The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Discovered this little gem last week, and have already returned. Food is excellent and a great price. Salt and chilli squid starter to die for. The hostess is wonderful.

Our favourite Chinese for many years. Tried many other takeaways over the years. This one never fails us. No eat in. Just takeaway here

We had a large family group with children and pensioners and everyone had an amazing time. There was very little delay in the service and the food was better than expected having read other reviews. The waiting staff were polite and efficient and ensured we had ever needed throughout the evening; we weren’t rushed. All in all a hugely successful family meal.

Se hizo un gran pedido que incluye verduras especiales de temporada con salsa de judías picantes para llevar. Cuando abrí el plato en casa tenía carne. ( Yo no como carne ). No esperaba carne, tampoco había mención de carne en la descripción del menú. Llamaron a la tienda se negaron a un reembolso, dijeron que viene con carne, simplemente no dice esto en el menú, luego me pidieron que condujera de vuelta a devolver el plato y me cocinarían otro sin carne. Esto significaría que el resto de nuestra orden se enfrió. Señalé esto y pedí un crédito de mi próximo pedido la próxima vez que entré o se van y lo cambian para que al menos el resto de mi pedido no estuviera frío. Se negaron. Nunca volveré a visitar. Información incorrecta del menú poco clara. Espantoso servicio al cliente. No recomiende.

Great takeaway Chinese, quick service good quality food, can either call in or phone for delivery's, friendly helpful staff.

Being in my early 40s now and having many Chinese takeaways over 3 decades, this is absolutely hands down our favourite Chinese and the only place we get from now! As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough! No habíamos estado en años porque el tiempo lasr no era una buena experiencia con bandejas vacías, comida fría y un mal servicio. Las 3 veces de este año fueron excelentes. Las bandejas siempre estaban llenas y la comida caliente con una gran selección de varios platos, así como barra de ensaladas y una gran selección de postres. hicimos reservas ya que íbamos los sábados por la tarde y se pone ocupado. El servicio fue amable y rápido, es tan bueno tener un manadarín más cerca para ir de nuevo con buena comida, selección y servicio. Tan feliz que has mejorado y las 3 veces fueron excelentes. El valor es bueno también. Tenemos la oportunidad de probar tantos platos diferentes y disfrutar de un almuerzo junto con amigos y familiares. Gracias John.

This crispy was not crispy at all. The chicken was like rubber tough and not at all crispy. I also had to go and get cash out because the machine was t working so it cost me £1 75 extra at the cash machine . I rang up and just got "sorry" no offer of a tea I could eat !!!! So £11 down the drain. Very disappointing service and food

Nice traditional music, great service from staff and the food is good in great portion sizes! Especially for the price. Cannot complain aside from being what my Chinese friends describe as being English Chinese.

I've travelled all over the world, and the Yantze restaurant has provided some of the best food and dining service I've ever had. The staff at the yantze have always been kind and caring, delivering the best service, and even surprised me with a memorable conversation from a few years ago, about the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe book series. As you embark on your well-deserved retirement, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful dining experiences you've provided for myself, my family, and my friends. Really nice food and decent portion sizes, ordered on Uber eats, came early in under an hour & food was hot. Would order again.

If you’re looking for a tasty, authentic Chinese takeaway, I highly recommend Golden Fish Bar

First time trying this Chinese and it was probably the best Chinese I have ever had. The food had plenty of flavour in every dish we had. The beef was excellent and noodles were tasty. We had various other dishes too which were all excellent. Will 100% be ordering from here again next time I visit.

If YOU love tastless sloopy greesy Singapore rice noodles. WITH DRY OLD CHICKEN Deep fried greesy big boned meatless plain ribs THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO COME. BACK IN THE DAY YOU COULDNT FAULT THIS PLACE FOR FOOD, AND ATMOSPHERE IT WAS RUN & MANAGED WITH LOVE.. NOW SUPER REHEAT,ED, DEEP FRYIED RECYCLED DISRESPECTFUL FOOD.. WANTED CASH NO CARD WHEN ORDERING ON PHONE. DROVE 8 MILES TO GET THERE. WELL PISSED. NEVER AGAIN.
