Visited recently booked a table for 3 of us we were served by a lovely chap who gave us our drinks while we chose our meals we had the butterfly chicken fabulous 👌 choice of cajan or lemon & garlic both delicious served with a great salad chips or jacket potato lovely generous portions. Staff were very attentive asking if we needed anything, the only downside was and completely NOT their fault a group of load mouthed people kept constantly swearing & getting louder with no respect for any of the guests that were dining . I think we all felt the same not to approach these idiots ignore and they will go away our theory was right they didn't get any attention and thankfully left ! It hasn't put us off we will be back swanlake keep up the good work 👍

Super little pub in a small village. Basic food menu but hearty and hot. Really friendly bar staff and friendly locals also. Had a great time watching the football and rugby there. Barman was a great laugh and willing to have a chat, in fact seemed to enjoy it. Closes for food early on Sunday so don’t go for evening meal. Only one thing I would change about this place and that is the toilets (see picture). Everything else is lovely and welcoming. Surely a toilet seat isn’t too much to ask?

Called in at this quiant treasure today. Shame thing was we didn't find it sooner. What an amazing pub. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The bruchetta was delicious and one of the best we've tasted. Mum and I had the gammon what a feast for the mouth that was. Very flavourful and melted in the mouth. The coleslaw was incredible far better that we have ever had. My husband had the ploughman's which was full of different things to tempt the taste buds. Our son had the children's chicken nuggets and chips. It was the first meal ALL week he has eaten and cleared his entire plate. He said they were yummy! We ordered drinks but wanted a drink off menu (Black Russian) but that was not too much trouble. The barman was more than happy to accommodate us which his cheery disposition. All the staff was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble...especially the guy who greeted us and served us at the bar. A final gift from Tenby was finding The Swanlake. If you are ever blessed with visiting Tenby pay Swanlake a visit and tell them we sent you. You will not be disappointed. Love good food, a cosy atmosphere and good company, then the Swanlake is the place to visit! Best wishes to you all and a BIG thank you from The Adams Family from England Nottinghamshire

Popped in here for a late lunch whilst returning from Pembroke Castle to Tenby. Nice pint of Hobgoblin...good beer, well kept. Ordered the Chicken curry and my wife ordered the cajun chicken with salad. Both of our meals were simply outstanding. Food was the worst we've ever had, chicken on a burnt toasted bun with salad that consisted of lettuce and peppers and charged £14.50 for the privilege. Waitress asked at end of meal if everything had been OK, and then became all defensive when we explained to her our experience. A place that should be avoided at all costs. Steak & Guinness pie (£14.95) comprised of what looked like a tin of tough stewing steak shot in a ramekin dish with a 'lid' of puff pastry, far from "Home-made!". I just ate the best lamb of my life. The Welsh Lamb dish with mashed potatoes, fine green beans and a rosemary jus was OUTSTANDING. I would have paid double the £22 for it. Whoever the chef is, they will go a long way.. the finger sticky pudding was amazing too. I’d love to head back for Sunday lunch but we are leaving today to head home.
