The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Probably the worst Chinese I’ve had! Not very warm, very little sauce for the chicken balls, no flavour throughout, very disappointing

Bit hit and miss this place. Randomly went twice in a week. First time was superb. Manager is a bit strange felt like he was hanging around us alot and always in the background staring. Annoyed me a bit that he said we better eat all the food we ordered. But on the whole the food was all good. Second time. The service was really not good. Left us forever with the starters and didn't take them away and take mains ordered I just had two ask again and again. When they brought the mains they lefts us with no plates or cutlery for ages and again had to ask twice which wasn't good. Food was good as always. Prices for the made to order buffet have certainly gone up alot since the last time I went

Chicken n sweetcorn soup inedible..so peppery had to throw away..duck was well overcooked so not much meat on our half size..pancakes were awful..packet wax full of oil n they were so thin they just broke up. The sauce resembled tomato sauce certainly not nice..Cucumber n spring onions were in such a tiny pot n not enough at all. So disappointed about the whole meal...was a Mothers Day dinner. Never again. Shame as we love our Chinese. Surely in Eastbourne there is a proper Chinese!!!

Food is not bad, but extremely overpriced, same food anywhere else for half price.

I collected a Saturday evening takeaway meal of three dishes two weeks ago.The meal consisted of a starter, a main and a noodle dish. I unknowingly, ate my meal but my wife ate only half of hers. As she was clearing the plates she said”OMG! come here.” She showed me the live worm moving around in the meal of noodles and chicken. She was shocked and revolted and very, very angry! When I contacted the Eastern Oriental they offered to reimburse me or give me another meal! Why would I want another meal? Now I was furious! To prove how concerned they were about my complaint they later refunded £7 onto my credit card for one dish! My total bill was £20.10 for the three dishes. This made me so angry that I contacted the Environmental Health Department who are now investigating. I certainly DO NOT recommend!

Heard good things but can’t say we were impressed. Took nearly two hours to arrive after ordering. Food arrived cold and wasn’t great. £40 for two people, far too much for what arrived. Won’t be returning.

Amazing chinese food. Soooo delicious. We are converted to use this Chinese restaurant & takeaway now (have tried most in Bedford). Is slightly more expensive than others but you get much better flavour and quality. They do set meals too but everything on menu is lovely and always enough for next day.

Estaba en Nottingham por trabajo y por mi cuenta. Era lunes por la noche y me apetecía mucho un curry chino. Así que puse una búsqueda en google maps y procedí a caminar por unos cuantos restaurantes chinos buscando uno que se llevara mis fantasías. Miré a bastantes, todas las cuales parecían un poco cuerdas, y no me tentaron. Pensé en ir a una última (la del hombre) y si eso no es bueno conseguir algo más para comer. Llegué allí y miré adentro y se veía muy bien, así que entré. El resto estaba ocupado y yo estaba sentado cerca de la puerta. Miré a mi alrededor y noté que yo era el único no asiático en el lugar. Esto creo que debe ser una buena señal. El personal era muy amable y pedí el entrante mixto, que consistía en algas, costilla mayúscula, rollito de primavera, pollo satay y tostadas de gambas. Había mucho allí y todo estaba muy bien. También había pedido un pollo al curry para mi plato principal, ya que me había estado apeteciendo uno durante semanas. Bueno, no decepcionó. Fue el mejor curry chino que he probado. Los sabores eran irreales. Es probablemente el curry chino más picante que he probado también, pero me gusta la especia, así que eso fue una ventaja. No era demasiado picante, pero no tiendo a encontrar curry chino tan picante. De ninguna manera es barato, pero definitivamente obtienes lo que pagas. Antes de hacer esta revisión miré las críticas anteriores y me sorprendió ver cuántas malas críticas tiene este lugar. Todo lo que puedo decir es que lo intentes y tomes tu propia decisión. Although there are several takeaways in Helston, my partner and I always choose Moonflower in Porthleven. The food is consistently hot, fresh, and full of flavor, making it our go-to takeaway. We don’t mind waiting an hour as it’s always worth it. Our favorites are the King Prawns Kung Pao and the Chef’s Special Chow Mein Udon. I especially love the fried seaweed. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the weekend, and we never tire of ordering the same delicious meals. Highly recommended!

Been here a few times. Always good food and good service. Catered well for a friend who is vegetarian. Highly recommended and will use again as some of the best Chinese food I have had. Thank you.

Ordered tonight and all I can say is not even my teenager would eat his. Both rice dishes dry. Salt and Pepper chicken no taste what so ever. Not the first time it’s been a let down but it will be the last. When you call up to complain about the dry tasteless food the lady is not interested as they have already taken your money. Never again.

Came here last night, was staying nearby and read some good reviews. Well I have to say...food was outstanding, service and welcome was lovely...don't expect a fancy resturant as its not that, but the food was fresh , tasty and plenty of it. Extensive menu and they were all so friendly and accommodating. Value for money, second to none! Would have paid triple for what we had somewhere else!

Only person in, sounded like a child with a heavy repetitive cough sat in the chip area… rather be under staffed and have a wait, than catch this illness and pass it onto elders during the festivities…
