Food @ Fifty Five in Newport

Delivery was quick. Food was packaged well and arrived hot. Food was very good quality, chips not and fish and sausage not greasy. We really enjoyed our meal and would fully recommend. They even added extra salt and vinegar, noted on the order form. Will definitely be back!

Having arrived at approximately 6pm on Friday evening, we sourced menus as not on tables, which were photocopies and stapled pages together, not a good first impression.

We have been going to the TA on and off for 18 years but more off than on due to previous bad experiences under various different landlords. But since the latest landlord took over every visit has been a good experience. Great food. Not much of a wait. Good service and friendly staff. Good range of drinks. Its also dog friendly. Really hope these guys stay a long time. We will be visiting a lot more based on our recent experiences.

A very busy Wetherspoons pub. Always a pleasant atmosphere in there. Never seem to be enough staff working. They work flat out tbh. I had a pint of Doombar, £1.49 but it was poor. Lacked body and the flavour you get from a well looked after pint. The Worthingtons is £1.10 which is incredible value.

Excellent venue for events, I can't comment on the rooms, service or the food as I set up for a party but the staff were very friendly. It has a split level stage area lost if seating.
