could have waived the 20p or let me pop back later, but no! So now I don't go there anymore and they've lost 22 quid a week for the sake of 20p (about a grand a year) good business sense hey? And, the bloke behind the counter was really ignorant so he won't be missed.

Awful food. Found a huge hair in my duck. Poor staff

Horrid Chinese said hello to bloke behind desk when I walked in said nothing back just stared at me as I looked at the menu! Anyway feeling rushed I ordered salt and pepper wings and special curry fried rice, only came here because my usual (happy kitchen) kippax is closed on a tuesday, got food home chicken wings just didn’t look right at all! And we’re rock solid! Horribal! Curry was just a gloopy mess that awful slime chicken and chewy chewy beef with a couple of frozen king prawns thrown in, 78178977 rice was ok not much egg in tho to say you pay and extra £1 for a quick toss in the wok! Anyway Il never come here again, GLOOPY MESS!!!!!

Ordered a Curry from here; Curry was like water, I telephoned this restaurant to state this, what arrogant and rude staff. The guy back to give me the refund and I gave him back the dreadful Curry. He snatched it out of my hand- then gave me the refund and no apology and walked off no word. That's what I called bad mannered, no Customer Service. Will never use again!! Ever

Pretty good takeaway, seem pretty efficient and delivery usually on time. Curry sauce is probably the best i've had.

No complaints food ok for price paid. To be fair as good as any other Chinese takeaway in the Leeds area, they are all no better than average. Worth a visit.
