I was genuinely shocked by the poor level of service I received at this establishment. As a solo female walking the full 187 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, I rely on the limited facilities available along the way—not just for comfort, but for safety. I stopped here hoping for a bit of rest and refreshment. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans, along with a coffee that, unfortunately, was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Still, I didn’t complain—until I politely asked if I could charge my phone. Both women behind the counter immediately said no, claiming that phones had previously caused electrical issues by "tripping" the system. I’m sorry, but this simply doesn't add up. I work across the country setting up concessions at major music festivals, and I specialise in power management. This type of business would almost certainly have a 3-phase power supply, likely with a 32-amp capacity at minimum. A mobile phone charger drawing less than 10 watts is not going to trip a properly functioning system—unless there is an underlying fault, in which case, the circuit breaker can be reset safely. Even more concerning, I later read reviews from other customers who were given entirely different excuses when they too asked to charge a device. This inconsistency suggests the refusal is policy or preference, not a genuine issue. Charging a phone costs less than a penny and can be the difference between someone having access to help or not, especially in remote areas. Hospitality is more than just handing over food for money—it’s about providing care and support to those you serve. Sadly, this was lacking here. When I mentioned this at Celtic Camping and later in Fishguard, other local businesses were equally surprised and disappointed to hear about the experience. It was quite clear that the staff were not familiar with the needs of walkers and, frankly, their attitude was dismissive and unkind. They should reflect on the values of true hospitality and consider how small gestures can make a significant difference to someone’s safety and wellbeing.

The wild cafe is lovely for kids with the music and scenery around etc and tv cwtch to keep them entertained, menu short for Lunch usual basic stuff- nice food tho and huge portions! Jacket potatoes always taste old tho as If they’ve been standing or reheated.. morning staff weren’t keen on offering a breakfast said if was closed but online it said until 10.30 maybe it hadn’t been updated online but the boys behind the bar just seemed like they couldn’t be asked so we left it, a nice woman tried to offer us a alternative but it had already put me off at the fact they couldn’t be asked

The atmosphere was unpleasant with loud, drunk customers, the bar man was inattentive and uninterested in serving us. The beer (Gower Gold) was off and neither female toilets had a usable locks. The landlord didn't seem to care when I spoke to him, no apology. I will not go back and would not recommend it to others, no redeeming qualities.

We had to quickly pop in here as our daughter needed the loo. We stayed for some gf vegan friendly chips that were really good and thick cut. They had a wide verity of non alcoholic drinks and a vegan curry on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful, we will definitely be going back

Wonderful experience! Service was amazing from Bethan Williams, very warm-hearted & approachable individual who is always very polite and professional in our interactions. Food was very enjoyable, had the fish and chips which were well-cooked & tasty! Overall a great place to eat!

Brilliant two night stay! So from the moment we arrived we were blown away by how picturesque it was! Literally in the middle of no where surrounded by sheep which is perfect for us. We got a free upgrade on our room too which was perfect, the room was really clean and comfy beds and lovely view too! Not to forget the spa which was sooo relaxing and just perfect again really good value to say you get to use the spa facilities too in your stay. The only two things letting this stay down is we had REALLY noisy neighbours from upstairs playing loud music till 11 but we did phone reception and complained as it was annoying after a while and we wouldn’t hear the tv! It did quieten down but not much and you could hear every single footstep they made. Also the food is really really overpriced I mean £20 for burger and chips or fish and chips is ridiculous! We just did a just eat order to the hotel in the end. Apart from that it was a lovely stay and would come again. Apologies for the lack of pictures we took mainly videos of our room

Low rated review - because of the slow service, 1 hour 15 minutes for us to get breakfast today!!! Mental! Kids starving playing up! Not offered an extra drink … won’t be returning. Restaurant is lovely and food is good, but no food is worth a hour and 15 minutes wait! Terrible!! Was it worth me paying over £50 for breakfast? Hell no!!!!

We let our 13 year old son choose where to eat and he chose the Coach because they had a calamari starter. Turned out to be a good call. A traditional styled pub that does traditional pub food but does it very well. With some Thai options on the menu too. We were a bit unsure at first. It wasn't really what we expected and had a bit of Tenby 'weighting' on the price but the fish that came with the fish and chips was particularly tasty.
