Adil's Takeaway in Leeds

Food is not good thay take 1 hour to deliver the food it’s very cold we throw in bin and papadom was totally broken no good

Adils is mine and my partner's favourite place for curries. No other takeaway can compete as far as we are concerned. The chips have room for improvement but curry is 10/10!

Ordered mix calazon in a pizzas got sent a different calzone it was cold we are regulars very disappointed

Delivery drivers can't deliver to the right place so as a baseline I'm rating everything as a 1 star service would be worse if possible for no common sense

Absolute disgrace the food was. Pizza tasted like rubber ordered the meat feast and the majority of the pizza was hard to even chew. And as for dessert we ordered the “cookie dough” from the website expecting literal cookie dough as that’s what it said. But it came as Ben and jerrys ice cream. How hard can it be to specify whether the cookie dough is ice cream or not? Will never be ordering from this place again 0/10 do not recommend.

Absolutely appalling service , been ordering soo long and same mistake again and again

I always use these guys and over and over again same mistake with food but today took the biscuit charging me for delivery when it’s there mistake , never listen to a word u say to them over n over again on phone

The food was absolutely lovely and could not rate enough, however the food took ages to arrive, the first time it took 1hr 35 min and the next it’s been over an hour on a Wednesday for a small order.

Usually order from here all the time but they marked as delivered after being late and never arrived. Won’t be ordering again then.

Been getting take aways from here for a little while. Chicken masala, potatoes wedges, pilau rice all amazing.

Just had a mixed kebab and it was the best around I’ve had. I do need to know what the sauce was though. Love the fresh coriander

I placed an order on uber eats and its been 3+ hours and i still have not received my order called onve and they said delivery driver is outside when he clearly wasnt and called 2nd time and the staff is so unapologetic and asked me to wait another 30min!! worst place to ever order from. Deffo do not recommend when the food arrived it was stone cold

Poor quality food for dear prices. Dont bother. Ordered pizza and it was way iver done, dough, cheese and toppings were not fresh, tasyed like they were weeks old, couldnt eat, dont waste your time

Hi sorry to say but I am not happy with pizza. I ordered 16” half and half pizza, one side for just pepperoni and other side apna style. I remember I told order taker just pepperoni for kids but they put onions and pizza was quite overcooked and little dark and crispy, hard to bite. Sorry this is my honest review.

i have been here 3 times now , every time they say your card payment has not gone through when you are drunk. they make u pay again. and then the payment go through making u may 2x times as much in the morning , do not used this kebab shop unless u wanna pay 2x what originally planned wanna pay. DO NOT USE

I had a kebab delivered. It was the nicest food I have had in a long time. Really tasty full of flavour and good quality kebab meat. Just like the original years ago

I always order from here when I want a quick halal meal at night. Their apna style pizza has always been great and hits the spot for a typical takeaway pizza. If you want authentic pizza I wouldnt say this is the place for it, but its still a nice tasty meal. I've also tried their daal with chapattis while I was missing my mums cooking late at night (when too lazy to cook myself). It was a pretty good daal and was delicious. I especially like their samosa chaat for a cheap eat. Its not like a typical homemade chaat but is still delicious and relatively healthy/non-greasy. I wont comment on delivery since I live literally down the road so my delivery will always be relatively quick so isnt a good representative. Overall a good general asian takeaway as long as your expectations are realistic.

Definitely one of the best curry spots in Leeds and undoubtably the top spot for a late night meal. I would highly recommend their one of a kind kebabs.

Had a fantastic madras curry with chapatis take away. Very reasonable prices, staff more than happy to help explain the many different curry options and to advise.

I ordered a Korma but that is not what I got. I suspect it is whatever curry they had ready with some cream thrown in to make it “korma-ish”. Both the Mint and Chutney dips tasted gone off

Arrived very late, stone cold, not edible and no apology. What a scam, if you want good warm food go else where.

This place is bad. I ordered a kebab with pita bread and it was all wrong. The thing was dry, the pita bread was chewy and rubbery and the "sauce" on a small separate container was just some watery, disgusting mess. And it's not even like it had great prices either...

Had a ruby Murray off these guys and it was fantastic..

Chips nice,Kebab meat tasteless, Mixed Kebab covered in tasteless sauce and chilli sauce (right colour) but tasteless.and half hour late. Won't order again.

Ordered from here yesterday for the first time in a while, got a lamb balti (which comes with rice or 2 chapattis) and chips! It was lovely! The guy on the phone & the delivery guy were both really really nice, helpful and understanding about my broken foot too! Would definitely recommend :) good food, decent prices and excellent customer service!

Never felt lower than eating Adil's food at 4am. ( It was due at 1.30am ) Wish I had covid so I didn't have to taste it.

Absolute jokers. Ordered on Uber Eats and didn't get it, called and no answer. Just a complete con. Save your money and avoid at all costs.

Normally very friendly but on this occasion was very rude told me to hurry up when I rang to get him to cook my food mild and the burger I got had black burnt lines on it

Ordered a madras, recieved what I'd call "slightly worse than a Tesco instant curry". No flavour and no spice despite ordering it extra hot. The lamb seekhs starter was alright though. Would not buy from here again.

The food never arrives although you try ringing the takeaway they don't answer unless you ring from a different phone. And even 45mins later when it states its been delivered and you not received and drive down to the takeaway as they won't answer the phone. The answer you get is we are busy and don't even have the food available. When you question the service the staff including the owner gets abrupt and aggressive. Resulting in kids going to bed on a empty stomach as can't wait up till silly o'clock still without food. They are not bothered about customer service or quality just the money £££££ ROBBING BARSTEWARDS

Walked in ordered 3 chapatis, salad and some mint sauce. Charged me first then 2 minutes later said we cannot do it. I will describe this as a disgrace to business as it happened once before. If you cannot do whatever on your menu just don’t advertise it on menu. Wont be returning again and I suggest people to find alternative as this palace has no morals or ethica when it comes to customers.

APALLING AND DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR I placed an order over the phone. After taking my address and confirming my order when I asked how much it was they were adding on a couple of extra pounds. I told him your website shows different charges and he suddenly said we aren't going to deliver to your address now because we don't deliver there. They have delivered to me many times and when I said this, he got embarrassed and said you need to place a bigger order even though it was the same order I always place. I said that's fine I'l order more, he then said we don't have enough drivers maybe some other time. I said to him how am I supposed to know then when you will accept my order, to which he replied it's upto us. I informed him I will put a review up about this to which he replied we don't care about reviews. Absolutely appalling and disgusting behaviour.

Very affordable. Good quantities. Open till 4am! I like it a lot!

food isn't as brilliant as it was once! Naan was rock hard! the staff are very disrespectful as I asked for tissue but was told not approach them as they don't even bother to answer the phone in the first place till I had to ask then after several minutes of waiting. I had to ask again waiting outside the premises they didn't bother to tell me they had none which was totally absurd and rude for a business establishment. It will be the last time myself or family and friends will order from this useless place!!

Ch tikka and donner mix on naan (hot) is the lick.

Customer for about 8 years until my delivery driver never arrived with my food. It was dealt with horribly by Adils and in the end I had to get a refund for the order through my bank. Disappointing to say the least and I'm sure most would agree a disgraceful way treat a customer with such a long standing...

DO NOT USE ... Ordered from them last night via deliveroo and called to chase up my order and the restaurant lied and claimed they had tried to deliver and call me. Meaning I would be eligible still to pay. After much time spent arguing they hadn't tried to deliver I was given a refund but I very nearly was charged. This takeaway is dodgy and dishonest. They immediately became aggressive on the phone and i could not believe they were claiming they had tried to deliver when they hadnt. I was left hungry after waiting for 1 hour. Do not use they are dodgy.

These make THE best mixed kebab EVER. I still regularly make the 150 mile round trip to eat here. Nearly 24 years ive been using adils and the chef has been there the whole time,

Submitted an order with Adils Takeaway at 12pm. After 2 hours no delivery or attempts at delivery had been made, the phone line was engaged and they are trying to refuse a refund. Avoid these Thieves at all costs.

Rocked up 40mins late, pizza was greasy, left out the popadoms, and the kebab came with no chilli sauce! That’s like ordering a plasma screen with no speakers!

Firm favourite for well over 20 years! Love this place for their curry. Don’t live within their delivery area anymore but still travel to collect when we can. Highly recommend their Tikka Mushroom Masala Korma or Veg Mushroom Masala Korma. However, don’t let the word Korma put you off you can still get it super spicy, it’s not like a normal coconutty ‘korma’ - it’s just creamy like a tikka masala. They also do brilliant spinach curries (not like most curry houses who’s spinach curries are mostly oil with a tiny amount of spinach) never had a better spinach curry anywhere else. Gutted they stopped doing mushroom & chicken pakora though!

My favourite take away. I've been coming here for 20 years as the chicken tikka naan is the absolute best. I live almost 17 miles away but have been known to make a late night run across to Leeds just for a chicken tikka naan when the mood hits.

Ordered the mixed naan kebab and it was so delicious we ordered 1 more. Really recommend the delivery service too as they were swift and delivered very quickly! Will be ordering again!

Just the absolute worst experience- the rudest owner ever. The food got here, opened it and there was chilli sauce under and over the pizza, the pizza was all soggy. The takeaway took no responsibility and the owner said we were at fault and refused to refund or replace the food. AVOID AT ALL COST- no idea how they have any good reviews

I have ordered from here quite a few times and most of the time it has been quite good and very fairly priced. However tonight I ordered the chicken wrap which is my usual order and it was almost inedible. The wrap was tiny and half empty with only one small strip of chicken, it was also extremely soggy, the wrap bread was wet because of so much liquid in the wrap. The lettuce was soggy and soaked in mayonnaise. I managed to salvage the small piece of chicken and the chips were nice as they always are. Over all very disappointed and still hungry☹️

Donner kebab absolutely stunk it was covered with so much sauce maybe so u can’t taste that meaty off taste not how u wud expect an kebab to be, had to bin the whole mix on naan we orderd 5 of them!!! What a shame these guys used to do best mixed on naans in Leeds.

Really tasty home style food. We ordered home delivery at the hotel for 3 days and fully satisfied. Good quantity and up to the mark. Order at least half hour in advance for your meals to be ready. Very co op staff. Keep it up.
