Very average food and very overpriced. I would avoid if you're sensitive to Mono sodium Glutamate food enhancer as they seem to use alot of it here..

A set menu for Chinese new year, for 4 people, menu was fish based but included a chicken dish and pork dish. All I can say is that it was terrible, the lobster first course was half or quarter between 4 with shell still on so you couldn't even eat it. The sliced beef, 1 slice each, was inedible, the salt was incredible, same for the piece of chicken we had, the desert was a joke, a round ball of dough with sesame seeds on it. The meal was 45 each but with wine we paid £60 each. We have been on a Sunday and had more choice of food for half the price. Needless to say we won't ever be back, we feel cheated.

This has got to be the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to ! First off my partner booked us a table 2 days prior , on arrival we were informed our booking was not in the book. I say luckily, but looking back now I’d say unluckily they had plenty of tables anyway. We were sat in what looks like an extension which must be next to the yard , part way through the night we could smell cigarette smoke coming from the outside. The waiting staff were very friendly and can’t fault them at all. We ordered a few starters , they came out very fast , may be seen as a good thing but to me that just said they must be precooked and reheated, and that’s exactly how everything tasted. Everything was swimming in oil at the bottom of the dishes , bland , chewy and greasy. So we moved on to the mains which was no better I got Cantonese sauce with chicken , just the smell alone put me off , it stank of vinegar and sugar , I tried one piece of chicken and it felt slimy , I honestly wanted to spit it out. So I didn’t end up eating any of that either. As for dessert fried banana or fried pineapple, ice cream at an extra charge. I was so disappointed with this experience, definitely not worth £28 per person. I have never left an all you can eat buffet hungry before , this time I did as the only thing that was remotely edible was the complementary prawn crackers. Absolutely waste of money. The toilets also disgusting and smelt strongly of cabbage. Will definitely never come back.

Sounded promising, all you can eat for £27 per person. We were presented with the menus and the ordering process was explained. Then a block of notepaper was given to us and on it we had to write our orders in a certain way then hand it to one of the waiting staff. Fairly straightforward and not long after the starters arrived, they were on the frugal side so we ordered another round, again more of the same. The quality of the food ranged from excellent to pound shop, and I would rate it on par with an average 'take-away' and there were people lined up collecting take-aways from the bar. We ordered our mains which arrived, again these were frugal portions but adequate if you like take away quality food in a restaurant setting. The waiting staff became less attentive as the evening went on so it was more difficult to place orders so we all thought we had had enough after our two starters and one main. The desserts were not worth considering, a banana concoction or an ice-cream which you had to pay an extra £2 for. The atmosphere was loud, awful music coming from a booming sound system, people shouting over it, others walking in and out collecting orders leaving the doors open with an icy blast blowing through the room. It was chaotic and unpleasant. I could have ordered a take-away and sat in comfort with my friends at home for at least half the price of what we paid. I would not recommend this restaurant.

First time.visiting , and wow, very busy, but o so good well worth a visit if you haven’t been , choose what you want they bring it, if you want more, they bring it, had a round of starters, then did the same with the mains, pick your numbers from the menu, give it to the waitress, Simple as that, great Value for money if you go on a Sunday .

1/5 is too god a score for this place! Never, ever again! What a waste of money. Slow and shocking service forgetting everything and needing prompting which totally ruined a family night out. Constant phone ringing, no atmosphere, loud and canteen like nor music led to a simply shambolic evening. Not even a complimentary drink as an apology. Food was bland, chewy meat, cold and poor quality. I would put your money elsewhere sadly we won't be back.

Great value and all dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. Wouldn't pay for the extras though as not worth it and the house wine is like vinegar but I guess that's the gamble. 2 hours was ample at the table and didn't feel rushed at all. Will definitely be back

Sadly this will have been our last visit to wok so ever. We made it a thing to meet in this lovely place once a month for a family catch up. Today was over packed, service was slow, and after 1 hour and 20 mins we was rudely informed that we had 10 mins left to eat up and leave, this was the 1st time we had ever been informed of a time limit of 1 hour and 30 mins, we could have understood if we had been informed at any point or had been told on any of our other visits

Amazing service, like how the restaurant is laid out and how it works, food is amazing especially compare to normal all you can eats, isn’t too salty and greasy, it’s cooked to perfection !! Love the way how u order the food rather than a normal buffet style at a all u can eat and service is prompt, definitely value for money and will be returning !!

Got told by the staff all food is cooked in the same pans including vegetarian food. They were unwilling to clean a pan saying its impossible to do this. If you're vegan/ vegetarian its cross contaminated.

Only provided with the all you can eat buffet menu and had to specifically request the dim sum menu and even then only allowed to order from one page and not mix and match. Too expensive for the quality - £25 per person. Waiting staff lovely. However, all unwell the next day and youngest sick in the night. Will not return.

My husband fancied a Chinese to sit in rather than take out so we finally decided to try woksoever after hearing good things about it. We decided to try the all you can eat buffet as buying off the menu just a starter etc the price was going to be about the same. You choose a few starters and write the numbers down and the staff take the paper away. They do ask you to order a couple of items at a time rather than choosing items you dobt end up eating. There is a really good choice from starters to mains. There are a few with an extra supplement but we found more than enough without having to pay the extra charges. Everything was cooked really good, with quality ingredients and amazing taste. The staff were all really friendly and clearly work hard. I had wrote the wrong number for one starter which I realised when it arrived. The staff offered to take away and change despite being my error but i decided to keep it and glad i did. The only reason given 4 stars instead of 5, is it gets busy and a couple of times we were waiting longer for our choices to be taken and arrive. Despite that was worth it and one I'll definitely go back to.

Re writing my review.I deciding to order from here, from the good reviews around the restaurant itself, and a friend of mind using the takeaway Its a bit more then we usually pay for a Chinese, but it came with starters, so we went for it as a treat for my birthday. At fifteen pounds ahead wasn't far off £50 pound for the three of us with delivery No problem ordering or the delivery, which was virtually on time, give or take twenty minutes, certainly came with a lot of plastic containers.Now, you can choose a number of starters, each. My daughter had, little spring rolls 7/10, chicken balls,7/10 and spicy chicken wings, 5/10 as she said they weren't perticular spicy at allMy wife ordered onion rings 5/10, soggy. Chicken skewers in the peanut sauce 7/10, and breaded chicken which arrived in sweet sauce, which she wasn't expecting to have. So they were binned as no one wanted them, 0/10Me, well I ordered chicken skewers, which I gave to the wife, because she didn't eat two of her starters. But, I went for the, barbecued spare ribs, x2, each container had five small square bits of ribs, the taste was there, but meat wise, next to nothing, probably outdone by the fat. Very disappointing.The ribs I get from other takeaways are far better, larger with meat. Not been able to eat here for a while so thought we would have a take away delivered. The ordering was simple over the phone, the meal was delivered on time and the quality and value was as always the best in Cottingham. The food was every bit as good as eating in the restaurant. Looking forward to returning as soon as it all is back to normal but until then will continue to enjoy their excellent food at home. Will never go to any other chinese take away in Cottingham apart from this place ever again.

Ordered the takeaway for three, with delivery just touching £50. Went on recommendation from a mate. And looking at the positive reviews.Just looking at the photos of the restaurant food, looks awesome. Alas I wasn't overly impressed with the takeaway. One said they had huge portions, and had enough for the day after. Really? Certainly not in my case My wife enjoyed her main, the omelette,(7/10) wasn't as keen on her starters, left the battered chicken, because it had a sweet sauce covering it.wasnt expecting it to have a sauce. I don't eat breadcrumb or batter, so they ended up been wasted, Onion rings were soggy.(5/10) Daughter, had chicken curry with was fine,(8/10) chicken balls okay(7/10), mini spring rolls okay(7/10). Spicy chicken wings, were hardly spicy (6/10), her view. Now, I always get Singapore fried rice, and barbecue spare ribs from other Chinese places , so first time giving this place a try, I went for the same.I wasn't overly impressed, one of my starters chicken satay, I gave mine to the wife as she didn't eat one of her starters. So I had, the barbecue spare ribs x2,starter I ordered ,now I found these little square pieces, had the favor, but meat wise I struggled, rather fatty some of them . (5/10). I much prefer mine from the other places, larger and more meat on the ribs. SorryNow, I was surprised by my Singapore fried rice, looking at the clear tub, my first thought, it didn't look fried, more like normal boiled rice, with slight colouring. And although it wasn't unpleasant, it did feel like eating boiled rice, plenty of prawns and bits of other meats. But again, I prefer mine to have a spicy kick like the other places I get from, and they tend to have more meat.so (5/10)My, little one",aged seven, likes Chinese sausages or burgers in gravy. So as you get a extra main, we got her sausage in gravy, and as one of the sides, she had the chips. Alas she wouldn't eat these ones, don't like them she stated . So they were wasted, (5/10)given for the gravy chips. Now, for all its hype, the price, I wasn't overly impressed. Decent enough. But, when your saying to each other its okay, edible, you know it was slightly lacking Personally, looking at the pictures and restaurant reviews, I will certainly look to give that a go. I wish woksoever, all the success, in these uncertain times.

Ordered takeaway at 4.30 for delivery at 7pm but were warned that it might be between 7 and 7.30pm when it was delivered. Called at 8pm to chase and told it was on it's way. Finally arrived after 9pm. No apology or explanation. Complained on FB alongside other people experiencing the same issue. They deleted all of our comments.

I’d been looking forward to visiting the restaurant with family and upon arrival all was good. Pleasant staff and nice clean restaurant with COVID precautions and social distancing being observed.. Menu looked good, plenty of choice on the starter side of things although the mains section seemed to lack appeal due to how it was presented on the menu. So between ordering and the arrival of starters timing wasn’t bad considering the amount of custom they had that night. What came was decent presentation, although plates for you to put your food on were tiny, these could have definitely done to have been larger. Now on to the food itself I felt that what we were eating was below average and not what I was anticipating considering several good reviews on here. I found that some of the starters tasted over done and the seaweed which I always like wasn’t edible, it tasted awful. Some of our starters were missed along with some we ordered extra of. Aromatic duck we received 4 pancakes only enough to have one each. I know a lot of places the amount of pancakes are never enough but here I could only use the word stingy.. Onto the mains, part of our order was a beef dish were the beef tasted very cheap, bean sprouts, egg fried rice and noodles we ordered for our sides tasted bad and again inedible.. Drinks, no beers on draught just small 330ml over priced bottles. If you wanted a larger bottle which all should have been 500ml you had to have a cider..So our bill came to over £100 and we left feeling robbed due to below average food. We wont be returning and cannot recommend Wok So Ever to anyone.

We went as a group of 5 on a Wednesday night at 6pm. We thought it would be quiet especially as eat out to help out had just finished, but it filled up pretty quickly. There were only 2 waitresses and the lady serving drinks from the bar so they were very busy. An extra pair of hands would have been useful but we weren't waiting too long and they were extremely polite, friendly and apologetic. (Was saddened to hear how rude customers had been to these ladies during eat out to help out when it was very busy and people had to be a bit patient! ) It was a £20 all you can eat menu, so basically ordering whatever dishes you wanted from starters and main courses. The food was pretty quick to arrive and didn't disappoint. It was all excellent quality and we all enjoyed everything we ordered. Would highly recommend and we shall definitely be returning.

Me and my husband booked a table two weeks in advance! It was during the eat out to help scheme was happening so we knew it would be busy, however, the queue had approximately 20-30 people waiting outside. The people in front of us had already been waiting 45 minutes and they arrived on time. We walked away because there was going to be a long wait. I’m very disappointed as they obviously booked too many people in and they could not cope with all the bookings. This is not what the scheme should be about, I truly believe they have lost more future customers as all the people where very angry.

We visited whilst the EOHO Scheme was on. Booked a table which is highly recommended as it gets booked up quickly. Waited a few minutes to be seated but this was fine as it was tea time and very busy. This is an all you can eat restaurant so people were taking advantage of the scheme that’s currently running. Food that came out was lovely, tasty and presentation was good. We had a mixed starter for 3 with some additional starters added on so the plate was big with the selection of our choices. Hot and sour soup was lovely too !! Decided on mains and this arrived pretty quickly considering how busy they were but I wasn’t complaining. Ate majority of my main aside from the rice and chips which I shouldn’t really of ordered both but hey it’s all you can eat right !! (My sons finished off what I couldn’t eat)Enjoyed my first visit and will definitely return. Thank you

Six of us went to Woksoever in early August. One couple of never been to the restaurant before and, understandably, were very very impressed. The Restaurant has really engaged in CV 19 screening and even though it’s challenging at the moment the amount of people in the restaurant, properly segregated, and the amount of staff, ensure that our dinner experience was really good. Woksoever has become a favourite of mine over the last few years and I opted to go for my birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic. After the Chancellor's announcement of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, my partner and I decided to give it a go as our first meal out since February - and at £9.99 each for all you can eat, that's a serious bargain.After arriving, it was clear that many others had the same idea: I have never seen the restaurant so busy. We were sat in the garden room next to a big open window which was lovely, as there didn't seem to be enough social distancing going on for my liking and the building was very hot.The menu was as delicious as ever, but the waiting times for food on this Wednesday evening were far too long. We waited around 30-45 minutes between each course, with some dishes being forgotten altogether. Because of this, we actually only had 3 starters and 1 main each.The service was very friendly over the course of the evening, but it's clear that the restaurant wasn't prepared for just how busy it was going to be.Had I been paying full price (£20 each), I would've been particularly disappointed. However, as the price was reduced, and the full bill came to £24 for two people and drinks, I let it slide.This trip to Woksoever had the same delicious food (and the best you could get anywhere in East Yorkshire), but was let down by very long wait times, that stripped it of the value for money aspect it always had going for it.

Group of us attended for a birthday meal, seated promptly and drinks order was taken as and when people arrived. Once all drinks had arrived the waitress started to take our order, answering quieries along the way. There was a slight wait for food, but the restaurant was very busy so understandable. Food was piping hot and as ordered, we ordered a few more items as and as and when required. Starters were removed, main courses ordered again a delay. Lovely food and staff aroundd to order more drinks/food as required.

Enjoyed a lovely family meal here again. Food excellent very consistant. Good choice of all you can eat foid.well presented and served hot unlike some places.Staff very friendly and attentative. Well worth a vist

This is an amazing restaurant with first class food at very reasonable prices. I cannot recommend it more highly.

It seems like ages since we crossed the Humber Bridfge to go for lunch at our favourite Chinese restaurant. As always our meals were cooked to order and just as good as ever. Thursdays are not the best of days to find parking due to the market being open but all I can say it the delayed lunch was worth it.

We’re not local but always try and come when we’re visiting family . Suggest you study the menu before you attend if there are a few of you as it saves a lot of time. Service is always good and the food is excellent . Need to be careful as it’s very easy to be greedy and order to much as it’s all so tasty . Can’t wait to go back

Amazing food, nothing too much trouble for staff and felt welcomed and valued for whole visit. All food was amazing, staff so helpful and friendly. 6 of us had all you can eat menu everything fresh and hot and so tasty can’t wait to go back! Added a couple of items whilst having the meal and quickly the appeared.

Visited Monday night before Christmas. Was busy but relaxed. We had the all you can eat menu which is cooked to order. Took a friend who had not been before and she was very impressed. The honey chicken on the starters is so tasty. We had 2 rounds of starters and 2 rounds of main course tried a couple of new dishes all was fab and we had great service. We have been here a few times before and never once have we had a bad meal and we will return for many more. Well woth a visit.

I had never been here before but visited with family and was really impressed with it. The service was a little slow but the place was absolutely packed so I think the staff were doing the absolute best, they were all so lovely. The food was delicious and it was all piping hot when it came out. I would definitely eat here again. I think booking in advance would be essential to get a table. They also do take away if you don't want to eat in.

Went for colleagues bday meal. The service was attentive. Great choice to choose from, in regards to the menu. Starters were lovely, enjoyed by us all. Order what you want as many times as you can, fresher then a typical all you can eat buffet. Only downside was a bone found within the chicken, on one of our main meals. But other then this, can not fault..

Came here with my husband for a well deserved treat and was not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was just beautiful, fresh, extremely tasty and definitely all you can eat we were absolutely stuffed. We left very happy and will definitely be going back!

As a family with two teenagers and two younger. We can't fault woksoever. We love it. Service is perfect, I think I am referred to as the chicken satay lady Haha, they are just amazing. The food is excellent and I have never eaten at any all you can eat, like woksoever, as good as woksoever and as such good value. I dont live in Cottingham. We live 15 miles away. Would never be out of the place if we lived any closer. Any family celebrations, birthdays etc...everyone's choice is woksoever.

A group of 16 of us came to celebrate our friend’s birthday, we found the service to be be very attentive, the food was delicious all freshly cooked. We didn’t have to wait for service or for the food to be delivered to our tables. Nothing seemed too much trouble to the staff who were all friendly and polite. We all commented we would return as a group as well as with our respective families. Many thanks for looking after us!

Perhaps the worst meal i have had the misfortune to pay for.On arrival we were left to stand for a few minutes until a member of staff almost by accident bumped into us and asked if we had booked a table ,we were then pointed to our table NOT taken ,great start.The place was packed and incredibly noisy.After 10 minutes we were asked if we would like a drink and did we want to order .The mixed appetisers were very poor and its easy to see why this all you can eat makes money everything is half the size ,the smallest spring roll ever the ribs are the bony end and the prawn toast like a postage stamp .We also ordered the chill squid( three pieces and like fried cardboard) and salt and pepper chicken wings( two pieces ) and both on the same plate!!.You have to pay extra for the crispy duck so had the crispy pork which wasn't crispy and the pancakes although in a steamer basket clearly had not seen any steam and were cold also the hoisin sauce was watered down and weak.We then sat with our empty plates in front of us for 20 mins staff speeding by without a second glance ,i eventually cleared our plates myself and took them to the kitchen area and a passing waitress asked me to put them on a tray of dirty plates she was carrying .This alerted the waitress that we were ready for or mains ,all i can say is the three dishes we ordered were nothing short of awful i picked at them but my wife ate nothing .We couldn't wait to leave and how anyone would find this hell hole a pleasurable experience is beyond me ,maybe we went on a bad day .Ok it was all you can eat so you cant expect nouvelle cuisine but a basic level of service and quality of food is expected neither of which we received.WOK SO NEVER AGAIN.

Went for my husband’s birthday with my daughter and son in law. The meal was lovely. We ordered mixed starters, spicy calamari, satay chicken, vegetable lettuce cups, seaweed and shredded pork pancakes for starters. For main course: vegetable chow menu, house chow main, lemon chicken, Thai red curry, crispy beef, Singapore rice and noodles. Everyone enjoyed the food. The staff are lovely. My son in law is vegetarian and we asked if the vegetarian food could be served on separate plates, no problem at all. The menu is ‘all you can eat’ for £16.99 a head and with two rounds of drinks the bill was a very responsible £85. We had a lovely night. This was our 2nd visit and we will definitely go again.

Visited as a party of 12 ....the venue is ok if a little dingy. Initial service seemed okay, orders for drinks and starters took promptly however it appears the staff struggled with the size of the group and didn’t bring the food ordered, appeared to just be a selection....the further starters were ordered and I would consider the food to be average....Chinese food is one of my favourites yet I found this food quite bland....waited over an hour for the staff to revisit the table for mains....service very slow....wouldn’t recommend or revisit based on this experience. The place was really busy though so must appeal to some.

Pre booked a table for 4 a week in advance, arrived at restaurant and shown to table with menu's, this is all you can eat at a set price, with a few things extra...starters ordered and was told kitchen very busy and in would filter thru in bits...well this was the case as well as having to chase things that had'nt come.... Food was hot and tasty but service needs to be improved....

Definitely the best Chinese buffet restaurant by far. Everything cooked fresh to order, great service and good value for money

Really good value for money. Food is perfect. Enjoyed every dish we ordered. The aromas from the chow mein dish especially and the hot and sour soup were so yummy! Will definitely go again!

Visited for a last minute night out with friends. Went for the all you can eat buffet menu and wow not the usual buffet style dining. No lukewarm pans of dried up food to pick from but a long list of starters and mains to pick from and they all then come freshly cooked. We couldn’t fault anything we had. The squid was lovely and the deep fried mussel main was delicious. To top it off staff were lovely and polite. We’ll definitely be back.

We booked after reading great reviews on trip advisor of gluten free Chinese food . Had fabulous meal excellent service and clean surroundings . Would highly recommend for coeliacs as s safe place to eat .

Arrived just before Seven on a Saturday night. Our booking wasn't listed but not a problem. We ordered the mixed starters which duly arrived all freshly cooked and could not fault any of them.,we ordered several more and they just kept on coming off the All you can eat menu. We couldn't find anything wrong with the food and can't wait to visit again!

Very disappointed,had seasonal vegetables with garlic,expected a variety of vegetables ,when the meal came it consisted of a plate of spring onions with spinach, I would have expected some onions, peppers,mushrooms maybe water chestnuts especially as it costs £9.50 just for the veg(spring onions)!!! Nobody came over to ask how the meal was , won’t be visiting again .

A good value all you can eat menu, not a buffet, you just order what you want and keep ordering as much as you like (if you can get the staff to come to your table) some of the dishes were nice but some were quite bland, three dishes tasted exactly the same! But overall, if you like quantity over quality then give this restaurant a try.

I’ll start with the positives - we went as a party of 6 on a Saturday night - it was very busy - despite its business the service was very good - the staff were very friendly & helpful and we were given ample opportunities to order more food. The food was nice portions, good quality and good value. It is an all you can eat menu and is more of a pop in restaurant than a luxury sit down meal experience

Amazing service, amazing food. Everything was brilliant. I come here quite a lot with family and friends and it always impresses. The saki is lovely as well if you drink. Loved my meal and would come again!!

Went on a Friday night, luckily we booked a table because it was really full which is always a good sign!! Not surprised as the food was lovely n drinks was nice and cheap! Well worth the money and will definitely be returning!

A group of 6 went at 6pm on a Saturday and decided on the "all you can eat menu". On each course we each chose a different dish which gave us the opportunity to sample each of the other dishes with ease and order more if required. Although they were busy service was excellent and was prompt with ordering and bringing the next course - again we each ordered a different dish. For those who have large appetites this is the ideal menu to choose although limited sweet course on offer.

Myself and hubby had the most fantastic meal this is the reason we keep coming back as the food and staff are amazing special thanks to Wendy brilliant as ever will see you soon my favourite place for a meal.x

Attended with family and had the Sunday lunch set menu. Great range of food and great value for money. Will be returning.

Had lunch with three friends no one else in the restaurant at all the whole time we were there open 12 till 2. We arrived at 12.10 the place was locked up shut! I was ringing them could hear the phone ringing inside when two ladies arrived to open up and let us in. No problems finding a table! The lunch menu was quite varied very reasonably priced under £10 for starter,main, coffee/ tea. The staff were very friendly. We were served quite quickly the food was freshly cooked very nice. We choose three different starters and got three of everything three ribs thee prawn toast etc the portions were very small as were the main courses. No complaints about the taste quality of the food. The toilets on the other hand were in need of some serious cleaning the walls doors were very dirty could do with a coat of paint the toilet and sink could not be discribed as clean.

It's been a while since we've been here but was very impressed.

Enjoyed a lovely evening last night here with friends. Excellent food well cooked and good choice of various dishes. Staff very helpful and friendly. Well worth a vist.

Booked a table for four two of who are Coeliac’s and two who are not. Restaurant was very busy, but we were taken straight to our table we requested the gluten free menu which is in the al la carte menu. We all ordered from the gluten free menu which is extensive, starting with the best crispy duck. Staff are knowledgeable about gluten free options. My review is top marks all round, great food and great service and can’t wait till our next visit.

This was our first visit in 3 years as we were left unimpressed by the service and waiting times. Unfortunately this has not improved. We were left waiting for long periods of time inbetween our courses and none of our orders came together. Some dishes were placed on our table and we left to watch them go cold as we waited for the rest to come. The food is freshly cooked and cannot be faulted for its quality however the slow service spoilt our evening. When we complained we were given the exact same excuse as 3 years ago that they were short staffed. I strongly advise to avoid visiting during busy periods (Friday-Sunday). High quality food but very slow service.

We've been a few times to this restaurant and hands down it's the best Chinese we've been too, the food is always hot and comes fairly quickly considering it's always full when we go. It's always best to pre book a table although walk ins are allowed it just gets very busy. The menu is huge for you to choose from. But everything is cooked to order which is why we enjoy it so much, portions are a decent size too and you can order as many times as you like, there is always a member of staff on hand to help if needed, they're all friendly and happy. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Chinese, you won't be dissapointed.

Went on a Monday evening so the restaurant was fairly quiet but the food was very fresh and arrived promptly. The food was very tasty - we even went for a second round of some of the same starters they were so nice! Service was fine - not overly attentive but no issue in ordering what we wanted.

We have eaten here on a number of occasions. We decided to go for the 'all you can eat' banquet. The food was fantastic, and there was copious amounts of it. The range of options is huge, with items to satisfy all tastes. The atmosphere was busy and bustling, so make sure you book a table, especially at weekends, or you may have a long wait or be disappointed by being unable to be catered for. The staff are cheery and efficient. Highly recommended.

We went as a group of 6 friends. We saw the recommendation on google and having been given an award, so thought we would visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The chef was brilliant and replaced some ingredients in meals for personal taste. Starter menu had a vast choice and all the food we had was tasty, seasoned well and hot. Could not recommend this place enough. All for such a good price per person too. Thank you for such a lovely and pleasant evening out

After reading reviews on here I was a bit worried about service/bar service, I shouldn’t have been, it was outstanding, plenty of staff serving food constantly and always at least 2 behind the bar, the place was full and the atmosphere was great, all in all I would definately recommended this place

Visited last night great food and great service. Can’t wait to return. All you can eat menu superb. Fresh food keeps coming and coming can’t usually get past the starters. Would recommend this place.

Amazing value this place. We stumbled across it one night hidden down a passageway in Cottingham. What a find!! For a set price it’s an all you can eat menu and the choice of menu is truly amazing. The starters are my favourite and I could happily eat them all night if my stomach would let me! The staff are extremely patient and if you’re unsure what to go for, they’ll suggest some dishes for you. On a weekend it gets busy so booking is recommended but I’ve gone during the week without having to book. If you live Chinese food - this is the place to try in the Hull area! Highly recommended!

Have been meaning to review this restaurant, went a few weeks ago with friends for the first time. Totally delicious food, cooked fresh and served piping hot. The waiting staff were very attentive when ordering but kept a discreet distance when eating so not in your face constantly clearing away like some Chinese restaurants which gets annoying. If I put my hand up to reorder there was someone at your table immediately, smiling and helpful. Overall fantastic food at a fantastic price, will definitely be going again.
