The best restaurants serving British food in Stow Hill Newport South Wales

Ordered an afternoon high tea and a savoury yesterday, the food was lovely plenty of filling in the sandwiches, I phoned to say something was missing from the high tea and in no time it was reckifed , but not just one item they sent more. First class service as always, have ordered Sunday roast dinners for tomorrow which in sure will be excellent thanks royal mail

Insanely good. Will return again and again, even if I don't like in Newport.

You will NOT get a better breakfast for the money anywhere else.. The service is fairly quick and the girls are always polite.. The plate is absolutely chock full and the extra large & large breakfasts are unbelievably good

nachos where stale low.thwu had been left out over night, I couldn't eat them and the delivery guy couldn't speak English and refused to give me my food because he couldn't work out on his phone what delivery was mine even with me showing him my delivery code and where I ordered from.. shocking food quality and delivery service

Excellent venue for events, I can't comment on the rooms, service or the food as I set up for a party but the staff were very friendly. It has a split level stage area lost if seating.

Order at the bar or in app. Huge selection of food and beverages. Lots of meal deals with drink included. Reasonable prices. Busy.

A good birthday for my mum and the staff where helpful and kind a great place to come to visit with your friends and family .

Had to give this a go as seen it on TikTok and my sister booked it for us all and we had a lovely time , the staff are rude but it’s not offensive and we all found it funny and would deffo go again

Having arrived at approximately 6pm on Friday evening, we sourced menus as not on tables, which were photocopies and stapled pages together, not a good first impression.

Just popped into the bar for linch, the food here is excellent and we were looked after by Georgina who could not have been more helpful, a true star for this hotel - we will be back
