Wouldn’t recommend. Tea tasted of chemicals. Not very accommodating asked to move table as couldn’t see for sunshine and no blinds and they weren’t helpful. Breakfast nothing special for the money. I’ve certainly had better. Turning customers away when tables are empty. Slow service

Absolutely fabulous. Fantastic service. Clean rooms. Very well presented. You can feel like, Lord of the manor. Friendly helpful host. 5 minutes from Pendine Sands. Best value so far . 1200 miles.

This was a great spot for lunch! We stopped off on spec and I was pleased to see vegan options. I had the vegan burger which was lovely. My parents had the chicken burger and the gammon, and they were equally pleased with the food, the portions and the service. I also had a vegan crumble tart with custard which was delicious! Overall a very pleasant experience, although prices were a little on the high side.

Myself and my partner attended as a walk in for breakfast, we were shown to pur table by a very pleasant lady on reception, we were then attended to by a very cheery pleasant male waiter, who gave us clean menus, took our orders and then served our food, we both had full English breakfasts, due to my husbands dietary requirements, we had to remove some items from the breakfast (we do this alot it's not place specific) and as a result the waiter offered us extras of the other items on the plate to make up of the items my husband doesn't like, I'm very pleased with how spectacular the food tasted, and how it was presented. Thank you.

This is a very pleasant pub with great food. We always make a point of visiting when we are staying on the Gower. Staff are always pleasant and helpful and on this occasion we were looked after very well by Matilda. The mocktails were great fun and made up for not being able to have a drink when driving. Food is well -cooked with good options. Excellent choices for vegetarians, vegans and GF as well

I decided to pop in to Y Sied for lunch. Until then I had only ever visited there for coffee and maybe a cake - which are always scrummy. Today I had the gorgeous Bacon Maple pancakes. Just the right size for my lunch.

We stayed here for a wedding weekend. Accommodation wasn't great, needs updating. No staff around, the cook was extremely rude and confrontational. Overall was really disappointed.

This place breaches defies the basic laws of hygiene. Cross contaminated cheese sandwich, had flakes of ham in it. The order being; a cheese sandwich for my vegetarian niece. In what universe is that acceptable? The staff, although very young, tried their best, but there was an older man who was constantly watching and fussing (but not helping) whilst talking to a couple of cronies. Furthermore, instead of making people nervous, why is he allowing his staff to wear long hair down and jewelry, when it is clearly stated against the basic hygiene rules. Where is the department of health and safety when you need them? The coffee, to put it bluntly is revolting, if I had the energy j would have complained, but, I felt sorry for the overworked and clearly underpaid and unhappy young staff. It's not their fault, it's the owners. He should be ashamed of himself, exploitation is alive and well. I strongly recommend he gets his act together because his lack of care, hygiene and substandard ingredients will be his downfall.

Stopped off here for lunch with my elderly mum and was pleasantly surprised. Whilst the seating was adequate the staff were very friendly and cleared vacated tables promptly. The drinks and food menu’s had plenty of choice and I decided to have the jacket potato with chicken curry which came with a salad garnish. The portion was great and the chicken curry was delicious…mum had a toasted sandwich which came with a small salad, coleslaw and some crisps. Both very reasonably priced and would not hesitate to recommend if you are looking for a lunch time bite. We will return.

I visited the chip shop over the weekend after visiting friends in Milford Haven I can honestly assume that they are recently under new management because the £20 fish and chips for 2 was a culinary disaster .. The chips were under cooked and dripping in fat and upon opening they were stuck together in a congealed mass .. frankly inedible in my opinion … To further frustrate matter the telephone number assigned to the shop simply rings and rings thus complaints and resolution are impossible ( I suppose this may be connected to a previous management) I personally would steer clear and my award goes to them for the worst fish and chips I have ever purchased

We had the Sunday lunch. The chicken was ready for immediate consumption but the veg took 20 minutes to cook 🤷‍♀️ We also had beef which was reformed. The veg were in foil trays and had to be reheated. Totally tasteless. Later we thought we would try the fish and chips. (We were staying locally.) The chips were soggy, as if they had been left over and re fried in not hot enough old oil. The fish was grey and chewy. Horrible.

I was excited to try the kiosk after visiting the area on holiday. Sadly it didn’t live up to expectations. The server was neither welcoming nor friendly. The sandwiches I ordered were due to come with coleslaw and a side salad. But when I opened the box neither were inside. I’m not very assertive so it took a lot for me to go back in and explain to the server. He said he’d run out of coleslaw but could do a side salad. No apology or hadn’t mentioned this when I placed my order. I wouldn’t have bothered paying over £16 for just two sandwiches. Sadly I didn’t have the confidence to ask for my money back as my anxiety got the better of me, so walked away. The sandwiches were tasty and the bread fresh, but we won’t be going back I’m afraid. Really disappointed. Everywhere else we’ve been had been so friendly with good customer service.

We visited Cathedral House a few times during our recent stay in St Davids. The cakes and pastries are fresh and tasty and the citrus cake deserves a special mention. There's also a good range of hot and cold drinks. This is a great place for lunch and afterwards it's definitely worth spending some time looking around the shop for things to take away.
