Ordered a takeaway it took over a hour to get to me won't order here again only 5 mins up the road poor service buy yourselves a nice steak cook it indoors

Having recently moved into the area, I was keen to sample one of the local Chinese takeaways. I chose Jade Garden based on Google reviews and certainly enjoyed the food, which was very high quality and good value. I’ll certainly be back to sample more from them…thank you

The Jade Garden certainly lives up to its review rating. The food was excellent delivered hot and within agreed time slot. For a take away this was the best I have had. 5 stars from me and will be ordering again

We ordered a collection order and it was delicious. Ready in 15 minutes and really hot

Decent chiense, standard portion sizes, and pricing. Delivery has always been prompt and on time. Would recommend.

We only ever always order Chinese food from Jade Garden as we love it normally. Tonight we thought instead of collecting we would have it delivered. 55 mind after ordering still no food. I rang and she said it was just being packed and would be 15minutes. I decided it would be quicker to collect so drove straight down as its not even a 5 minute drive. I was handed the food and returned straight home . Once home I took the tubs out ready to serve. I could feel straightaway the food was cold so proceeded to reheat it in the microwave. Food was tasty as ever but I would not recommend having it delivered . I will collect in future .

On Saturday I ordered through Just Eat a meal for 1 of spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. I received beef in black bean sauce and there was a hair in the rice. The spring rolls were fine. I don't like beef in black bean sauce as it is too salty. Hair in food is unacceptable. I will not be ordering from Jade Garden

Tried to order from their website, put in card details, then it got stuck on processing, so tried another card, that did the same. So then did pay with cash, then it told me order had not been successful. I now give up!

Last few times ordering here have been a vast improvement on previous orders. Although normally a tiny bit too much the salty side for my palette, they offer great value for money locally and are very fast and efficient and great to deal with, will continue to order from there in the future 🙂

Ok, so we moved to lancing in 2016. Before we moved we were looking at what people said was the best Chinese in the area and Jade Garden kept coming up so we promised ourselves we’d try it. It’s now 2023 and we finally got around to trying it, as a celebration after my partner went in for surgery. We haven’t had a Chinese for over ten years and to my absolute delight Jade Garden was fantastic! The food was all hot, they didn’t forget anything, delivery was on time, every item we had was absolutely 100% perfect! We even spoke to them on the phone about delivery as we are hard to find sometimes and they were very helpful. Me and my partner both absolutely devoured that meal last night and slipped quietly into a food coma afterwards for an hour! I highly recommend Jade Garden 10/10 oh, ordering and paying for the food before they even opened was great! We will return! Thank you!

Ordered at 4.30pm filled out on line and paid for delivery. Entered post code and chose address from drop-down menu. Email received confirming delivery at 6.00pm. Rang at 6.30 to chase they say address didn’t come through but cooked it anyway. Refused to refund insisted on delivering the food cooked at 5pm. Rude people !food cold when finally delivered

Truly unpleasant food. Not sure what the lumps were in our Chicken in yellow bean sauce but it wasn’t chicken. First time here and never again.

This was the worst ever food delivered, duck over cooked no pancakes sent with order, old cucumber and onions ( not enough for 2 pancakes) the owner was not pleased with my comments and almost argued with me, I will never ever use these again, I felt I did something wrong!! Which is so wrong, not value for money, so disappointed after it was recommended, never ever again, wasted £35 of my money, shocking.

Just had delivery from.jade garden.and it is the best Chinese I have tasted for a long time definitel y making this my regular place to go .loved it

Very disappointed! What used to cost less than £40 now costs over £50. As a regular customer was charged an extra £2.20 for cucumber & onion for duck. Ribs were over cooked/burnt. Other items not hot. Never again!

Absolutely fantastic, prawn curry, very quick service, the young lady on front counter is delightful, very friendly kitchen staff, just the right amount of spice to food, I have no hesitation in recommending. Such a refreshing difference to before lockdown, seems like a new family and a complete decor makeover. Thank you so much you are wonderful x

Best Chinese takeaway in the area by far ,tasty ,top quality food and at very reasonable prices ,service quick and reliable

This Chinese takeaway is so good I am writing another review; we had friends round in the garden from shoreham and decided to get a takeaway; our friends also said it is the best Chinese take away they have ever had it is so fresh, not greasy at all (I hate a greasy Chinese) and every dish we had was amazing; we have all had many Chinese take outs over the years and this is by far the best I won’t get another Chinese from anywhere else in West Sussex neither will they now!

This is the best Chinese takeaway we have had in years, it has new owners and the food was delicious; we thoroughly recommend you try it; the ribs, Kung po prawns, chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauces were lovely!

We called in at 9pm and when I got there 15 minutes later food was ready and lady behind the counter was very nice. The sweet and sour sauce chicken balls were amazing, the spring rolls were fresh. The Singapore noodles were to die for. Cant fault it, everything was fresh and tasty. Not greasy as i have found other Chinese takeaways.

The best Chinese Lancing has to offer recently changed hands and in my opinion the food is so much better fresher and tastier! I have tried them all in lancing and Shoreham and I really wouldn't advise it most are utterly disgusting. JADE GARDEN is definately the nicest Chinese for miles! Being a londoner I've always been spoilt for choice so know when I get a nice Chinese lol

We moved into the area a few weeks ago and tried several Chinese takeaways until we found Jade Garden really nice freshly cooked and tasty good value for money

Whilst we were staying in lancing we had a meal from here the salt and pepper prawns were nice and the chicken chow mein was delicious it was reasonably priced and frienly service

Having enjoyed takeaways from the Jade garden for years, it is with sadness I have to say the last one we had in June 2020 will be our final visit. Unsure if the business has changed hands, or they have a replacement chef, but the food quality, taste and colour was definitely not the same. Taste was insipid, sauces watery, and the bright red colour of the sweet and sour was unappetising. Very sad about it, but I am being honest!

Used to be the best Chinese takeaway around but they seem to have changed hands since the lockdown and IMHO isn’t that great anymore. The last order I had was very disappointing and I won’t be going back. Very sad that I need to find another takeaway now.

Second night camping down the road, fancied an easy meal. Took a while to prepare (not always a bad thing) and not the best s+s hk style that I have had, but it was ok and all eaten.

We shared a Chinese taking away from the Jade Garden. It was very reasonable but there was little egg in the egg fried rice and the chop suey was tasteless. The previous take away was ok so this was a disappointment.

Chicken balls were really dry, singapore chow mein was burnt and taste like burnt hair, soggy crispy chilli beef 1st order here and will be the last!

We ordered a meal for four from the Jade Garden in Lancing. We had Peking Duck plus several other dishes. The service was fast and the food was very good. Would order from here again.

Cheaper than most around lancing, but dose not effect the standard of the food, excellent service
