Went in for breakfast this morning, it was busy being a bank holiday weekend, but we were served straight away and found a table. We hate when your drink is cold before breakfast arrives, but here service was excellent and we saw our food prepared very quickly to follow our drinks. The food was excellent and I recommend the egg & bacon baguette. There are so many cafes with up to 5 people behind the counter faffing and falling over each other whilst taking forever. Not here. Couldn't fault it and will be back thanks.

Looking into the kitchen I noticed an over flowing food waste bin that was sat on top of kitchen work station positioned right next to the cooker along with an open tin of beans for consumption and bacon that was also being cooked for consumption. A spillage had occurred on the floor in which a member of staff who was running tables threw paper towel down and mopped it up using her foot! No cleaning liquids used, no washing of hands, there is no practise of COSHH! I wanted to know their food rating and as it happens they had deliberately hidden their rating from view as shown in picture. Since they had seen me take this picture the next day they had removed the rated sticker away completely. As for the food (full breakfast), it was below average and the coffee tasted burnt! This place needs to be closed for for re training in food hygiene.

This is the only cafe we found in Narbeth. However it served us well. Friendly and efficient staff with a decent menu. The building was in poor repair but customers were informed that the business was relocating soon. Considering the number of independent shops on the High Street I would have expected there to be more coffee houses.

We visited this coffee shop after a detour on our way home from tenby. The food was ok, although my chicken tikka was very heavy on the sauce and the jacket potato seemed to have been done in the microwave. My wife’s flat white was nice and she also enjoyed her panini. The decor upstairs is very dated and lots of condensation. On the plus side , the service was quick.

Called here on a recent visit, wish I hadn’t, ordered toast and jam and full English breakfast, when the toast and jam came the one lot was a black as black, we returned the toast and said this was unacceptable and we wouldn’t bother with the toast , when few minutes later a lady came plonked the toast in front of me and said that’s how the toast is, we have only 1 setting, very rude lady and definitely won’t be returning again, or recommending this coffee shop. No customer service at all, left us feeling angry buy her attitude. Plus very expensive for what we had.

Walked into Lillies to non welcoming staff members and not fully shown to a menu - just told that the menu was 'over there' pointing to a very small board which contained non vegan friendly food and no specials. When asked if they had vegan options the women behind the desk made sour faces which was extremely rude and could only offer a plain jacket potato and salad which 1) I can't eat potato and 2) I find extremely boring and inconsiderate to people who have dietary requirements and in my opinion, it's 2020, every cafe/restaurant should be able to properly cater for vegans by now. The place was extremely small so there was no social distancing in place in there and it was overall very dated. Would not recommend this place at all. We went to The Angel instead and had extremely pleasant service and very, very delicious vegan food. They are only across the road from each other but obviously worlds apart!.

So much mayonnaise. I mean, I did order the 'Mustard, Mayo & Chicken Baguette' so maybe I should have expected three heaped dessert spoons of cheap catering mayonniase and 4 large tables spoons of mustard lumped into one of those long-life part-baked baguettes that hadn't received part two of it's baking. Watched as the part-baked baguette was taken from the box, sliced open and loaded like a canon with so much mayo it made me feel queasy. The menu said it came with coleslaw which didn't arrive, I just remembered that, I should have said something. The salad was limp iceburg with a few token bits of cucumber. At £5.95 I expect more. The girl working in there dumped it on the table and left, we said thank you, she said nothing. I don't know, maybe we just went on a bad day as there are plenty of positive reviews. I think this cafe does well because it's opposite the car park. Suggest exploring Narbeth for something better unless of course you like 8 kilos of mayo in your uncooked baguette then this is the place for you.

we visited here for the first time. The staff were pleasant, but didn't chat to us or other customers who visited during our time there. We saw on their sign that they did afternoon teas. However when we asked they said it was cream teas (tea, scone, cream and jam). We ordered 2 cream teas, when it arrived, it was not the presentation we had expected, They gave us two teas, and normal plate with the scone, jam and cream on it. Nothing fancy at all. The scone was warmed up, but very bland in taste, and jam was just jelly and not fruity that you would expect. Cream was ok, but not much creamy texture. The toilets are upstairs, so maybe not suitable for the less mobile. A bit drab in decor. There are a lot of tables in the downstairs, and some window seating areas, but very low tables, and chairs so again may not be suitable for disability customers, as too may be a problem for pushchairs to be accommodating with the closeness of the tables. We will visit again and see if this was an 'off day' for the staff and quality of food has improved. our experience was not good, so hopefully next time will be better.

The panini were nice although quite plain tasting. The coronation chicken was a bit watery. The kids loved their hot chocolate. Our meal came to £30 which we thought was very over priced for the quality and the surroundings. We thought everywhere needed freshening up and modernising. The toilet was clean but not very nice. Overall, it did the job for us but we wouldn't go again.

We've been to this café on many previous occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it. However it has really let itself go since our last visit. The floor downstairs needs replacing and the upstairs and toilet area badly need redecorating. We ordered 4 drinks and some cakes and when only 3 drinks came we asked for the missing apple juice to be told quite rudely by the waitress that we hadn't asked for any. We certainly did ask for it and they have obviously never heard of keeping the customer happy.I think it might be a different owner since the last time we visited and you could really see a difference. What was once a nice, clean and cosy café has really let itself go. We won't be visiting again.

First cafe we came to on a visit to narberth, so thought we'd try it out. We were the only people in there as before 9am, had 2 full English, a cheese panini and a sausage sandwich and a hot chocolate, all for £20 so good value. Food was fine and cafe had a pleasant feel to it. Staff weren't very friendly but weren't rude. Would probably visit other cafes in area to try them out next time.

We spent £14.50 on a cooked breakfast, a hot chocolate and a panini. A bit pricey but we were looking forward to a good feed.Oh dear. Hot chocolate was good, from then on it was downhill. The breakfast was modest in size with 2 pieces of toast (= 1 slice bread). The ingredients were poor quality, and the free coffee which came with it was watery and tasted like an instant. The panini was also cheap with tasteless cheese.Round the whole thing off with staff who didn't appear to want our custom, and there's your 1/5 score.

Popped in for a coffee - lots of staff behind the counter - none really wanting to engage with me to take my order. I sat outside and my coffee was brought to me- most of it in the saucer- weak and tasteless. Popped in to use the loo- it's grubby, dirty and unkempt. I will not be visiting again and felt relieved it was only coffee I had.

We called in for coffee and cake. Duly ordered, the food and drinks were brought quickly to us. Unfortunately, the coffee was the weakest and flavourless beverage I have tasted for years. My wife took hers back and asked for a stronger cup, there was no quibble, but the replacement coffee was a bad as the first. Cakes okay though.

We popped into this cafe as it was the first one on the main road, opposite the car park. It looked nice from the outside. Seats available up and downstairs, nobody spoke to us when we went in, so we grabbed a seat upstairs, after a while, no-one had taken our order so we went downstairs and ordered at the counter. I liked - The food - it was hot and freshly prepared Jackets were large and crispy. Jacket potato and 'Panini' came to over £11.00, seemed a little pricey in comparison with other eateries in Narberth.- Plenty of newspapers to read.I didn't like; - The 'panini' being french bread ...not a panini .- The attitude of the server who was clearly cross because we didn't need a drink with our meals, having just had one elsewhere.- The fact no-one bothered to reply when we said goodbye.

Stopped for a hot chocolate with my nieces while in the town. Cute interior, quite small but it does say there's more seating upstairs. Charged 50p for small apple juice for 5 year old instead of the £1.40 on the menu, and wasn't charged extra for cream and marshmallows on the small hot chocolate for my other niece, so was pleased with the price. Only thing to mention was not a very big selection of cakes, and it was quite cold inside.

Looks a nice little cafe from the exterior. Unfortunately, this doesn't extend to the interior. The inside lacks the warmth and cosy feel you would expect from a Cafe'/Coffee Shop. I ordered a full English breakfast and a regular Coffee. The staff appeared friendly and the service was quick, but then I was the only person in the Cafe' at the time. The breakfast itself wasn't up to the standard or size of Breakfasts in other Cafe's which can be found in Narberth, and the Regular Coffee tasted quite bland. Lillie's Coffee Shop has the potential to be a really nice place to have a drink and a bite to eat. It just needs some tweaking.

Valentines Eve Dinner Breakfast 'stuff' left out on the side tables No atmosphere what so ever and no mention of valentines day bar the cheap printed menu Grunge style waitresses with unkempt hair and seriously downtime outfits totally inappropriate for this kind of place. No style no finesse such a shame when the venue is really quite special 35 mins wait for 1st course to arrive No bread, no crudités Terribly mediocre food No condiments No table cloths, table left dirty No glasses cleared away 2 courses both had components missing had to tell waitress That lot cost around 130.00

A good place for a meal. Arriving at 6.15pm one Sunday without a booking, we were made welcome and our meal, a curry and a salad, arrived promptly. Very acceptable and good quality. We would return very happily.

Last two times, batter so thick, it was uncooked inside, so couldn't eat the fish. Such a waste!
