Ordered Sunday dinner, was lovely and the portion sizes were that big I had Sunday dinner on Monday as well. Recommended 100%.

The scaffolding outside outside may put you off but the food inside was delicious. We all had different things and all were very good.the only problem was the big portions which meant we left some of the food. The prices were the cheapest we have paid anywhere. The service very good and we will be back.

Very noisy and they are putting the bottles in the main waste bin outside at 1.30 am in the morning waking up the residents near by. Don't know why they can't do it in the day time?? Very irresponsible

Clean, tidy with pleasant and helpful staff.

David the bar-man was a fantastic individual & what an intense puffy ginger moustache he wears & wears it proudly. He served me a small whisky mixed with a hint of custard. I hope to see him again & that moustache again x

Great place to visit for food, drinks, or a bit of karaoke. The service is always friendly, efficient and the price of drinks is reasonable too. Recently attended the first Sunday Quiz Night - only £1 per person. It was great fun and had an amazing atmosphere. If you haven't popped in before, it is genuinely worth a visit!

Popped in earlier 4 a pint and a brekkie. Fp lovely lady behind the bar serving. Food was absolutely lush. Didn't mind the wait because it was all cooked fresh. Will definitely be back again

Went to the Windsor Castle for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff were really friendly, there was a lovely atmosphere and the food excellent and reasonably priced. We were all very impressed.

Stop when ever in town for a few pints...Staff we love them they are friendly and welcoming. Had there festive Hot Turkey Cranberry panini it was gorgeous.

Ordered 4 fried breakfasts for my girlfriend, me and her family. The sausages and bacon were obviously the cheapest brand available. Eggs were hard. Only good thing was the baked beans which were actually hot. On the plus side we had plenty of toast and butter but considering there is a very nice cafe round the corner it was our first and last visit. Bar staff were friendly and helpful.

Just had a roast pork Sunday lunch delivered. SUPERB, 1st class and loads of food, nothing is skimped on. There's loads of lovely gravy as well. Will defo recommend and will order again.

I ordered a Sunday roast for myself. And it was lovely, came early, (dident mind)everything was piping hot,and the gravey, was just how I like it,not to thick and nit to running just perfect. I know , next time I wonts a Sunday roast, Windsor Castle is were I'm ordering one from. We've just had out first Sunday dinner of the year delivered to us from The Windsor. Had a few last year and we're defo gonna continue. The mixed meat dinner is more than enough for any man. Piping hot with a whole container of gravy to cover it and more. Perfect roasters and boiled spuds with a huge selection of veg. Trust me on this. Get yourselves one. You won't be disappointed 👌

New management is amazing, the place looks lovely, we were seated straight away and a drinks order was taken as soon as we were seated the music was a mixture of old and new so everybody was catered for all in all an amzing night. We will be returning :)

Just opened, had to go for a tincture. All track and trace done, social distancing applied. Felt safe to say the least. Now the service... second to none! Jill and Tony have made a fabulous environment with top class service and great staff. Will absolutely be going in again. Hope they do food soon. A BIG bonus.

We went in for some food we had a spaghetti bolognese with chips and salad and garlic bread and we had a roast dinner which was amazing the portion sizes were amazing and the prices were amazing too also the drinks were very reasonably priced too will definitely be going again

O MY GOSH! You know sometimes you just need to find a place to eat and the place is not what you would expect to have the best meal. Well! I can tell you the this place is the closest I have got to a Sunday home cook dinner. I was awsome and at £6.00 for a choice of meat or all for £8.00. Well worth a visit. Thank you for my suprise. The food that is!

Called in as we were going to CAB the food was good quality, the service was good, and it was good value, dont be put off by the look of the pub.

If your looking for pub grub this is it at its best Outside looked dark and gloomy a bit off putting but so glad we went in My husband had ham egg and chips he couldn't finish it 2 eggs 2 thick slices of ham and a plie of chips I opted for a jacket potato with chicken and sweetcorn which came with salad garnish One pint and a soft drink came to £11.50 fantastic value Spotted someone having the roast nearby and it lookd really good depending on what meat you go for between £7 and £8 We'll certainly return its a good alternative to he ' chains' that seem to dominate the area

Popped in on a Friday evening with my wife for a pint, we were served quickly and found a nice couch to sit at. This is clearly a local's pub with several characters there who know each other and who are regulars. But all seemed quite friendly, no looks as if to say "why are you here?" and a few even smiled or said hello. Bar staff lovely, great selection of drinks. There was DJ setting up but the music hadn't started by the time we left.

Had a awesome night but If sir Wally sings any worse we'll have to take him back to choir practice

A substantial hearty Sunday lunch with the choice of four different meats. I chose Beef, chicken and lamb together. It was a tasty dinner served promptly piping hot. It represented great value for money and I would recommend it to others. Also a central location with ample parking nearby. Friendly traditional pub.
