Visited the Spinnaker Café at Milford Haven Marina with my wife today. Took a chance as it seemed to be the place many local people were using. Great choice. Fantastic value for money, excellent food with huge portions. Really friendly staff, very clean, especially the toilets. Food was all freshly cooked, no reheating here. Many years since I have experienced enjoying 2 full main meals, including hot drinks for less than £15. Well done to the team there. We shall definitely be returning.

Having been here for take away chips some months ago, which was fantastic, we decided to return this week. Ordered 4 portions of chips which weighed in at £12. Had to wait over 25 minutes. Unfortunately the portions were tiny, on a par with a small child’s portion. Shocking for £3 and an unacceptable 25 minute wait for them too. Don’t think we shall be revisiting.

We had walked past this place many times and decided to go once covid restrictions eased. We were not disappointed at all. The food was lovely, plenty of good gravey on the pie and chips and a good slab of lasagna too. The cakes to finish the meal were excellent, I loved the ginger biscuits in the rocky road, a nice twist. We will be back soon, this time to sample the breakfasts

The reason I gave 1 star is because 0 stars is unavailable. Came here during the sit outside period and it was OK, it was welcoming but food was sub standard. Came back today to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately it was yet again very poor. Beans were cold, tomatoes were cold and toast looked like it come from crematorium. Expensive lesson learned.

Whilst we were not alowed to use the inside of the premises there was plenty of outside seating with excellent views of the award winning marina. The tables were placed well away from each other to ensure that they were all Covid-19 complinant. The ordering experince was very easy and pleasant as was the serice. Went down to Milford as visiting nearby to get something to eat, decided on the Spinnaker(first visit) as seemed to be popular compared other establishments that were open, ordered a Admirals breakfast and a double bacon cheeseburger with salad and chips, I’m not a fan of tinned tomatoes with a cooked breakfast so I will always ask if I can have fresh tomato instead(surprisingly a lot of establishments will not do this even if they use fresh tomatoes) so it it’s always good when a establishment will accommodate and today was no problem at all at the Spinnaker. There was a little wait for meals to arrive but they were cooked to order and there were a few people in there at the time, the prices were a little higher than I would normally expect to pay however I put that down to the location but having said that when the meals arrived they were good sized portions very plentiful, food was hot and tasty and the chips were homemade. So all in all, good food, clean and tidy, very pleasant staff.

Most often you find that the restaurants and cafes in redeveloped dockside areas are all of the trendy continental or American variety, and are all pretty much the same. How refreshing therefore find this splendid example of a traditional British cafe serving good, honest food at very reasonable prices. Add fast and friendly service and you couldn’t ask for much more.

My family and I visited from the USA and we ate breakfast here twice. The fried breakfast is excellent with a good variety of British staples and very generous portions plus an excellent mug of tea and all very reasonably priced. However, what we found we enjoyed most about this cafe were the staff, probably the friendliest people in Wales, fast and efficient too! They even took a break from slicing black sausage to give my kids an impromptu lesson in Welsh and made everything all the more memorable. We would definitely come back here if we find ourselves in Milford Haven again.

I went to the Spinnaker cafe with a few family members and I ordered a Jacket Potato. My food came out about 5 minutes after everyone else's did, which was annoying because I was very hungry. However it was worth the wait because the Jacket Potato was delicious. The waitress brought out the drinks just after our food came out which was also quite frustrating because I was quite thirsty. But the staff were quite friendly and the food was tasty and it had a lovely view over the marina. This isn't the best cafe, but equally, it isn't the worst.

We moored at the marina and there was a choice of cafe's, we opted for this particular café ordering milkshakes, as we were a party of three we moved a chair from another table to sit in the sun. The milkshakes were uninspiring as were obviously made with nesquick, why not with the array of ice-creams. finishing my drink, I stood up to view some fish in the marina, when one of the staff brusquely moved my chair back to its original place before my partner and son had finished their drinks, the other waitress gave me a sympathetic look. We decided then to breakfast at the other café the crows nest, where they believed in courtesy and also made the most excellent 'real' ice cream milkshakes.

The whole thing was piping hot and fresh. The home made chips were also exceptional. There was a choice of home made apple pie or crumble, a huge selection of ice cream flavours and lots of home made cake. The food is always good but what sets the Spinnaker apart is its friendly family atmosphere. They were like one big family. The young girls seemed very happy, they were always smiling even though it was very busy each time we went. There was obviously a good relationship between the young ladies and the older ones. For a small cafe the menu has a good choice and is good value for money. I will shortly be returning again.

When so many youngsters seem surly and resentful even when supposedly "serving" the smiling young girls are a very pleasant change. There is clearly a good relationship between management and the young staff and it shows in their cheerful banter and the happy atmosphere. The food is good - lovely home made soup, chips and cake and the portion sizes are very generous. Decided to go here as it looked very popular. I can only think that they were first timers too. Went in and asked if we could sit inside for food and was told yes take a seat. There were no menu's on the table so a lovely lady gave us menu's and went straight back behind the counter. No mention of whether it was waitress service or counter service. So chose our meals and noticed that a card on the table said "see our board for specials". I could see no board! It also informed you that you had to go to the counter to order. Well this would have been fine if there were any staff there. 2 were having lunch, 1 was "out the back having a cigarette" and the other one was no where to be seen! Our table was dirty when we sat down and nobody came to wipe it clean. There were tables outside that were left with dirty dishes on the whole time we were there.Waitress came out with food, plonked it on the table and walked away. No cutlery was given, so I went to the counter to ask and there it was in a tray so I helped myself. Nobody mentioned that you needed to get your own cutlery. Food was ok, chips were very nice and thats about it. But basically this is a greasy spoon joint. I must say I was really disappointed. The nice lady (whom I assume is the owner) seemed very nice but she needs to whip her staff into shape. They were to busy gossiping to be attentive to the customers. Eye contact and a smile goes a really long way and it would have been nice to be told that it was counter service and that we had to get our own cutlery when we first sat down, not left sitting at our table wondering what was going on.It spoilt a really lovely afternoon walking around the marina.

Picture it: a cold Monday morning, an icy wind howling across Milford Haven Marina, an hour to kill whilst wife at an appointment - I was looking forward to a bacon and egg bap with a mug of black coffee. I had this here a week ago and it was excellent - but then I was one of only two customers. Today the coffee came, I waited...no bap. By the time I realised they must have forgotten, it was too late, and my coffee was cold. I gave up and left. The lady who had taken my order apologised - sort of. I can't rate the food on this occasion because it never arrived. The problem today, I think, was that there were more customers than staff (4 to 3), and the lady who took my order did so in the middle of a conversation with the previous customer, which then continued, obviously driving all thought of my order out of her mind. There are at least two other cafes in the row. Go to one of those.

Went here for a late lunch and it was very busy but soon emptied out after a short while. The lady very friendly and found us an extra seat. Ordered a couple of baguettes and a jacket potato. The jacket potato was a good choice and came with a large salad. The baguette was pretty uninspiring with a few pringle equivilents on the side, pretty bland. Had a pot of tea for one and two filter coffee's, thought the coffee was very weak. One area I think needs attention is the toilet. It was okay for us as we are able bodied, but if any disabled person needed to use it, it would have been almost impossible, bistro tables and other bits stored in the toilet, not good at all and surely a health and safety issue.

No style no finesse such a shame when the venue is really quite special 35 mins wait for 1st course to arrive No bread, no crudités Terribly mediocre food No condiments No table cloths, table left dirty No glasses cleared away 2 courses both had components missing had to tell waitress That lot cost around 130.00

Nice caravan park in an ideal location, near to Tenby's beaches and the town. I'd definitely stay here again.

The Contented Sole, Narberth. I’ve never, ever had as much batter on fish in a chip shop before. It was about 1/2 inch thick and slimmie. The fish itself was ok. The chips were ok. Not great, just ok. Look at how much batter was left at the end and I eat some!
