This is not posh nosh.... this is good hearty food, freshly prepared and served in good sized portions with an extra serving of friendly staff and family owners who made us feel so welcome. My jacket potato was enormous and quite possibly the best I've ever tasted.....light and creamy potato, perfectly cooked with the skin done to perfection. ...I have potato envy now because I can't even find potatoes that size in the shops let alone cook them like that. Hubby's beef curry was properly homemade and the meat was melt in the mouth. It's licensed and supports the local micro brewery by selling their beer.

We went yesterday to The Old Pharmacy. We had booked a table and ordered crab sandwiches.Well we were not disappointed. The sandwiches were delicious and the tea was proper leaf tea.The young lady that owns the business was delightful after what must have been a difficult year for her business. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely go again to support local enterprise.

Had a very pleasant afternoon in the sandpiper recently. Took the kids into play and a lovely lady called Jane served us. A very pleasant lady and was very attentive and helpful. Food was ok .. the place does need a serious revamp though. Stuck in the 90's😀..

We arrived by 6pm on a Sunday evening. I think the 7 minutes wait by the door to be seated was because the Sunday Lunch finishes at 6pm. However, the service and food from thereon was great. I had the Smothered Platter. What a bargain for £14.39! It included crispy chicken goujons with cheese & bacon, gammom steak with pineapple & cheese, 4oz rump steak with a fried egg served with skin-on chips, onion rings, coleslaw & smoky BBQ sauce. I prefered this to the mixed grill. I also had a perfect pint of Guinness for £4.45. We ordered by the bar. Remember your table number. The food soon came. My wife had a sirloin steak with salad. A perfect steak and plenty of salad, but could be a more interesting salad in her opinion. Friendly staff. Decent prices. We will visit here again soon. Plenty of parking spaces. Remember to register your reg number on the way in.

Awful . Food cold , it was on the pass for 20 minutes before arriving . When we complained that the food was cold , the staff member was disinterested. Food was taken back to reheat . Rest of our visit felt uncomfortable as we were glared on by staff . Couple of staff were nice may i add

Went with family for a Sunday lunch. I was disappointed with the food, which just wasn't that nice. Meat was very overcooked and dry. Personal preference perhaps, but it's an expensive roast and just wasn't done very well. We had a dirty glass with someone else's lipstick on it, and grumpy inattentive service. To be fair, a second server took over half way through our meal and was much more friendly... and dessert was very good - but I was just pretty unimpressed with our time here.

We called in for Sunday lunch today, after booking the night before. Nothing was too much trouble, we were given a lovely table by the fire. Kath and Ethan were welcoming and very accommodating. The choice was between Beef or Pork for the meats and we all opted for Pork, which was cooked to perfection. We all received an individual portion of veg which is a lovely touch as you don’t have to share!! The roast potatoes here are infamous and are absolutely incredible! How they make them so crispy I don’t know but they’re outstanding! Too full for pudding unfortunately but will have to come back and have one once this winter weight is shifted!

The staff are always very pleasant and service is good. I recently had the bacon and Brie toastie priced at £9.99. The toastie had Brie inside but the bacon was just bacon bits sprinkled on the top. No salad, crisps or chips on the side. Poor value for money, you can find much better elsewhere in Pembrokeshire so I won’t be returning for food again.
