Forbidden Palace in Adur

Ordered a takeaway via deliveroo, at a cost of £44.09 , Prawn chow mein, pork in black bean sauce with rice, mini duck spring rolls, sesame prawn toast portion of prawn crackers. The delivery time was pretty good . The food however was disgusting. First and last time I will be having food from this place .

Please do not order from this restaurant / takeaway. I ordered from them today and ordered Thai green chicken curry along with other items. I dished up my food and went to eat this but thankfully I cut into a piece of chicken before I did as I saw that this was pink and raw. I ordered through just eat where the rating was good however wish I had checked google reviews first because clearly there are numerous issues with this restaurant but this could’ve been even worse if I had eaten anything. I just wish I hadn’t given the food back so this could be given to someone in food standards. Photos attached

I had previously enjoyed takeaways from here before, but the last time i ordered from here late May 2024 I was disgusted. Most of it went in the bin, which upset me cause I had saved up to have a take away. The rice and noodles were mushy and over cooked. The prawn toast had been left to a point that it was dark but we risked it but it tasted burnt. The garlic thai prawn meal was bland and greasy, unsalvagable. Really disappointing. No more orders from us for this establishment.

Revolting undercooked and reheated food. Stale crackers and those that weren't stale had a horrible tangy taste and smelt musty. Reheated rice, crunchy and Luke warm with a horrible tangy putrid taste. Clearly not freshly cooked. Chicken significantly over cooked , over seasoned, probably to hide issues with quality. The dish wasn't meant to have chillies in it, but had strong chilli taste. Possible cross contamination of food. Sloppy thick curry sauce that the spoon stood up in. Had akin on top showing signs of being microwaved and reduced. Clearly not fresh. Night ended with calling 999 after staff assaulted us both because the food quality is awful and we refused to pay the ludicrous bill for food we couldn't eat. Police told us to walk away as the staff shouted abuse at us and tried to drag us back into the restaurant. To the waitress: telling lies to the police wasn't clever. Especially when they could overhear what was really happening. To the manager : really !! What gives your staff the right to physically and verbally abuse a customer just because they return your disgusting food. It's now the next day, and both of us have been sick and in the toilet. So what little we did try and eat has upset us. Environment agency will be informed. Should have taken the que from the fact the place was empty and dead and there was a ping pong table being stored in the restaurant and it had no atmosphere at all. Obviously won't be going back. Also, the prices you advertise are not the prices you try and charge. That's fraud but given the other problems you have , clearly being honest is low down on your list.

Negative stars !, worse meal ever from any restaurant anywhere ! (read the just eat reviews, they have negative posts there too) Prawn crackers stale and those that weren’t state hand a strange tangy taste. The starters where pretty poor, over seasoned to hide lack of quality of food. A dish that shouldn’t have chillies in, had chillies and were over powering the taste. Whether it was a mix up or cross contamination is unknown. The main came out and re-heated under cooked barely warm crunchy rice was provided, totally inedible ! The sauce for the other dish was like when someone mixes up Bisto gravy and doesn’t put enough hot water in it. Just horrible. Suggested we would pay for our starters and wine and leave. The waitress fell over herself to apologise offering another dish but really the evening had been ruined at that point. She then presented us with a huge bill in Chinese which we obviously couldn’t read. Saying this was unacceptable, asked to speak with a manager which apparently there wasn’t one. Provided a number for her to pass on to the manager and said ask them to call and we left. Moments later on the pavement, I was assaulted by a staff member as he tried to man handle me back into the restaurant. Trying to walk away he turned more abusive. Calling 999 and trying to leave he then tried to man handle my wife assaulting her. The police instructed us to leave the scene and walk away, as we did they continued to hurl abuse at us. Clearly these people are without boundaries !, they provide substance food and when justifiably it is sent back, they then turn abusive. I would urge people to think very carefully about using this restaurant, there is a reason why its empty, its because the food is inedible. To the owner: you now know who wrote this review and have our contact number. We’re waiting for your apology, there is no excuse for your staff to physically assault us for sending back inedible food. Remember: The police were on the line at the time and could overhear what was happening so there is little excuse for your staff conduct.!

Ordered duck in orange sauce via takeaway. The duck was tough and not much of it. Spare ribs ok. Previous takeaways ok but very disappointed tonight.

Absolutely abysmal, dry,no flavour,spent over 50 quid fir 2,not even free prawn crackers

Ordered a take away via Justeat. Hands down one of the worst chinese takeaways we have ever had. My husband and i had a couple of mouthfuls each and binned it. Such a waste of money!!! My green curry did not resemble a green curry in any way. The rice was super sweet, the curry had zero flavour, it just tasted of the flour it had very clearly been thickened with. My husband just ordered noodles and it was swimming in an inch of grease. Also inedible. So angry and very hungry right now.

Hands down the best Chinese ever. Me and my boyfriend have been ordering from here for 2 years now since we found it and nothing beats it. We probably had more than 50 take aways from them. Food always early and piping hot and delicious. We tried other places and we always come back to Forbidden Palace. I can't put into words how much I love this place! Thank you guys for always providing the best food and service. You are making many people very happy ❤

The portions are very big and good for the money. I’ve only ever ordered for delivery and it has always been very fast. The main thing that’s gets me is that the chow meins are very dry which is a let down as that is my favourite. Still order here a lot though haha just don’t get your hopes too high

I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. Ordered for the first time and it is easily the best crispy chilli beef I have ever had. Was very nice to have the option of thick noodles or thin egg noodles as most Chinese don’t give you a choice. It wasn’t the cheapest however, I am happy to say it does represent value for money considering the high quality and generous portion sizes. The lady delivering my food was also very friendly.

Ordered from Just Eats.. service gets 5 star as delivery driver friendly. Prawn toast greasy, tastes of fat and veg rice tastes of nothing. Poor show. Could do much better, disappointing

We ordered a takeaway tonight. Wished I read the reviews before hand. It was horrid. Special rice was so salty and chicken curry was like it had a whole pot of pepper in it. Prawn toast was burnt and convinces it was just bread and sesame seeds. Spring roll was full of garlic and all of it was unedable. What a waste of £40. Avoid avoid avoid people

Front entrance door handle filthy dirty including the glass entrance door. This "restaurant" has only a 3 star Food hygiene rating which means they have had official warnings. 10% service charge automatically added whether you agree or not. Do not go to this over priced dirty chip shop

Collection takeaway, listed as 30min wait but ended up waiting 1h 20m. Food was fine but the wait was silly, walked in twice told be told it will be another 10min wait each time...

The food was of poor quality I'm afraid to say. The rice tasted off and the thai main dish was watery. The egg rice tasted like it had been reheated and looked brown. I wouldn't order from here again.

We have eaten here for many years. Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down hill fast. From wet chicken, in the chicken balls. To wet duck, almost like it was boil in a bag food and the bags split. The salt nd pepper ribs and prawns were burnt. But the biggest shame was the girl serving behind the counter, being bullied by the kitchen boy. To the point we saw her crying. While the girl working with her just laughing. We will know longer be eating at the forbidden Palace, or ordering there takeaways,, Massive disappointment

Food has gone downhill recently. Orders are always wrong but cost is going through the roof. Sad because they were fab for ages but not anymore. The photo below is supposed to be bean sprout chow mien but is quite obviously Singapore chow mein and was so hot I couldn’t eat it. Update: So today 16/09/22 we thought we’d give this place a seconds chance. Big mistake, order was wrong and very very greasy. Ordered special fried rice and got pork chow mein. Bye bye Forbidden palace, never again.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. Food good thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The toilets were in need of a damn good clean, always makes you wonder how clean the rest of the establishment is behind the scenes. A lovely brown dirty mop was also awaiting me when l visited the Ladies...

We went in a Monday evening and the only ones in there, so no atmosphere. However the food was good except they forgot a dish and we had to chase it. Have eaten better and worse Chinese food.

Food arrived earlier than expected, portion was incredibly generous. Red curry was amazing, fresh veg full of flavour. This was our first order and we will be ordering again.

The chow main so nice and satay chicken

The delivery wasn’t as long as I had thought from reading the reviews (after I ordered). It came in just over an hour but it was early on in the evening (I ordered at 5pm) The phad thai was not edible but the rest was ok. Not the best Chineese I’ve eaten.

This place used to be good. Over priced for the quality of food you are getting it was way too greasy dripping with fat that I could not eat it, when questioned about price it was our prices have gone up.but on further investigation I was over charged to what it is on their printed menu and website ordering wher they add 20p for bag and 50p service charge on to a collection of already over price food. I will not be returning

I ordered at 7.20 and was told food would be arriving at 9pm which is a long wait but thought I’d be ok as long as it arrived on time. Food still hadn’t arrived by 9.30 so called the restaurant who said the food was ready at 9 and they were waiting for the delivery driver who would be another 20 minutes. I said the food was likely to be cold, they said no it would be fine and hung up. The food arrived at 10.08 and the driver seemed surprised when I asked whether he expected me to save it for breakfast! I said I didn’t want the food as I was ready for bed and couldn’t eat at this time of night and sent him on his way. I ordered through deliveroo and they said they need to request a refund from the restaurant. I don’t care who gives me £32 refund just as long as someone takes responsibility for the delay in the food being delivered. What an absolutely terrible service and lack of responsibility. I wouldn’t use them again if my life depended on it. Rude on the phone and hung up on me which is no customer service at all. Goodness knows what the food was like. Don’t accept the order if you can’t fulfil the request.

OMG we've just had the most amazing takeaway from Forbidden Palace. The chicken satay was to die for. We had king prawn curry, chicken chow mien plus other stuff. The BEST Chinese takeaway away where, absolutely loved it

Firstly the food was an hour and 40 minutes late. The customer service was the worst i have ever experienced. When i asked why it was late she said she would ask but she put the phone on the side and i heard her slamming me off to her mate saying i was just moaning and left me waiting on the phone why i heard her slagging me off for just asking why my food was late. Then i asked for a refund which was refused, then an hour later, I've called 44 times. They answer and hang up and literally talk to me like dirt. Then the food turns up, so cold so rank and the driver refused to take it back said we had to call the shop. Again i called and called. They literally ended up screaming down the phone telling to F off amd other bad things. I am so shocked and disgusted. The worst experience I've ever had with a company. All for them to steal £60.50 off me. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS AWFUL CHINESE!! TGERE ARE SO MANY BETTER. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Terrible value for money, spent over £65 and no prawn crackers. Quality of food was awful! Greasy and cheap. Last meal I ever buy from there.

Very disappointed. We booked an early table for 16:15 as we had children eating but when we arrived on time the guy said 'we aren't ready for you come back in 20 mins' which wasn't a great start. We came back later as requested and noticed the price on the menu was more than the price on the website so that was another disappointment but not the end of the world. Started to order, we asked for the chicken curry to be less spicy but the boss said he couldn't do that. This suggests the curry wasn't cooked from fresh. We didn't order huge amounts, 1 rice, 2 chowmein, chicken balls, spring rolls, satay, curry and garlic chicken and chips. The portions are significantly smaller than take away so it might sound like a lot but it wasn't. It was certainly a reasonable amount for a family of 4. The children couldn't finish their chowmein so we asked for 1 box for these but we were refused. The waitress said 'my boss says if everybody takes their leftovers we would lose out' she also confirmed that it would all be thrown in the bin. We didn't understand this at all because surely nobody wants to promote throwing perfectly good food in the bin. I understand that some people do take the mickey but we definitely hadn't, it was literally 1 side plate of chowmein. I asked about 10 mins later saying 'look I've paid for this food I just want to take the chowmein for the children so I'd like one box please' but this was refused again. We had already noticed the menu said service charge would be added, I asked for our bill minus service charge as we wouldn't be paying it and the waitress said 'you have to' which was funny. She said 'the boss says it's automatically added on if you do all you can eat' I explained that service charge is optional when the service warrants it but on this occasion it did not. She said she would go and ask the boss. We then waited 20 mins for the bill which didn't have service charge but the waitress made out they had done us a favour by saying 'my boss says everyone has to pay service charge its normal and every other restaurant charges it' we paid our bill and left with 2 handfuls of chowmein wrapped up in a serviette. Won't be returning or recommending.

Chicken was rubbery, not very flavourful at all, rice was spot on, the appetisers (duck spring rolls and prawn sesame toast) were really good. Delivery was good, came earlier than expected.

Possibly the worst Chinese I've ever had but only one available on uber eats, delivery was fine food woeful, tasteless noodles, rubbery chocking, very small portion of salt and pepper chips for 4.40,abd the chicken satay main was like dishwater, will never order again

Turned up nearly 30mins after latest promised time. 19:45-20:05. Luke warm, average taste. Duck was dry, fried fish with onion and ginger had little to no fish in it and was tasteless and soggy. A lot of money for very average food. sadly wouldn’t try again

First time take away from here. Really nice, not greasy, very flavoursome. Will definitely return soon. Best Chinese we've had in the area.

Always have a good meal from Forbidden Palace. Never disappointed. The happy meals are great for kids.

Lovely food good service not too long a wait for food

Last night our food arrived for my mother’s 60th birthday celebration which I had pre ordered. It arrived at the wrong time, it was cold, the duck was over cooked and dry and already shredded- there also wasn’t a lot of it! The cucumber and spring onions were soft and wet proving they were way past best! The butterfly prawns had more breadcrumb than prawn. The prawn toast was soaked in oil. We spent an awful lot of money for quite honestly terrible food. I am so disappointed by the food and service we received. Seriously considering using another takeaway from now on.

My food was 30 mins late, then finally when it arrived I had food missing as well as a black Curly hair in the chicken chowmein which my friend pulled out her mouth. Nice. I called them twice and they were not very helpful, they did not attempt to put it right and said “I don’t know what to say” overall bad service best not to order from here.

Very rarely had a bad meal, got a chow main that smelt and tasted rather off compared to their usual standards on this occasion. Called up and got it swapped out for another Chow Main that was fantastic. I really appreciate the customer service and the solution to the issue👍

Their side dishes are very nice, but the rice can be a bit bland and undercooked. As well as that they do a divine curry sauce.

Really disappointed this evening on order for delivery told one hour. One and a quarter hrs later no food. Called Restaurant they said we were told two hours twenty. Not correct as we would not of waited that long. Said ok please cancel and refund. Bearing in mind we paid over phone they said we had to go in to get refund and now wait 48 hours to get back into account. Cannot understand the logic. Will not be using again

Horrendous service. The 17yr old boy put the phone done on us. We spent 45 pounds on this. The JUMBO spring roll is 2inchs big for that cost!!! The pad thai is just pasta with no vegetables or chicken!!!!! Absolutely disgusting. No wonder its been shut down several times and now the place appears on just eat during covid19 with hugely inflated prices for bad food!! Nearly 6 pounds for chow mein!!!!!!

i can see why this only has a 3 on the food rating and the staff hardly speak any english. It was very hard to communicate with the staff and the toilet needed a good clean . Think it mainly caters for take away ( Just eat ) but I would never use again

We tried the food here a couple of months ago and found a small black human hair in our duck- we went to other places since but returned tonight to give it another go as the food was lovely. This time we had a black human hair in our egg fried rice. This makes me worry about their hygiene levels. The food is lovely but I think we’ll go elsewhere from now on.

The drabness of simple interior and all black furniture belies the good food and service. Easy level access for sticks - if in a wheelchair there is a small doorstop on entry and the loos are very small. The seafood rice looks expensive, but it is packed with decent prawns! Good food - worth returning.

IMO the best Chinese in lancing (and there's quite a few). Great food, quality taste and friendly owners. Only ever had takeaway (you can eat in) but its always been good.

Chinese takeaway meal for 7 people on a a Saturday night. Large menu choice, good value for money, delivered hot, very tasty! Highly recommended. Food delivered within the hour as they said it would be.

We tried this restaurant on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. cheaper than other buffet/all you want restaurants in Worthing or SHoreham, this was a really good find. We went the first weekend in January so it was really quiet (although they did a roaring trade in takeaways). The food was really very good.

We had a very nice meal here on a wet Sunday Evening. It was quiet when we ate at 6:30 and the service was very attentive and food very good. We ate from the a la cart menu and didn't try the buffet which looked good value. I last ate here 10 years or so ago and it has certainly changed, and for the better.

We could not eat it; the crispy beef tasted like it was cooked in very old oil. Tasted like FISH! It made me gag, The green Thai curry had chicken soooo over cooked it was not edible. Spring onions in the Pad Thai – mushy & old. My honest opinion is the food was not fresh / reheated. Waste of £30. Had to cook some frozen fish fingers from the freezer to eat instead of this / had to chuck this take away in the bin! (Honestly (it was that bad).

On the 21th of April 2018, me and the family took my sister to a meal at the forbidden palace in Lancing and we can say it was brilliant.The food , the staff and the restaurant was brilliant.I will be going back on my mother’s birthday in may 2018 and then back again in late may 2018 for my brothers birthday and again in September for my birthday.It’s a yes and a ten out of ten from me.

Ordered take away couple days ago, singapore fried rice, it was just average, they didnt put much meat at all. The portions are ok.

Takeaway had soggy batter on prawn balls rice horrible brown colour first time I tried this takeaway would not use it again I will give them credit for coming back to collect it and refunded the money in full.

We had never been here and fancied a change of venue. We booked a good week in advanced for a table of 6 for 1900. Arrived at 1900 no table ready or reserved, so waited for them to set table.

Had great meal tonight from buffet menu - all dishes were hot in temperature - very tasty- the restaurant was very clean - staff friendly and attentive - every time we go the standard is the same -- very good - well worth a visit - good value for money

the staff are very helpful explaining what ingredients are in each dish if you want to know . I have had several sit down and take away meals from this restaurant and I have never had any complaints about the quality or quantity of the food

Bought sweet n sour chicken which was awful and ended up in the bin. There was a tiny, ugly, pieces of chicken in large doughy balls which tasted old. The duck was just slices of tough duck covered in a slimey sauce which ended up in the bin. The sweet and sour sauce was a watery vinigar, tomato sauce which again was cheap and nasty. I didn't even bother with the rice. A very disappointed meal which cost £25. Never again.

I ordered a take away for two from here yesterday evening. It was ordered very early before 6pm so we thought it would be quick. We were told about half hour wait. 45 minutes later when it still hadn't arrived we called back. No apology was given & we were simply fobbed off with the excuse there was a traffic jam!An hour & 25 minutes after the original call it still hadn't arrived. I was then called by a delivery driver saying he was lost. I asked where he was & he said he could see number 47, I explained I was 48 & therefore next door! (Surely it's not rocket science?)I looked out of my window & he was sat in his car almost outside my house so rather worrying he told me he was lost. No apology for his lateness & to top it off he then couldn't give me my change as he didn't have any because I was the first drop. Surely he should have ensured he had plenty before leaving? Fed up, I gave him more than the price that was due as he promised he would make sure he came back later to pay me the change that he owed me. Over 24 hours later & I still have not received the money I am owed.Not only did I wait an hour & a half for my food, (3 times longer than promised) I was overcharged, it arrived cold & the customer service was non existent.An awful experience that I am quite frankly disgusted with!

Went here last night for the first time. Very well priced. New clean tiled floors, new seats and newly decorated all through. The food was beautiful! Freshly cooked and presented beautifully. I will be back!

Visited Bank holiday Bright clean fresh restaurant Only couple however phone orders home delivery busy.Both decided on the buffet. Very welcoming and polite attentive staff.Good fresh food ample size portionsAll finished with coffee on the house lovely finish to our evening. Will definitely return

There was nothing wrong with the food although maybe a little too salty. After seeing the take away menu before going i was slightly disappointed by the buffet menu! Never have I ever been to a restaurant where you are left standing and not greeted and sat at a table, so left feeling awkward we sat at a table ourselves, we still weren't acknowledged until my husband caught he's eye to which he just nodded, still waiting, anyway to cut a long frustrating story short we had our starters after we were given the menu from another table!!! Its gone 2 hours and no more food!!! Just looking at dirty plates from starters....this is a small restaurant and not every table was used, same waiter was waiting tables & taking take away orders...the manager did appear from the back when we decided to leave and he agreed to us paying a percentage of the bill as still no more food arrived. Why was he not out helping a drowning waiter????? All it needs is more staff at front of house as the food that we did have was delicious. Such a shame i do hope they get this sorted as I think this could be a little gem in lancing.

we used to visit this restaurant often before it was taken over by new management. On Father's Day we thought it would be nice to go back and treat my dad to a special meal. when we arrived we were not greeted and left waiting around, not sure as to if we were assigned a seat or choose our own, the waiter then just pointed to one whilst he was at the bar so we sat there. we waiting 30 minutes before our drinks order was even taken and a further 10 for the drinks to actually arrive. the waiter kept repeating the lines 'it's manic in here, it's too busy, it's chaotic' which as a customer I really didn't want to hear and couldn't understand his issue as the restaurant only has 6 tables. he never once apologies for his lack of service instead just continued to complain to us. also I wasn't too impressed by a young boy, clearly under 17 who was at the bar dealing with alcohol which by law and guidelines is actually illegal. when our food order was actually taken (by this point we must of been there for an hour) we asked for all the food to be brought out together - my mother and me had ordered a few starters as our main and my father ordered a main, so we wanted to be clear it was to be brought out together as to not be sat there eating whilst my father waited. but clearly this was not heard because my starter came out by itself, so I had to eat In front of my hungry parents as so it didn't get cold. by the time I had finished still no ones else's orders had came and we were an hour and a half into our visit and becoming quite frustrated with the service (or lack of!) then the duck finally arrived - but with no sauce or pancakes and my father was still waiting. we were told there would be a further wait for the pancakes and sauce that accompanied the duck. By this point we were rather angry and annoyed and pretty fed up of hearing the waiters constant complaining. so we walked out. I have never ever had to walk out of a restaurant before, but I refused to put my parents through that horrid experience. we went home and ordered a Chinese instead that arrived all together & hot in 20 minutes. the Decor inside was well done & the food that did come out was delicious! but the service really lets it down - a waiter that can not wait 6 tables, keep his complaints to himself or offer any customer service. I would probably order a take away from here, but I very highly doubt I would ever eat in again.

Well where do I start with this visit, myself wife daughters and son in law went here for fathers day. We arrived at 1820 waited 30 minutes before we ordered starters waited another 30 minutes for the starters to arrive had to ask for cuterly plates and napkins, plates where stone cold when they arrived which made the food turn cold immediately. Finished the starters and waited another 30 minutes before we could order mains, we sat at our table with all the left overs from starters for a further 30 minutes before we got up paid for the drinks and left. The waiter continually complained how busy he was, he never apologised once for the poor service, we had to share menus with adjacent tables and he even came to us and took our empty glasses and said he needed to wash them up because they where running out of glasses. Two good things I can say about the restaurant is when the food did come it was beautiful and the new owners have done a fantastic job of the refurbishment. Just a shame the service was so poor.

At long last this restaurant has reopened under new ownership with a modern , smart interior and great menu. Ate there for the first time tonight and although the service was a little slow, it was really tasty and freshly cooked to order . There is an 'eat all you want' option at £16.90 pp or a la carte menu. We had a meal for two which was more than adequate and very scrumptious . The take away side of the business seemed very busy so people are already discovering its potential.

This is a hidden gem within walking distance of Empire Club! Ate so much after last visit nearly thru up on pavement! Amazing!!!

Best Chinese ever. Really reasonable, lots of choice. We regularly try different dishes from here and we've never been disappointed. By far the best takeaway in lancing.

A bit late, but didn't realise my previously typed review was rejected. Here is a reworded attempt.Large group on New Years Eve, before heading to the local for a party. I must say, I always used to use the Forbidden Palace - even in its previous name of Lucky Dragon and previously it was always really good and superb value for money.On this occasion, I was extremely disappointed. Firstly, when we arrived the waitress has no idea that we were coming - although my Mother had booked in advance, with such a large group the need was to book and even when it was though we had caused an inconvenience. There was only 1 table of 3 ladies in there and all the time we were in there, only 1 other table of 3 came in.The food took ages and I mean ages to come out, but that's fine as long as its fresh.Now the point that really disappointed me, everyone in the group went for the 'all you can eat' except my 2 children, I mean my wife only eats Sweet n Sour Chicken and rice, but I accepted that she would also have to pay for the all you can eat and that's fair enough. I had my 2 small children - 9 and 4 years old, neither wanted the Chinese food so opted for a bowl of chips each for the time being. The waitress tried to then charge FULL prices for the children when they had not eaten ANYTHING except a bowl of chips. Those who ate the food, commented that it was decent quality and tasted nice.They then argued with my Auntie, when she asked if she could take food home for her husband who was working on a late shift, bear in mind this was food we had been charged for. NO was the answer and was told would have to order new food to take home - seriously!!!Don't know what's happened, this used to be a good, friendly and reasonably priced restaurant. I feel kind of sad to think I wont go there anymore. You go somewhere for the food AND the service/experience. I really hope feedback is taken on board from this and other reviews on here and this business can thrive.

Sorry guys but the chicken Pad Thai tasted like just plain noodles, with a hint of ginger and defrosted chicken, nothing like Pad Thai should. I ordered vegetable Dumplings, I am not sure what they were but they were a watery, stodgy, disgusting mess. The prawn crackers were too hard, and the egg fried rice was rejected by my son, and I tried it, and it really was nothing special. Never order here.

We normally have takeaway from this restaurant, the first few times was great, really tasty and fresh, now days is just regular... we went there for my birthday and was just hiddious! Not just for the atmosphere, deco of the place, but mainly for the food, the prawn crackers were stinking of old oil, they were even yellow not white, our starter (butterfly king prawns) was clearly reheated from microwave, or mains where dry, the taste was awful, just not fresh at all! The waiter was great, apologize and was very kind friendly, obviously is not is fault that the chef thinks that he can give old food to customers and they will not notice the difference! I worked in a restaurant over 7 years i do know the difference! And is very sad they just think it's fine to cook in oil that's probably a month old, when it should be changed nearly every day! No never again im affraid!
