Didn’t know it changed owners normally the food is nice and tastey the seaweed wasn’t crunchy or surgery the satay chicken in sauce was watery the chicken curry was watery wasn’t much taste to any of the food won’t be ordering again. The last owner the food was amazing big fat 0 from me

Waited an hour and had to ring. Finally arrived. Ordered the crispy duck. Was all fatty and slimy couldn't tell what was meat if there was any, I sent it back and they replaced it but was the same. Won't order again. The service was good but food is a no.

Used to be one of the best, but the menu (and maybe the owner) has changed recently, the food on my last visit was awful.

Have used Lee House for years and it was mostly okay. Ordered a takeaway tonight but didn't realise it had changed ownership? Crispy duck was actually slimy and the hoisin sauce had a very chemical taste. Totally inedible. Much smaller portions and what was supposed to be foo yung, turned out to be omelette and chips. Need to find a new takeaway 😩

Hasn't been ordering from Lee House for a while, and only just realised its under new ownership/management. Fantastic value, enough to feed 2 adult, and just over £21 in total. 1st impression, food looks good and hot. Both Singapore Noodles and Crispy Beef are spot on, and tasted great and how they should be. 👍 Broccoli with Garlic, no sauce, not watery, lots of garlic, slightly underseasoned in my opinion, could do with more oyster sauce. But I suppose its stir fry Broccoli with garlic, so can't really complain about it, hence food is still 5 stars rating. Chicken and sweet corn soup is fine and not overpower by MSG. There is also a large bag of complimentary Prawn crackers. Overall its 5 out of 5, for that price and a small takeaway in Lancing, there is nothing to complain and all the food did get eaten 😋.

Delivery was slow, the order was wrong, the delivery lady was very rude and the food tasteless and undercooked. What a waste of money.

I have just had a delivery from Lee House it’s absolutely disgusting dry duck Luke warm ,ribs tough watered down sauce. Even the cucumber was on the dry side for the pancakes Hong chicken over cooked chicken very dry ! How can these people stay in business, and charged £32.10 so disappointed . June Hawthorne

Ordered online and delivered bang on time, lovely and hot. Chips - lovely House curry - the meat was duck skin (I think?) not very nice, curry taste wasn't brilliant BBQ ribs in sauce - lovely House Chow Mein - tasteless but plentiful. .... I mixed some of the BBQ rib sauce in to give flavour. .. there was a white/ colourless thick sauce in the chow mein and it didn't look appetizing. Overall shant order again as not best impressed. If we do will order something different, better to try another in the area!

I went in there 5 minutes ago to pick up my sweet and sour chicken balls which are lovely but the girl behind the counter was so rude. Yes you with the grey jumper on tonight. She handed me my food. I said thank you and goodbye twice and she didn’t even look up from her phone. You must only be working there because you’re family.

We've been ordering from Lee House for a while and never had an issue until this evening. Only a small order of salt and pepper prawns and special fried rice. Had a few prawns and then tipped the rice onto the plate, started eating and found 2 short black hairs in it. Phoned them to be told to bring it back for a refund. Got there, the girl then started refusing to give us a refund saying we didn't know what we were talking about when we said we had the right to get a full refund. Left with prawns as apparently management refused to refund them as we had eaten 2 of them-they refunded the rice only. Very rude girl saying We've never worked within hospitality as "the customer isn't right" when in fact we have. Non of the staff wear hair nets despite this being one of the food hygiene regulations. Never going back! Told them that, and the girl said "good, go round all the other establishments and see no one wears hair nets". Customer service is shocking!!! If you want questionable hair in your food, then this is the place for you! How they have a grade 5 for food hygiene is concerning.

I had aromatic duck with egg fried rice, the duck was very dry and not editable and so was the rice!

Normally wouldn’t complain but after emailing Lee house & not even getting reply felt I had to! Ordered couple of weeks ago a delivery one of the dishes which was supposed to be beef Szechuan turned to be just veg Szechuan & then 2 weeks later which I actually ordered in person I ordered mixed Szechuan & got home & it was some kind of omelette of which I do not eat eggs. If no response will start using Jade Gdn.

I believe this is the first time I've ever posted a review but I felt I had to as the meal was AWFUL, If I go through the list of items I had I had soggy greasy pork balls , with a strange colour meat inside , The egg fried rice look like it been warmed up in the microwave, I had a beef dish which I believed was boiled as it was anemic colour with no tast what so ever , The spare rids where missing a main content MEAT , Chow mem was jus totally greasy The only item which was OK was the seaweed A AWFUL meal

The food from this takeaway was terrible it was tasteless, greasy, slimey and the only item that eas edible was the rice. I rang the takeaway to complain and asked for them to collect it and they that the manager would ring back in two mins which she didn’t so called again and was advised that the chef said there was nothing wrong with the food and the manager would call back in ten minutes. Nearly a week later I have had no call. And all I was told in one of my calls wad if we didn’t like it then don’t order again! Terrible customer service so my advise to anyone who has a complaint about their food , don’t bother ringing them because they are not interested.

OK so my usual fave place jade Garden is having a refurb so thought I'd try this was happy when I walked in so clean and lovely people, but as for the food shocking it is hands down the worst I have ever had. 1. Chicken was so overcooked was dry chewy 2. No flavour just overkill on salt & msg 3. Noodles where pale as anything I mean usually any chow mein is great but this no way. 4. Sweet and sour sauce was sugared vinegar 5. Chips well they were just like 8 days old. 6. Rice unevenly cooked. 7. Satay was slimey sauce, no nuts as should be just a hint of flavour again salty and msg override. 8. Chicken balls must have been cooked and then microwaved just massive doughballs awful. We actually put it in the bin and didn't eat any at all after tasting a small amount vile. I don't like to leave reviews like this but I'd hate anyone else to waste their money.

Helpful on the phone. Went off and called me back to confirm food was ok for vegans. Very quick delivery. Food arrived piping hot. Nice crunchy vegetables. Very tasty. Will use again when we're in the area.

We ordered set menu B for 2 people, the food was excellent, more than enough for 2, it was very tasty and hot. If it was local to us it would be our favourite but we are on holiday. Thank you Lee House for a great service. Lancing is lucky to have you.

I My daughter and I normally enjoy a good meal from Lee House although today it was really bad. It was greasy, tasteless and the chicken balls were inedible as they were chewy and pink inside. Our meal was a complete let down. A total shame.

We ordered a set menu and 2 separate dishes for a vegetarian, the vegetarian food was vegetable spring rolls and fried vegetable balls. When it turned up the fried vegetable balls were actually chicken! I phoned and said what had happened, they took ages to look at order & eventually said they would bring out the order in 10 minutes. 40 mins later it turned up (we had all finished eating) and he wanted to take back the chicken balls!! I refused. I am so cross and disappointed, the person who is vegetarian almost ate chicken through no fault of their own.

My order was completely wrong and when I phoned to ask for the right food I was told in a very firm tone that the order was right when I went in there to complain I saw that the place is filthy.

Food over an hour late, wrong order given then took the food back and swapped it with the other people who had been given our order rather than cooking fresh so was cold when it got here. Food disgusting, no meat just vegetables despite ordering a meat dish. Staff were rude. Would never use again!

We had a takeaway for the first time from here in November, and it was really tasty. Tonight was a different story. It was horrible. Prawn crackers were tasteless. The 3 main dishes were tasteless and the meat of very poor quality. The chicken was disgusting, and I think was about 90% water. Do yourself a favour and order from the oriental express in North Lancing. We should have stayed with what we know.

Appalled with the service, ordered at 7.30 turned up 8.45, main part of meal missing , after sorting out on the main part of the meal turned up at 9.55 , the meal was a total waste as the first part was stone cold. Went back 2 days later to get a refund what a joke, total waste of time and they were rude they don't give a toss,. I shall never go back .

Not that impressed with the food. Not too bad but not great. Worked there for a while as a driver and really wasn't impressed with smoking in and the general hygiene of the kitchen.

Not impressed. Have gone to Lee House and waited for my orders in the past and they have been much better and fresher. Chicken Satay came on skewers not what was ordered......sadly disappointed. Will not be ordering for delivery in future.

My normal takeaway is shut on a Tuesday. So tried Just Eat which worked very easy. Drove down got my food everyone was very nice. My food was a slight disappointment King prawn balls and chicken balls overcooked and very dry inside. Chicken fried rice and chow mein was great. Chicken satay tasted like the chicken was cheap and rubbery,if you cook chicken quick at a high temperature it becomes rubbery so can only guess they did this. Would I go there again and recommend Lee House probably not. Just remembered got home and could smell the oil or grease through the bag.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! I want my money back!!!!! £35 spent to just be thrown in the bin!!!!! Chow mein was just disgustingly greasy had one mouthful and that was it I felt like I had just had a mouthful of oil!!!!! Chicken balls greasy and soggy but worse than that a few were way undercooked!!!! Chicken is not supposed to be pink!!!! My daughter wanted some chips which tasted completely stale like they were yesterday's just shoved in a paper bag!!!! When I ordered they stated delivery time was 18:55 they didnt turn up until 19:20 and the food was unbelievably greasy you could see it all on the paper bags!!!! I urge anyone who is.reading this to not buy from here I wouldnt even.consider trying it save your money...

I ordered the DRY shredded crispy beef and it came with sauce. I called them to explain and they disnt do anything to fix it.

Very handy when changing trains at Lancing station. Order in advance through Just Eat when passing Haywards Heath, hopp of the train, pick up in 2 mins, this is a rapid, easy dinner for a tenner. Food quality is fine but nothing special, service is usually on time and piping hot. Not too shabby.

Lemon chicken sauce was a bit bitter, didn't like the veg and peppers in chicken satay skewers apart from that all was lovely.

I am 12 weeks pregnant and was in the middle of eating and found a sharp metal object mixed in with the food. My partner phones up and got told there was nothing they could do about it and was spoken to very rudley.... Apparently there was no one to talk to I'm absolutely disgusted in the business 👎🏻

Terrible customer service. Ordered food at 18:30 for estimated delivery of 19:15, no food by 19:45, called and was told its out for delivery. Nothing by 20:05 so called again and told its be another 5 minutes. It finally arrived at 20:15 delivered by a surly female driver who had zero manners. Not impressed and food was cold...

Give unrealistic delivery times and being charged £1.50! No one minds waiting if the food is of a good standard. Unfortunately it went in the bin after a few mouthfuls!

Have used this place a few times but had to stop after having raw chicken in the sweet and sour chicken balls, I don't think they realized it was raw before sending the order out but they didn't want to know when I called to inform them about it.

well we have ordered from here many times and mostly all been ok but last time it took just over 2 hours to arrive , no word from driver to say why or apologise then off the 4 main dishes we ordered 2 were horrible , sweet sour pork balls i cut one open and meat inside was pink and shredded beef tasted worse it was all like warm pork scratchings , all fat and no taste of beef , so very dissappointed after spending lot money there

First time trying Lee House as delivery time posted at 45 minutes as opposed to my local which was 70-80 minutes. So, paid the delivery fee as Lee House is a little further away. After 1 hour 10 mins I gave them a ring to see where food was. No apology...'another 15 mins' they said. Which turned into another 30 mins. Delivery guy didn't bother to come to flat, waited outside, not very friendly. Sorry, Lee House, but you have to do better than this. Won't be back.

Good quanity of food, order at least an hour and half in advance. Took longer than estimated time. I was 5 minutes away from me cancelling my order.
